What a fantastic place and the same goes for Billy, Alex and Billy's family.

If you've read all the previous reviews, then there's very little I can add. My husband and I stayed with our two girls aged 11 and 8 for two weeks in the school holidays. We have never ended a holiday feeling sad to be returning home before, but this year was different!

Our thanks to our wonderful hosts for making our stay so enjoyable. Billy is a sweetheart and Alex always has a smile and the odd joke to play!

Andromeda is a haven of tranquillity, which makes everyone relax. The apartments are spotlessly clean, we had a two storey apartment, which had two bathrooms and two balconies’s both facing the pool. Clean linen and towels everyday and they even washed up our dishes if we'd been too lazy to do it that morning!

Andromeda is away from the town of Sidari, which in my view is a good thing. It’s walkable, but I'd recommend a taxi in the dark, the taxi drivers are loonies and with no pavements we didn't risk it! Just 5 Euros from the taxi rank in town back to Andromeda. Takes 2 minutes, well, depending whose driving, one night I think we probably did it in 0.5 seconds, who needs white knuckle rides!!!

Sunset beach bar was nice for a change one evening, like the name says, wonderful view as the sun goes down. To avoid the busy town at night, turn right out of Andromeda then 1st left towards Canal D'Amour, a twenty minute stroll takes you past some lovely taverna's and eventually you'll arrive at the sea front.

Billy takes great pride in his hotel and deserves the 10/10's everyone has awarded Andromeda on this review page.

One of our most enjoyable holidays ever. We're looking forward to returning one day to see our dear hosts again.

What an amazing, fantastic, tremendous place to visit! Not just because of the superb, spacious apartments set in the middle of beautiful surroundings “a jewel in the crown” of Peroulades, but also because Billy, the owner, is so very special – you know that don’t you Billy?

From the moment you set foot in his Hotel, Billy does his utmost to ensure you have the perfect holiday. Nothing is too much trouble. Wherever there is laughter – and there is plenty of that – you can be sure Billy is not far away. He runs the place like clockwork and is very particular about cleanliness. He even sacked the cleaners on the day we arrived because they did not clean behind the cupboards in the apartment!

This is a family run hotel and you are certainly made to feel part of the family when you stay here. We even joined in a christening celebration on our second night.

The Hotel itself is far enough away from Sidari to provide you with a peaceful holiday, yet close enough (5 euros in Taxi) to enable you to get to the many bars, restaurants and, if you are young enough, the nightclubs. The restaurant/bar is run by Alex, who always makes you feel welcome and is great company. They do a wide selection of meals and snacks, which are served all day. The Greek night (Saturday) is a must if you stay here. Do not miss it. We were fortunate enough to get 2 Greek nights in during our stay.

We tried many restaurants but the best by far is called Bikolis which is about 100 metres from the Andromeda. It is run by a lovely family and their home made bread is to die for. Try the fresh fish and the chicken/pork roasted on the spit over charcoal.

The Three Brothers Hotel, in the centre of Sidari, did an excellent BBQ night with 3 courses and as much as you could eat for 12 euros. A visit to the Panorama restaurant/bar on Sunset beach (20 mins walk from the Andromeda) is definitely not to be missed as you can watch the sunset while you have a cold beer.

Our teenage son and daughter (16 & 17) both said that this was the best holiday they had ever had and that Billy was the nicest person in the world. We can honestly say as a family that this has been a wonderful holiday and can thoroughly recommend the Hotel Andromeda to anyone. You cannot fail to have a great time, whatever your age.

Just got back from a little piece of heaven called Corfu andromeda hotel, everything about this hotel is perfect don’t have to leave the hotel at all.

Billy, Alex and the rest of the "family" could not have done anymore for you, everything is kept immaculate, even the walls are swept everyday. You are in such a relaxed atmosphere that everyone gets along with everyone; we made some great friends whilst we were there, first time felt sad that holiday was over.

Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be going back there ourselves, so watch out Billy we will be back!!! See you soon!

If you have booked to stay at the Andromeda you are in for a real treat. We have just returned from a 2 week stay and are already desperate to return! From the moment we arrived Billy, Alex and the whole family welcomed us and made our holiday magical.

It is the friendliest place we have visited and we are missing our new friends already.

