I did the Room 306 thing, and found it not too bad for the first two nights, I was stressed from U.K. City life and needed a quiet spacious room to chill. Travelling on my own with my daughter, I found the staff accommodating, and the safety element was there for two women... more

Heaven on Earth
We have not stayed anywhere so perfect in many years. Staff great. Food lovely. Very clean. Great view
rip off
Ive worked in 6 countries in the world and i have seen alot, but ole deniz in turkey was the worst place to go for a week, it was as dear, if not dearer than england, £5 for 2 cokes, they took advantage of the british, there is no prices on the menu's, they charge what they please, every where you go you get pested, you have to pay to use some beaches, if you book a trip it cost you more when you get to your destination, it was [----], they take advantage of the beauty of the area, cound'nt wait to leave, and ill never go back
Best Hotel with best staff!
We stayed there a week in August with my parents and this was the best hotel I have ever stayed for a long time. First of all, the price is unbeatable for the location, the food - both breakfast and dinner are open buffet - and the amenities, like hotel has its beach in Oludeniz, one could not find these all together at the same time with that rate per day. What made staying at this hotel a unique superb experience is the friendly, professional staff that I did not see anywhere else during my entire stay in Turkey. The hotel manager, Cem Bal, was truly a professional manager which is becoming harder to find in the service industry. He was not only making sure that the guests were comfortable or having the right vacation experience , but also a hands on guy who was paying attention to the little details as far as the cleanliness of the place go or other things. Needles to mention, the entire staff from reception to waiters and cleaning folks, they all demonstrated a friendly attitude throughout the entire stay. A specific example to this is Levent Imamoglu at the reception. I would definitely recommend this place anyone and next time this hotel will be my choice in Oludeniz.
Nice
Nice, pleasant and clean hotel especially for families with kids. The food and the service is good and the staff is friendly. A little bit noisy because the main road passes by, but with the exellent view over Oludeniz and the beach.
What a great choice of Hotel
We have just returned from a two week holiday staying at the Belle Vue Hotel in Oludeniz. What a fabulous Hotel. We arrived at the airport desperate to start our two week holiday in the sun, everything went amazingly smooth from the plane landing on time and our transfer bus awaiting our arrival, `Couldn't of been better`. Our transfer was arranged through A2B Transfer who come under the name `Yesil Dalyan Travel`. When we arrived at the Belle Vue we were greeted by a very lovely receptionist who swiftly booked us into the hotel and arranged for our baggage to be taken to our room ( Always the nervy bit!!) the cleaner ( they all seem to have a mountin of jobs to take on) carried our bags down a long quite steep staircase and didnt flinch at how tuff it was and embarassingly bounced backwards and forwards with a smile on her face. The room we was given was quite dissapointing it was at the back of the hotel along a very busy road and very small to say the least, our safety deposit box was not even attached to the wall so anybody could of taken the whole thing, we spoke to reception straight away who very kindly agreed to change our room once one became available which turned out to be within two days after our arrival. The new room was on the pool side terrace and was much more spacious, we was grateful of the change of room, however we would of loved one of the balcony rooms as the views were stunning and our room wasnt very private but the cleaners kept it amazingly clean and fresh bedding and towels every day, but who stays in their room that much anyway.
Had a great holiday
Arrived at hotel early hours and was put in a sub standard room, but was moved after one night to a superb room with mountain and sea views. The staff were very helpful especially Sukre who prctically lived there,he was attentive to our every need and nothing was to much trouble. The hotel commands beautiful views high over the resort and out to sea,it was magical at dusk to sit with an ice cold efos beer and watch the para-gliders circling and landing on the beach below after jumping off Mount Babadag. You need to be fit and able bodied to reach the hotel by walking as the approach is very steep by road, but the local Dolmus will stop to pick you up and drop you off,and there's always the taxi's.The food for beakfast is basic but addequate in 40 plus degrees,if you require a full english breakfast you can get this in the resort for 3 lira (£1.50).If you are on half board the evening meals are again okay but with such a variety of good restaurants in town it is nice to try a few.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ther and we will definitly return.
Wicked hotel
Stayed here for a week in june 2008. This hotel has the best view in olu deniz! Got given a top floor room with great views across the bay. The hotel is well above average for its appearance. The whole place feels clean and ambient. The bar and pool are impressive. The rooms are clean modern. We had half board but only used the breakfast facility. The breakfast menu is basic but adequate. The is'nt much in the way of a hot breakfast but it does the job!. The staff are helpful but speak limited english so it can be difficult to gain tourist information. The only bad point is the walk up the hill to the hotel (especially in the 42 degree heat!)
