Our party was booked into Los Girasols on arrival in Playa del Ingles as it was not possible to stay at the apartments we had booked. Although the bungalows are clean there was a problem with cockroaches.
One of our party was a wheelchair user and although the complex is flat, it is not easy to negotiate wheelchairs into the bedroom and impossible to bathe, particularly when you are unable to stand or walk as no disabled bathing facilities are provided anywhere on the complex!

Fantastic accommodation in a fantastic location, 15 mins walk to beach, 5 mins from Jumbo. Close to facilities but in a peaceful area.
Accommodation of a high standard, very clean and cleaners in most days. Surrounding gardens and pool area all really nice. Staff pleasant, however didn't speak much English (we must learn Spanish). Advise to book an extra night if your flight is late at night, our only drawback was having to be out of our bungalow for midday and our flight wasn't until 23.45. Asked to pay to keep bungalow on until that evening but not possible.
However met a nice couple of girls who allowed us to use their bungalow for a shower etc, made us very welcome and much appreciated. Would definitely go back and stay at Los Girasols and highly recommend it. Excellent also for disabled access in and around bungalow and surrounding gardens.
