Ok. Well four of us girls, first time ever going away, 16, 17, 17 and 17. We booked our flights and apartments separately.
We had red a few reviews on sol y vera apartments, nothing that I could remember that we would worry about, but you'll always read bad ones! Just that it was a bit noisy. But when we first arrive ill admit I did look and think ''oh god'' But until you walk around the back and get to the entrance its fine! We walked up the stairs struggling with our suitcases but luckily some young fellas helped us out! Got the reception it was around 12ish midday, was really friendly, nice really nice, got our room key and that went to our apartment, we was lucky because all the apartments ending in 6 are bigger! We was on the 2nd floor I think, I will warn you!
This is not for adults, there wasn't one adult or child where we stayed! We was all fairly young, oldest I saw was problem 21 and still they were there for all the same reasons everyone else is! It wasn’t too noisy, people said it was really noisy, I only remember one night where it was quite bad! Everything is close by! Really close! You couldn’t be much closer honestly.
Were quite fussy but the hotel honestly is fine, were going back there next and hoping to return the same place, I would recommend this to anyone, but one downfall, it got very hot at night, as there isn’t any air con, so with four girls trying to get ready was a complete nightmare but we done it ! But Magaluf is a must!

The apartments, although very basic, were ideally situated for the beach, shops and eating places.
Excellent value for money. They were also very good for buggies, wheelchairs, etc as there were ramps for easy access.

We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel as it doesn't look much from outside but the rooms were basic but clean.
We had wonderful views of the sea. Magaluf is very rowdy and very much a young people's resort but we were away from the worst of it but still only 5 or 6 minutes walk, or about 3 euro taxi ride.
This is not really suitable for families, its basic accommodation for young people and nothing else.
It has a smallish pool and a sun deck but no bar, although Susie's bar just downstairs from the pool is great as she does lovely snacks and meals and you can buy drinks and beers etc.
The beach is only a few minutes away and it's lovely, clean and pleasant for everyone, and lots of nice bars and eating places. If you go to Sol Y Vera, tell them not to put you in a room next to the lift as it can be really annoying after a while, especially in the early hours, although it probably wouldn't have bothered a lot of people as they would still be out clubbing!
I was in a party of 5 which included 2 teenagers of 13 and 17, a 22 year old, and my husband, and the older two girls loved it!
