Adaaran Prestige Vadoo

Upon our arrival at the Maldives airport, there is a counter at the airport where our hotel customer service setup. They arranged for our speedboat transfer at the counter. After an approximate 20 minutes transfer time, we arrived at the hotel where some hotel staff prepared a warm welcome for us. We had our welcome drinks then our personal butler guided us to our water bungalow. The room has a personal plunge pool and jacuzzi. Our arrival and transfer all the way to the resort is as wonderful as what we had read. Another reason is the wonderful comments on the house reef as we are avid snorkelers and nothing beats snorkeling off the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious, all creature comforts within reach. We were whisked on a speed boat (15 min ride) to the resort and were led to a romantic restaurant for our welcome cocktail. A saxophonist was playing in the background. The personal butler allocated to us was Shiju. He addressed us by our surname when we first met (personal touch!), is knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and provided one of the best service. Our trip to Maldives started 2 month before the departing date, chosing the better place to stay. We were first timers, so the TripAdvisor was a precious resource to take decisions. After a smooth flight from Singapore, we were greeted at the airport and took the 15 minute ferry to the island. Upon our arrival we were greeted by our butler, Tino, and various other staff. We went to Adaaran prestige Vadoo for our honeymoon in April and I just have one word to describe the place - heaven. From the rooms to the service to snorkeling - everything was perfect. After a very short wait at the airport we arrived at the resort in about 15 mins by speedboat. We were greeted by our butler and given a very refreshing welcome drink. I had the privilege to attend the opening ceremony of Adaaran Vadoo. It is a fantastic resort, ideal for honeymoon couples. The water bungalows are very romantic. Located in a small island but with big services. I recommend this resort only to honeymooners.

My partner Lee and I have just returned from a perfect holiday in Vadoo, a small island 15 minutes speedboat ride which was great from the capital Male. Our Water Villa was definatley 5 star with spa bath and plunge pool on the deck, our butler Sidju was attentive and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, he was on call 24hrs a day and bought canapes to us each evening. We visited this newly opened amazing place from 13th - 20th April and all we want to do is go back! The overnight flight with Monarch was ok and on landing we were wisked off in the Vadoo speedboat to our island and were in our own plunge pool on the terrace within an hour of landing (one of the huge benefits of being so close to Male, especially if you only have a week as we did). This resort is now called Adaaran Prestige Vadoo Flying in from Singapore, and having to wait a long time for our speedboat transfer, we finally arrived at Vadoo on only the 3rd day after it had opened having been completely rebuilt and upgraded, so the resort was still suffering from a number of teething problems and not all facilities were up and running as we had been advised. All rooms are water bungalows - complete with large jacuzzi bathroom with lcd tv , in front of the large bedroom is a decking area with a small plunge pool.... more
