This Island is truely magical, the soft white sand and crystal blue sea is fantastic. Never imagined it to be quite like it.
This was our 1st time to the Maldives and did not know what to expect, we travelled with Emirates to Male, where we were greated on arrival by Coco Palm staff, there was then a short journey to the seaplane port on which we got our own private room/balcony to wait in with nice cool drinks supplied.
On arrival at the island we were greated with an induction and tour of the island, we were then taken to our Deluex Villa (Room 75) which was amazing, only 7 metres from the beach where sun loungers and towels were provided.
There was many different activities to do e.g. Dolphin watching, visit to another island, bbq evening, diving, canoeing, etc. Snorkelling gear was free.
The weather was great, average 28 deg C, we went at the end of the rainy season, we only had 1 thunderstorm at night which did not bother us.
We had the option of spending 1 night in the Lagoon Palace Suit for $495, this seems quite expensive but really it is worth every penny. We stayed at (Room 101). There are only 2 of these suits on the island, they have magnificent views over the blue sea with a huge pool on the terrace. Good fun for diving off of too. I would highly recommend this if you have the option on arrival.
I have never been anywhere else in the world with such friendly staff and people, there was a staff party 1 night on which we was invited to, proper maldivien music and dancing, spectacular to see.
Food was amazing throughout the whole holiday, the main restraunt was self service and there was also food cooked infront of you in a cuisine style. Very nice.
You had your own waiter which kept you topped up with drinks, remember to tip on the island, you will be served quicker and remembered for it.
As we came to the end of our holiday we did not want to leave, the whole island was breath taking and the people there were to nice to leave behind. As we left the island were were given a sad goodbye by all the staff, as we got the boat out to the jetty we sadly looked back over looking the paradise island!
I really hope to travel back there one day.
