Corfu Andromeda

Excellent to read such good reviews for the Andromeda because Billy and Alex work so hard to make you feel at home. We were made to feel so welcome on arrival (at 6am!) and throughout the holiday. The Andromeda is surrounded by beautiful views and the accommodation is very modern and immaculate. Didn’t want to come home!
Restaurants, bars and beaches are all a few minutes walk away, but the walk does you good after relaxing by the beautiful pool all day at the Andromeda.
Will definitely be recommending the Andromeda to all of my family and friends and will be going back for a holiday ourselves. Glad to see from Rick's review that he and Hannah enjoyed their holiday as they spent most of it with us (Alex and Cath) - we had such a good laugh.

We arrived at 4am on the 10 June and were greeted by Billy, we had a drink and some cake and then we were shown our room, when we woke up around 10am I opened the balcony doors, WOW what a view!!!........ We went up and seen the rep for Thomas cook and we sat near another couple Alex & Kath we clicked straight away and spent most of the week with them, my partner had her 21st birthday on the Monday, Billy made sure that she had a great day, the drinks were not cheap but they were big measures, Alex the barman was fantastic, he even cooked us a pizza at 3 in the morning we had a fantastic week and are going again next year, no complaints at all....... The rooms were very clean and trendy the pool was lovely. Thank you Billy see you next year

The Corfu Andromeda is a wonderful new hotel, If you are off to the Andromeda let me assure you that the facilities and the quality of the Hotel are very good, Billy The Owner welcomes all his guests personally with a drink and a snack, Alex the barman is very charming and funny, The Very lovely Miriam will make you her cocktail if you ask her nicely and Dina the quieter one will do her up most to make your stay fantastic.
Make sure to visit sunset beach and the Panorama restaurant which is especially good as the food is superb.
Take your camera with you for the Sunset as it is spectacular.
The only bad thing I have to say is that Corfu not just this hotel is I found very expensive for drinks but with the fantastic weather and views you will have a great stay on Corfu at this Hotel.
If you are thinking of going on a boat trip make sure to book in resort as it will be cheaper.

We arrived at the Corfu Andromeda in the early hours of the morning and were welcomed in by the ever smiling hotel owner Vassilis (aka Billis, aka Billy) and his lovely cousin Miriam who greeted us all with a refreshing drink and a piece of cake. This was just the start of the outstanding hospitality we received during our two-week stay at the Andromeda.

From the moment we arrived we were very impressed with the look and design of the Andromeda, from the classy exterior, to the stylish reception and lounge area, through to the bar and well furnished veranda with a view to the lovely pool and tree-clad hills beyond. We were equally impressed with our large and well-furnished two-story maisonette.

As wonderful as the buildings are, the real asset has to be the hotel owner Billy who, as stated in a previous review, is forever enigmatic, warm and caring and totally devoted to ensuring his guests have the best time possible. Nothing at all is too much trouble for Billy.

Helping Billy to ensure the best time possible was the barman Alex, a real fun guy with a wicked sense of humour who did his best to make sure we didn’t get too many early nights. Best wishes to him and his lovely girlfriend Amy who are to marry in August 2006.

Billy’s parents, Constantinos and Haroula, who live in the house next door to the Andromeda were ever present and always greeted us with a friendly smile and a wave. A lovely couple that showed us hospitality way beyond expectation.

Also helping out around the place while we were there was Billy’s fun loving dancing cousin, Miriam, and his very glamorous sister-in-law, Dina. Like every one else at the Andromeda, nothing was too much trouble for them.

The pool area had plenty of sun beds and was never crowded or noisy, even though every room was occupied. No need to get up early to put towels on beds!!!

As for eating out (not that anyone needed to because the food at the Andromeda was first-class and reasonably priced), there are many good restaurants in Sidari, but our favourites were probably the Sweet Apple located in the Canal D Amour area, and one located just 5 minutes away up hill from the Andromeda towards sunset beach. I can’t remember it’s name, but the food there was superb and much cheaper than many in the centre of Sidari.

To some people, the Hotel Corfu Andromeda might seem to be too far out of Sidari (2.5km) but for us it was in the most perfect location. Just sit by the pool and take in the views!!

This was our best ever holiday in Greece and we hope to return in 2006.

We booked this holiday 1 day before we left. My husband, myself and 2 children aged 4 and 7. The minute we arrived Billy the owner made us feel so welcome. He took us to our room and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. It had everything we could need including 2 bathrooms. They were very clean and tidied everyday.
The pool was superb and the bar area ideal. The staff were all lovely and went out of their way to make sure the children were happy. Sidari was a short taxi ride away and cost 5euro, where there were plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and of course the beach.
I would recommend this hotel to anybody whether couples or families. We will definitely be returning.

We have just returned from our first trip to the Greek Islands and are full of praise for the Corfu Andromeda Hotel. This holiday was booked only three days before departure and as this is a new hotel were not able to view any photos. We should not have worried - the hotel is fantastic, brand new with a very high standard of finish throughout.
Our Studio was immaculate with the usual self catering facilities including, fridge, microwave, kettle etc. The bathroom was superb with high quality sanitary ware. Maid service was daily and thorough. The complex comprises of three low rise buildings, housing studio apartments and two story accommodation for larger parties all set around the beautiful pool and gardens.
The hotel staff were always friendly and extremely helpful and by the end of our holiday were classed as friends, especially Vassillis and the barman Alex, who both went out of their way to ensure you had a good holiday.
Andromeda is set in a rural location, so ideal for those wanting a quite restful break. The resort of Sidari is a 30 minute walk away or alternatively the taxi service is good and costs 5 Euros. There are numerous Greek Tavernas located within a short stroll of the hotel and offer good value for money with a meal for three including a round of drinks for approximately 30 Euros. We especially enjoyed the food at Alexis bar, where the service was good and very friendly.
We will definitely be returning to this wonderful complex in the near future and will be recommending it to friends and family.
