We arrived at the Hotel after long...
1 / 10
Jun 2006, Jacab

We arrived at the Hotel after long journey and long transfer and were put in a tiny room with no suitable windows. We have since found out from one of the staff that this room is meant for staff not guests.
There was no air and we could not unpack our clothes because it was too small, we waited in the morning with other people who were treated the same to see the Rep who wasn’t really interested. We spent the first day on the phone to try and sort this matter out, it took 2 days to get moved.
We have since found out this has been happening since last year, even though everyone is complaining this is still going on and I don’t understand why. So anyone thinking of booking with Goldtrail please make sure you don’t go to the Belle Vue.
G Butterworth.

Lots of contact and very helpful...
5 / 10
Oct 2005, Ms E de Pledge

Lots of contact and very helpful prior to actual stay. Arrived early evening, warm welcome.
Unfortunately, as the week progressed the staff were not so interested (there was however one lady who continued to be helpful all week despite being glued to the mobile phone most of the week). Tried the restaurant the second night we were there for dinner - big mistake. It was the most cheerless restaurant I have ever been in. Don’t know if this was because it was the end of the season or what but it was badly lit, dismal, no staff were in evidence, the restaurant was on the rooftop and was poorly lit. The pool was smelly. The food was terrible. We couldn’t wait to get out of there and head off into town.
Its a shame really because the hotel is in a lovely location and the rooms are really very good. A little more outside lighting might have been appreciated and also, again, this could have been because it was coming to the end of the season but there was a distinct lack of furniture on the terraces (the one I was on was communal) I asked for a table on day two and it never materialised all week.
All in all, its a great hotel in a great location but isn’t run particularly well which is a great pity. Will be returning to the resort but sadly not to that hotel.

We booked our holiday through Jetline...
1 / 10
Aug 2005, Mr N Ireson

We booked our holiday through Jetline Travel and requested a family hotel close to the beach as we have 2 children 12and 15 years old .Jetline recommended this hotel as 300meters from the beach with good facilities pool etc . On this recommendation booked 2 weeks half board with 2 room together with sae views .
On arrival we found this hotel to be not close to the beach as stated but somewhere below cloud base just under the need for breathing equipment. ON check in we were given 2 rooms ONE 1st floor no balcony as such just a common area/walkway to stairs 2nd room 3 floor no view apart from hill side rooms together not available (not very good for family holiday)
The first morning after arrival we soon found out this is not a family hotel and found out children under 12 are not really permitted therefore no other children at hotel (bit of luck really as any more than 2 lilos in pool and it is full )
We suffered 1 day and requested a transfer for many reasons
1 no facilities for children
2 no pool more like a foot bath
3 require rope and climbing boots to return from beach, that’s if you managed to get there with out being run over on time main dirt road in to town (hill about 1in2)
Yes hotel is clean and staff helpful but more suited to couples who like mountain climbing DID GET GREAT TRANSFER BUT COST ANOTHER £1200.00 (ANOTHER STORY).

Just spent 2weeks at Belle Vue hotel...

May 2005, Mr A Lee

Just spent 2weeks at Belle Vue hotel Olu Deniz, hotel is nice, on a hill which is ok getting down but hard to do last 100m if you are climbing up.
The food on first impressions is good but after a few days you notice that it is the same food that you left the other day served up again.
The chef is seen cooking, but the food at best is luke warm. Olu Deniz is very quiet place best suited to couples.

This hotel, has a wonderful view...
9 / 10
Sep 2004, Mrs L Read

This hotel, has a wonderful view other the whole of the resort and beach, which not many hotels can offer. It is built on a hill, so not ideal for people with walking difficulties although the Dolmus go past the hotel every 5 minute and are very cheap. The people are wonderful, cannot do enough for you. The food was lovely, although not that great for children. The rooms are very clean and quite large, they also have a minibar which was great for storing cold drink. I definitely recommend this hotel, and would certainly go back again.

Fantastic... A single word...
9 / 10
Sep 2004, Mr A Passingham

Fantastic... A single word description for a fantastic holiday but that is the overall rating... What are the bad points? what ever is said on the bad side is counteracted by the good points 10 to 1 but still need a small mention.
Not all rooms have a sea view as mentioned in the gumph and on first impression the 500 metres to the beach looks a bit conservative but in reality is about right (the last 100 yards on the way back is very up hill though).
Staff in all departments are again fantastic, our room was very clean (but lacked a double bed) and was kept clean for 10 days (not by us).
Food was very good and suited my vegetarian partner (the Turks know more things to do with an aubergine than I have had hot dinners) we both felt the food would suit the most fussy of eaters but there is always one...
The pool is a tad on the freezing side and the sun is noticeably absent after 3.45 in the afternoon but by then its time to hit the beach.
Maybe we were lucky, but our fellow guests were fab - just the right blend of pleasantly barking (eh Nell?) and wonderfully sparkly ( you know who you are Sue!) Many a sparkly night at the poolside bar giving the bar staff something to talk about..... Our own belly dancing evening was every bit as good as the one laid on by the hotel..
All in all, wonderfully friendly hotel, fabulous location, fantastic outlook.... and all for under £500!