Be sure to visit Nicos and Elena's taverna just up the road for a fantastic Greek meal, and spend a night at Logas Beach watching the most beautiful sunset.

The Greek nights at the Andromeda are fantastic and not to be missed and be sure to try the Strawberry Cheesecake shots that Alex makes.

We were so sad to leave our friends behind and counting down the days until we can return. We are already planning to return in October this year and honeymoon there next year!

We’ve been home for an hour, tired but feel compelled to write a short review on our holiday at the Andromeda complex, Sidari Corfu. You want select, you got it.

Clean, modern, peaceful, relaxing and style, you got it all, if you’re looking for a friendly, family holiday you can’t go wrong.

Billy and his staff welcome you like old friends and treats you like one of their own. The Greek night is a must the simple menu is excellent. In fact once you've met Billy you've made a friend for life.

Brilliant, we're going back, if only for one of Alex’s cocktails. Well done Billy and staff and thanks for making our stay so memorable. Oh and don’t forget my Christmas card.

Fantastic location, great atmosphere, staff very friendly. Accommodation immaculate.

Good size pool, entertainment very good. Excursions pick up from accommodation, car hire ten mins walk away, very relaxed atmosphere .

The guy who runs things (Billy) is very friendly and efficient , welcomes you with a glass of orange and a piece of cake.

There are a couple of tavernas close by in particular Yannis, where the staff are friendly, the food is great, good value for money, relaxed atmosphere.

We booked this holiday and were very pleased to see the reviews on this site. The hotel lived up to and exceeded everything we had heard.

We arrived at 7 in the morning (1 hour late) and were greeted by Billy the hotel owner with a glass of fresh orange juice and escorted to our room.

The room was immaculate and by far the best we have stayed in. Billy is a fantastic host and nothing is too much trouble the Greek night is well worth staying in for and joining in with (check out the photos in reception).

There just is not enough good things that can be said about the Corfu Andromeda, however we never visit the same place twice but within 5 days of getting home we have booked to go back next May. What more can be said.

Thanks for a truly great holiday.

David and Tracey.

08/06/2007 - 16/06/2007

Myself and my sister visited Sidari in Corfu for a week in June. We stayed in the Andromeda hotel where we were greeted on arrival at 3.30am with a glass of orange juice by the hotel owner Billy.

He then showed us to our room which was very pleasant and consist of everything needed. inc hairdryer, towels and toilet roll (complimented as we were self catering).

There was a lovely sized pool with free sunloungers and a small pool for any children staying. Also a pool side bar which sold a variety of food and drinks and mini market on site. Cleanliness was a priority to Billy and couldn’t be faulted.

Billy and his family were very welcoming and made our stay a very enjoyable one. Gyannie the barman was the highlight of entertainment and would have a laugh with all the guests including ourselves. on the Saturday night Billy has a Greek night where everyone joins in and tries to do a little Greek dancing.

Our hotel rep Colette was lovely and extremely helpful.

We went on a couple of trips. on the Sunday we visited Aqualand, where we were picked up and greeted by a Thomas cook rep, Wednesday we went on a bbq cruise.

Would recommend it! again we were greeted by a rep and taken by coach to the boat, we then travelled to a private deserted island where we had a bbq and sunbathe. Also we could jump off the boat and have a swim in the middle of the sea.

The beach in Sidari was about 40 minutes away, but a taxi was 5 Euros if you didn’t want to walk. There are a variety of shops restaurants and bars with fantastic nightlife along the beach front. You can hire a pedelo for 8 Euros for an hour (must do before you go).

However if you turn left and visit sunset beach you can watch the sunset whilst sat having a drink in the bar and restaurant on the sea cliff. Very romantic for couples!

We were very sad to be leaving and miss Billy, Gyannie and everyone else at the Andromeda. Will definitely be visiting the Andromeda hotel again and can’t wait to get back.

What can I say! Just returned from a 2 week stay at the Andromeda and just like last year the service was as good if not better!

I can vouch for Jon trying to drink the bar dry!! Billy was his usual friendly and helpful self; Yiannis has replaced Alex and turned out to be a fine replacement. Billy has a new member of staff, namely a huge wooden giraffe which at times found itself in some very strange locations (Billy will know what that means). If you are staying at the Andromeda then you will be in for a great time.