Fantastic hotel and very friendly staff
We have just returned back from staying at the Belle Vue, Olu Deniz, Turkey and have to say what a wonderful place to spend a week relaxing. To start with, the hotel was extremely clean from the rooms , the pool, restaurant and bar area. The team seemed to be constantly cleaning to make this hotel look and feel great. Upon arrival at the hotel at stupid o'clock in the morning we were greated by smiley faced reception staff who did everything they could to get us booked in and to our rooms as quickly as possible, including taking our bags to our rooms and not hanging around for a tip (which was nice !!). The room was very clean, nice size with everything you could possibly require - mini bar , tv with sky, balcony with amazing views and a clean bathroom with both bath and shower. We opted for the half board option as this was on special offer at the time and cheaper than bed and breakfast which seemed a bit strange ??!!?? The food was edible - very basic turkish food, saying this it was ok after a long day at the beach etc. The one night where the food did excel itself was on the Thursday night when they put on a turkish night including a BBQ, turkish dancers , fire eaters etc. This was a very good lively night. As a young couple we found this hotel very quiet and so relaxing for the week we spent here. The staff were excelent and the manager couldn't do enough for us. On our final evening we weren't being collected from the hotel for our transfer to the airport until 1130pm , the hotel check out time was 1200 noon. After speaking with the manager he arranged for a room to be available for us to shower and change in the evening so that we could enjoy the day around the pool without having to worry about traveling in wet clothes etc. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as the views were amazing and the breeze in the afternoon was a life saver, however it is halfway up what seems like the biggest mountain on earth - DO NOT let this put you off as there is a minibus service every couple of minutes to get you to and from the hotel to the main centre costing 2 lire each (£1). The location also means that it isnt within the main centre of the town therefore a lot quieter in the evening.
fabulous hotel
What a truly wonderful hotel with such warm and friendly staff. The hotel itself is set back slightly from the main resort of Oludeniz with breathtaking views down over the town and sea/coastline.Whilst this requires a bit of a walk up a small hill, from the town to the hotel, the peace and beauty of this hillside vantage point make it so, so worthwhile. (For the less energetic guest or those with young children, there is always the very cheap local buses and taxi service!!) What can i say - the staff were just. great with a perfect balance of warmth, friendliness, enthusiasm and professionalism. Sukru, (bar and restaurant manager) is an absolute treasure! He is a bright and charismatic young man and is a real asset to the hotel. He was able to give us lots of good advice about where to go and what was worth seeing in and around Oludeniz. The gorge at Saklikent with its icy mountain waters is a must (take swimming things, but you wont stay in long!) and we really enjoyed hiring a jeep and visiting the ancient Lycian tombs at Tlos and then driving on down to the beautiful Patara beach, famous for its hatching turtles. Sukru gave us the advice, that if we visited Saklikent Gorge, we should also visit Yaka Park (not in any of the guide books). This turned out to be the highlight of the day, with lunch at a restaurant built around a series of natural springs bubbling out of the mountain. Returning to the Hotel, we found the atmosphere peaceful and wonderfully conducive to a relaxing and perfect holiday. The bar and restaurant staff - Mustapha, Harun and Veli (apologies for misspellings) were lovely - they patiently listened to our rather pathetic efforts to speak a few words in Turkish and were just really nice and friendly. Thankfully their English was much better than our Turkish! The food was absolutely delicious with a good choice of different meats and vegetarian dishes,salads,dips/mezes etc to suit even the most fussy of eaters. We have never eaten so much in our lives! The hotel is under new ownership/management, so some changes are planned, but i so hope that the owners will make sure that the bar area continues to have that wonderful view over the bay, as it was just magical to sit with a glass of chilled wine in my hand looking down over the twinkling lights of the bay below!! If you are looking for the 'thumping, wall to wall night life' or other people to look after your children 24 hours a day, then this is probably not the hotel for you. Having said all that, the belly dancer night was a huge success, as we were encouraged to join in with the dancing with hilarious outcomes - some of us ended up being thrown into the pool fully clothed, so do watch out for the smiling Sukru, there is more to him than his friendly exterior!!. There was a lovely international mix of guests from Holland, Germany, England and Turkey. Perhaps from my teenage children's point of view, they would love some of Sukru's ideas for the future - pool games, film evening, cocktail evening - to come to fruition. Thats it really. We loved it and would be very happy to go back there another year. Ps Thank you Veli for that delicious cocktail you generously gave us on our last night.
Wonderful, Friendly Hotel, not just a clever name too!
I can't rate this hotel highly enough. My boyfriend and i have just returned from a 2 week holiday to Turkey, where we spent 3 nights at this hotel. A few hundred yards up the road from Olu Deniz beach, this hotel has an absolutely incredible view out over the bay. They've put their hotel bar terrace right next to the edge, so you can enjoy an aperitif as the sun goes down over the bay! Meals at the hotel were great, the chef cooks freshly prepared meats on the BBQ and the array of salads and hot dishes changes every day. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, quiet and airy, some are set around the lovely hotel roof-top pool, some have views over the bay. Only hole I could pikc would be that if you're staying in one of the pool side rooms, you have to keep the blinds closed as there is no privacy otherwise, but you shouldn't be hiding in your room anyway!
