Just came back from The Andromeda...
10 / 10
Sep 2007, Mrs Gina Santilli

Just came back from The Andromeda with the "Lovely Billy", he greets you with cake and orange juice no matter what time you get in, he is just superb and nothing is too much trouble for him. The accommodation is fantastic, and my sister Sarah and I had a brilliant week.
We hired a Jeep from Manos in Sidari and we did the whole island, great sites and we interacted with the locals from the little villages who were most hospitable.
As for food you must go to see Nicos and his family at Bikolos, the taverna serves great homemade traditional Greek food and the garlic homemade bread is to die for, so is the garlic wild mushrooms. Its such a change from the plastic gutbuster breakfast and smell of greasy spoons that you get when eating in Sidari, if you appreciate good food and wine go here 5 mins from the Andromeda.
The weather was glorious. The Greek night organised through Thomas cook was 4/10, everybody chain smoked between courses and as non smokers my sister and l found it unbearable.
A must is Kassioppi I went there 20 years ago on my honeymoon, it has change a bit but still has that lovely charm of a fishing village and unspoilt.
We shall definately go back next year, beware at Corfu Airport they charge what they want for excess luggage it went from 5Euro to 15 per kilo in a matter of half an hour.

My partner and I stayed at Andromeda...
10 / 10
Sep 2007, Miss Sam Chesterman

My partner and I stayed at Andromeda for 1 week, which just wasn’t long enough we wish we had gone for 2. After arriving in Corfu (we were delayed) we arrived at the Andromeda at 7 am to be met and greeted by the one and only 'Billy'; all I can say is he is the best, anything you need he will provide, nothing is too much trouble, 'Alex' is exactly the same.
We had an apartment for the week we stayed there (311) which was superb, huge place for the two of us and could quite easily accommodate a family, we were more than happy with our room. Nice big bedroom, with a balcony and then dining area kitchen and living area with another balcony downstairs. Also two bathrooms one on each floor, it was just great. Our only problem with the room was the mozzie's, my partner only got two bites, but I had a fair few. I didn’t use anything on the first night which was when I got bitten, but I did for the rest of the holiday, no more bites after that.
Food at the Andromeda is very good, everything nice and fresh and they offer a very good menu. The supermarket on site is only small but again he has everything you could possibly need.
All in all we had our best ever holiday, and would love to return here, we would go for two weeks next time though. Do not hesitate to book to go here; you will not be disappointed.

If you've booked for the Andromeda...

Sep 2007, Mr C Mason

If you've booked for the Andromeda you have nothing to worry about, just like all the other reviews we found it to be perfect.
Billy and all the family are very friendly, the hotel and rooms are spotless, pool and grounds beautiful. The best and only place to eat is the Bikolis Taverna, which is left out of the hotel and the first Taverna on the left (approx 150 metres). It's run by Eleni & Niko who are two lovely people and Niko is a superb chef. We ate there every night which is something we've never done before and every dish we sampled was delicious.

Arrived and greeted by an excellent host (Billy) what a welcome my husband and I had when we arrived.
Apartment was very clean a spacious, Greek night was excellent too.
We were only there for a week (honeymooners!!) didn’t want to go and have already priced up for going next year.
Food and entertainment was great, Alex the barman is very nice and the whole family made us feel very welcome.
Can’t wait to go back next year. Definitely recommend the Corfu Adromeda to anyone who enjoys good food, entertainment and a relaxed atmosphere.

What a fantastic place and the same...

Aug 2007, Mrs C Palmer

What a fantastic place and the same goes for Billy, Alex and Billy's family.
If you've read all the previous reviews, then there's very little I can add. My husband and I stayed with our two girls aged 11 and 8 for two weeks in the school holidays. We have never ended a holiday feeling sad to be returning home before, but this year was different!
Our thanks to our wonderful hosts for making our stay so enjoyable. Billy is a sweetheart and Alex always has a smile and the odd joke to play!
Andromeda is a haven of tranquillity, which makes everyone relax. The apartments are spotlessly clean, we had a two storey apartment, which had two bathrooms and two balconies’s both facing the pool. Clean linen and towels everyday and they even washed up our dishes if we'd been too lazy to do it that morning!
Andromeda is away from the town of Sidari, which in my view is a good thing. It’s walkable, but I'd recommend a taxi in the dark, the taxi drivers are loonies and with no pavements we didn't risk it! Just 5 Euros from the taxi rank in town back to Andromeda. Takes 2 minutes, well, depending whose driving, one night I think we probably did it in 0.5 seconds, who needs white knuckle rides!!!
Sunset beach bar was nice for a change one evening, like the name says, wonderful view as the sun goes down. To avoid the busy town at night, turn right out of Andromeda then 1st left towards Canal D'Amour, a twenty minute stroll takes you past some lovely taverna's and eventually you'll arrive at the sea front.
Billy takes great pride in his hotel and deserves the 10/10's everyone has awarded Andromeda on this review page.
One of our most enjoyable holidays ever. We're looking forward to returning one day to see our dear hosts again.

What an amazing, fantastic,...

