Paradero Apartments

Upon arrival the fridge door was wide open with towels covering the floor below it mopping up the excess water that had obviously leaked from it being broken and unplugged by 'somebody'. I also found I had hidden plumbing talents through having to fix the flush on the toilet(though hole in the floor would sound some what more appropriate as it wasn’t even bolted down properly).
Once our bags were put down-we were immediately greeted by a cockroach the size of a fist. Well we didn’t want to intrude but hey-we paid our money so it was his life or ours. We prevailed. We were told the next morning by a rep to take the fridge problem to reception-which stupidly(and time wasting)we did. A "service man" was sent and while smiling-plugged the fridge back in as if we hadn’t already thought of that, and in the best English (that he had just read and been told to ‘say and run’)he said ‘any problems u let me know’ -(who he actually was-was a mystery anyway so as soon as he’d walked out of the room leaving our broken fridge(which door didn’t actually shut)we decided to tackle the problem ourselves.
I decided that pushing the table up against the fridge door would do the trick. It was better. Paradero apartments are great for holidaymakers wanting a challenge a day however, if you’re after a relaxing stay to get away from it all-Steer clear.
