My boyfriend and I just returned from a great holiday at the Skiathos Princess. The hotel was lovely, right on a sandy beach and the pool area was especially nice - and quiet too as May is the start of the season - no need to get up early to get a sunbed! The rooms were clean and the food was good.
We managed to tear ourselves away from sunbathing and did a day trip involving a cruise round the island and over to mainland Greece, which we really enjoyed.
You can easily catch a bus or get a taxi from outside the hotel to get out and about. We got a taxi to the town a few times for cocktails and a walk round the shops.
The only downside was that the Euro exchange rate isnt too good at the moment so things like drinks in the hotel are pricey. We didnt really mind though cos we were on our holidays!
All in all a lovely holiday, didn't want to come home!

Fantastic holiday in Skiathos would go back any time. hotel was very good, large rooms, air con, good breakfast and lovely pool and gardens. only down side was the food was often cold.
A must do is a visit to the windmill restaurant on the top of the hill in Skiathos Town. food and location can not be beaten.

We had 2 weeks at this hotel in June 2010 we were never told it was also a wedding venue not that we have any objects re weddings the thing i do object to is being kept awake until 4 and 5 o clock in the mornings with music and drunken party goers We had that 6 nights out of the 14 nights there .And the management couldnt have cared less.If we had wanted a 18 /30 holiday i would have booked one. Food most nights not up 5 star standard altough located was excellent