Aug 2007, Mr Michael Hurst

What an amazing, fantastic, tremendous place to visit! Not just because of the superb, spacious apartments set in the middle of beautiful surroundings “a jewel in the crown” of Peroulades, but also because Billy, the owner, is so very special – you know that don’t you Billy?
From the moment you set foot in his Hotel, Billy does his utmost to ensure you have the perfect holiday. Nothing is too much trouble. Wherever there is laughter – and there is plenty of that – you can be sure Billy is not far away. He runs the place like clockwork and is very particular about cleanliness. He even sacked the cleaners on the day we arrived because they did not clean behind the cupboards in the apartment!
This is a family run hotel and you are certainly made to feel part of the family when you stay here. We even joined in a christening celebration on our second night.
The Hotel itself is far enough away from Sidari to provide you with a peaceful holiday, yet close enough (5 euros in Taxi) to enable you to get to the many bars, restaurants and, if you are young enough, the nightclubs. The restaurant/bar is run by Alex, who always makes you feel welcome and is great company. They do a wide selection of meals and snacks, which are served all day. The Greek night (Saturday) is a must if you stay here. Do not miss it. We were fortunate enough to get 2 Greek nights in during our stay.
We tried many restaurants but the best by far is called Bikolis which is about 100 metres from the Andromeda. It is run by a lovely family and their home made bread is to die for. Try the fresh fish and the chicken/pork roasted on the spit over charcoal.
The Three Brothers Hotel, in the centre of Sidari, did an excellent BBQ night with 3 courses and as much as you could eat for 12 euros. A visit to the Panorama restaurant/bar on Sunset beach (20 mins walk from the Andromeda) is definitely not to be missed as you can watch the sunset while you have a cold beer.
Our teenage son and daughter (16 & 17) both said that this was the best holiday they had ever had and that Billy was the nicest person in the world. We can honestly say as a family that this has been a wonderful holiday and can thoroughly recommend the Hotel Andromeda to anyone. You cannot fail to have a great time, whatever your age.

Just got back from a little piece of heaven called Corfu andromeda hotel, everything about this hotel is perfect don’t have to leave the hotel at all.
Billy, Alex and the rest of the "family" could not have done anymore for you, everything is kept immaculate, even the walls are swept everyday. You are in such a relaxed atmosphere that everyone gets along with everyone; we made some great friends whilst we were there, first time felt sad that holiday was over.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be going back there ourselves, so watch out Billy we will be back!!! See you soon!

If you have booked to stay at the Andromeda you are in for a real treat. We have just returned from a 2 week stay and are already desperate to return! From the moment we arrived Billy, Alex and the whole family welcomed us and made our holiday magical.
It is the friendliest place we have visited and we are missing our new friends already.
Be sure to visit Nicos and Elena's taverna just up the road for a fantastic Greek meal, and spend a night at Logas Beach watching the most beautiful sunset.
The Greek nights at the Andromeda are fantastic and not to be missed and be sure to try the Strawberry Cheesecake shots that Alex makes.
We were so sad to leave our friends behind and counting down the days until we can return. We are already planning to return in October this year and honeymoon there next year!

We’ve been home for an hour, tired but feel compelled to write a short review on our holiday at the Andromeda complex, Sidari Corfu. You want select, you got it.
Clean, modern, peaceful, relaxing and style, you got it all, if you’re looking for a friendly, family holiday you can’t go wrong.
Billy and his staff welcome you like old friends and treats you like one of their own. The Greek night is a must the simple menu is excellent. In fact once you've met Billy you've made a friend for life.
Brilliant, we're going back, if only for one of Alex’s cocktails. Well done Billy and staff and thanks for making our stay so memorable. Oh and don’t forget my Christmas card.

Jun 2007, Mr David Stafford

We booked this holiday and were very pleased to see the reviews on this site. The hotel lived up to and exceeded everything we had heard.
We arrived at 7 in the morning (1 hour late) and were greeted by Billy the hotel owner with a glass of fresh orange juice and escorted to our room.
The room was immaculate and by far the best we have stayed in. Billy is a fantastic host and nothing is too much trouble the Greek night is well worth staying in for and joining in with (check out the photos in reception).
There just is not enough good things that can be said about the Corfu Andromeda, however we never visit the same place twice but within 5 days of getting home we have booked to go back next May. What more can be said.
Thanks for a truly great holiday.
David and Tracey.

Jun 2007, Miss V Wood

08/06/2007 - 16/06/2007
Myself and my sister visited Sidari in Corfu for a week in June. We stayed in the Andromeda hotel where we were greeted on arrival at 3.30am with a glass of orange juice by the hotel owner Billy.
He then showed us to our room which was very pleasant and consist of everything needed. inc hairdryer, towels and toilet roll (complimented as we were self catering).
There was a lovely sized pool with free sunloungers and a small pool for any children staying. Also a pool side bar which sold a variety of food and drinks and mini market on site. Cleanliness was a priority to Billy and couldn’t be faulted.
Billy and his family were very welcoming and made our stay a very enjoyable one. Gyannie the barman was the highlight of entertainment and would have a laugh with all the guests including ourselves. on the Saturday night Billy has a Greek night where everyone joins in and tries to do a little Greek dancing.
Our hotel rep Colette was lovely and extremely helpful.
We went on a couple of trips. on the Sunday we visited Aqualand, where we were picked up and greeted by a Thomas cook rep, Wednesday we went on a bbq cruise.
Would recommend it! again we were greeted by a rep and taken by coach to the boat, we then travelled to a private deserted island where we had a bbq and sunbathe. Also we could jump off the boat and have a swim in the middle of the sea.
The beach in Sidari was about 40 minutes away, but a taxi was 5 Euros if you didn’t want to walk. There are a variety of shops restaurants and bars with fantastic nightlife along the beach front. You can hire a pedelo for 8 Euros for an hour (must do before you go).
However if you turn left and visit sunset beach you can watch the sunset whilst sat having a drink in the bar and restaurant on the sea cliff. Very romantic for couples!
We were very sad to be leaving and miss Billy, Gyannie and everyone else at the Andromeda. Will definitely be visiting the Andromeda hotel again and can’t wait to get back.