His Greek nights are great, the rooms are great, and the pool is great in fact everything is great. I know you read these comments Billy, just to let you know that mine and Anns wedding was really great, and even the baby giraffe had a great time, photo to follow soon.

All said and done, to anyone staying at the Andromeda you will have a good time. We have been twice now in a year and have not been disappointed, a fine host all round. Mark & Ann

I can only reiterate what the other reviews say.

Billy is a first class host, surrounded by a first class family and first class staff. The wonderful atmosphere of Andromeda is something we have never experienced on a holiday before.

The accommodation is set back from the quiet road with beautiful views of the hills and surrounding countryside. Everywhere was sparklingly cream and very comfy and practical.

Everything about this small, family run complex has been done with taste and style. The sun loungers, the sofas and chairs, the bar furniture are all comfy and appealing to the eye.

The selection of drinks available at the bar was excellent and Yiannis can mix a fab cocktail with plenty of sparkly bits to decorate your glass. Yiannis was an absolute joy; friendly and good fun and happy to keep the children entertained with a game of cards whilst Mum and Dad "vegged" with their books.

The food available at the snack bar was lovely, freshly cooked and there was something to suit all tastes.

The staff all go out of their way to make you feel relaxed, welcomed, and able to enjoy your holiday. Saturday night sees the Greek Dancers arrive - you are encouraged to join in (even my normal moody, not going to join in teenager got up and joined in).

Billy and his family are an absolute joy and I look forward to keeping in touch with them and returning to Andromeda.

We all agreed that this was the best, most enjoyable, most relaxing holiday we've ever had.

You will have NO regrets if you've booked a holiday at Andromeda.

When we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed with cake and orange juice, which was very much welcomed after the long trip from the airport around an hour away.

We were shown our rooms which were a high standard with plenty of cooking facilities.

The hotel has a lovely swimming pool which seems to always be in the sun making it great for swimming or just relaxing by.

All the staff are always around to help you should you need it which is very reassuring should you have a problem which is unlikely. There is a bar at reception which has lots of different drinks and food on offer.

The food is all homemade and well worth a try. Billy the owner is a fantastic host who will do anything for you and is always trying to help. On our second night there was Greek night which was so much fun everyone young and old could join in the games.

If you are going to visit Aqualand I would recommend you go in to town and look at what the local tourist places have to offer with their deals you will find it is much cheaper than booking through your tour operator (Thomas cook offered it at 40 Euros each but we found it for 25 Euros) so it is well worth looking around.

We have already decided to return to Andromeda soon as the atmosphere is amazing.

All round the perfect holiday.

From the cake and drink on arrival we noted the Hotel owner as a fine host.

The rooms were well designed, clean and very functional. The site has excellent facilities for swimming, chilling out or attempting to drink the bar dry. (Which I did try!)

The restaurant 'next door' to the hotel has the best prawns I have tasted in my life and there is no shortage of garlic!

From the Hotel you can walk for twenty five minutes north to the seventh heaven restaurant. Once again, you can lavish yourself in excellent meat and seafood dishes.

If you want to walk five minutes further you can take sundowners in the cliff top cafe and indulge in the evening light and the arrival of fire flies.

Vassilas (who calls himself Billy) is a first class host, his family friends and staff go out of their way to ensure you have what you need when at the hotel.

I will and can recommend this hotel and have no doubt we will return as soon as possible.

Regards, John & Joy

We were there on the last week of the season with 4 friends. We were on our own for a few days until 2 more came!

Even though it was quiet, we loved the view from the room, the accommodation, and especially the friendliness of Billy. He met us in the early hours of the morning with a drink, something to eat, and a bottle of water to start us off! He also saw us off late one night!

Our best day was hiring a self-drive boat from Kassiopi, calling in at a beach to swim, another to eat the first course of lunch at a taverna, and another beach for the second course of lunch at a superb taverna at Agni.

A truly wonderful day!

We stayed at the andromeda the place is great the atmosphere is fantastic the staff are out of this world and the rest of Billy's family are so welcoming it was unforgettable we normally don't go to the same place twice but we will be returning to Andromeda next year hopefully.

We tried the Orchard but the best place to eat is a 2 min walk from the apartments towards sunset beach called Taverna Bicolis run by Eleni & Nico.
