Well I have just returned back from a 2 week holiday in Sidari at the Andromeda Hotel and what a fantastic time me and the family had.
The apartments are outstanding and the staff are just fantastic, happy to help you when ever you need them. The cleaners come into you apartments everyday and are real hard workers.
There was nothing I could fault with this holiday, and I would strongly recommend anyone to go visit the hotel and the area.
I am looking forward to going back later in the year.
Happy holidays!!
Amanda

Just returned from andromeda apartments today and wanted to say what a great holiday we had. These apartments are first class and all the staff were extremely helpful. We had a one bedroom apartment. Plenty of room for three adults and a small baby. The apartment was duplex style and had two balconies. The room was cleaned every day. The only down side was the walk into sidari. This was approx. 40mins but knowing this i still strongly reccommend these apartments. We will certainly be back.

Where do i start? We had an amazing holiday!! First impressions are always what you go on and what can i say we were greeted at 5.30am by Billy with a glass of orange juice and a cake. We knew we were going to like it here. The rooms were lovely very spacious and cleaned reguarly, always fresh towels and clean sheets. The pool was lovely aswell cleaned every day and a nice size. We ate the food there quite alot aswell it was really nice, decent portions and served to you quickly. To be honest we spent alot of our time at the andromeda, we went into sidari and discovered the various beachs which were beautiful but we enjoyed being at the bar or by the pool too much. Billy and Nikolas were so friendly we definitely had many laughs with them, they were always smiling and were so helpful recommending places to go, what to try and what to avoid. There was always something to do....... for example the greek night which i had to dress up in and dance infront of everyone, so funny! Billy makes sure everyone is entertained and happy with everything, if you have ever got a problem or need anything Billy will make sure he sorts it for you. It caters for all ages aswell, welcoming for families, young and older couples and groups of friends. We loved the music, it varied reguarly for everyones tastes from recent music to classics and even some greek music! All in all we loved our stay at the andromeda, our best holiday we will definitely be going back and hopefully for longer we didnt want to leave after 7 days. Web miss Billy and Nikolas already. We would recommend anybody to stay there!! Kim and Gary xxx

we stayed at the andromeda for one week which went far too quickly. Our room was nice, spacious enough and cleaned every day.Pool area is great plenty of loungers however by the end of our week alot of them were broken. The cleaner came into our room one day without knocking and were still in bed, luckily not up to anything!after that we left our key in the door. Air con is available but at 70 euro per week too expensive. Billy is very attentive always there to help.He let us use his telephone to contact my son who was holidaying in Tunisia. If you need anything for your room he gets it straight for you and the english bar staff are lovely (margaret and chris)Thanks for the efficient service. If your coffee is too strong just say and its sorted. Prices are a bit high for some drinks and snacks arn't cheap either so we didn't stay every evening. Also billy likes the music loud which really spoils you having a nice chilled day or night in the bar area. We asked for it to be turned down but if billy was in it went back up again. We did the greek night which was good, all up dancing but at the end the music was so loud it was distorted(under billys control). All in all a lovely place to stay but some simple improvements can be made, suppose it would be the same no matter where you stayed. its only about 25 mins walk to sidari itself or few mins taxi drive(always 5 euros). Plenty of food and drink available. The three little pigs was our favourite, along with BED and the bar next door which both go out onto the beach and very relaxing in the day time.

Stayed at the andromeda for two weeks. The room was basic but light and tidy. Biggest problem for us was the noise. Thomas Cook describe the apartment as being in a quiet location... which it was. However it failed to add that loud music and singing is encouraged until 2 am. Some of the rooms are only 10 metres away from the open air bar area and so the music is overpowering.
I know some guests like this but many of us there during our stay didn't! The only way we could shield ourselves from this was to pay for air conditioning and shut the doors and windows (And we were in one of the rooms 100metres away from the bar! and air conditioning cost almost £10 per night! What a rip off!) During the day music is also played loudly, which Billy thinks people want but i'm sure a little market research would show him to be wrong. (I think because many of the bars in the scruffy town of Sidari play music he feels the need to copy.)
The message is simple ... if you want peace and quiet DON'T go to the Andromeda

Well, here it goes!
This was my return trip as i previously stayed in the Andromeda back in June 2007, when i saw it in the brochure i knew that was the place i wanted to stay in, so when we went back this year we didnt even question where we were going to go, we walked straight into Thomas Cook and said Sidari, 2 weeks in June at the Andromeda! Sorted.
When we arrived, we thought billy didnt recognise us, but how wrong were we!
Billy made a beeline for us and was glad to see us!
After getting settled, we knew what we wanted to do, chill out, straight out to the pool, which is cleaned every morning and night, we love this place as it is set just outside of Sidari itself, a nice peaceful little walk into town which helps clear the cobwebs from the night before, for 26, im not one of these out all night party people, i like a quiet night in too which is great at billy's, but when i wanna party, i party! i have had 2 birthdays out there now, my 24th and 26th and we celebrated in style, this year, billy took us into sidari and spoilt us! Hospitality from everyone was great, and sometimes when my partner and myself went back to these bars during the day, they remembered us and free drinks were offered!
we came to the conclusion that the prices havent changed much since we were last there, and we always thought billy's was resonable on price, if you want stupidily cheap then go into town and drink as much as you can, but hope your prepared to be hassled by street sellers!
The Andromeda is a family run hotel and everyone helps out, its clean and cool, set out of town for that bit of relaxation and piece of mind from the road if you take kids, where other hotels have their pools right on the roadside which should really be a no go if you have kids!
We never have any problems at billys, have recommended it to lots of friends and will always go back for many years to come, if anyone wants to give this hotel a bad rating, then go ahead, im sure that you were out to pick faults with your holiday to start with! but i know that billys will always be my second home, i love this place so much, and im miss billy! Hopefully i may get to go back and have a greek wedding!!!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Andromeda last September, and we couldn't wait to return for two weeks this September for our Anniversary. We were not disappointed. We have fallen in love with Peroulades... the welcomes from Billy at Andromeda, Niko and Eleni at Bikolis, and Yanni, the amazing Greek cuisine, the quiet, calm lifestyle and the spectacular sunsets.
We have more than one holiday per year, but one will always be spent at Andromeda with our superb host, Billy. We have already booked for next September.

This was our first time in Corfu and having seen the reviews here, were expecting a great holiday - we were not disappointed! The apartments were lovely - clean, bright and a swimming pool not next to the road (which seemed to be the 'norm' in Sidari). Billy, TJ and Valentino were very welcoming and made our holiday. We will definately be back!
The apartments were swept and mopped every day and the towels changed after 3 days - we couldn't have faulted the cleanliness. We did not find we needed any air conditioning as the room was always cool. Whilst the apartments are about 20 mins walk out of Sidari (which we did most days without any difficulty), this is exactly what we wanted. This way you can choose whether to go in for the busy nightlife or not. To be honest, after having our meals in the evening, I was more than happy to get back to the quiet of the Andromeda.
The Sunset Beach at Peroulades is spectactular - I have not visited a more beautiful beach on any of my previous holidays. The beach and water was clean and the view gorgeous. I highly recommend a visit to the Panorama restaurant here, with great food and an even better sunset. One of my lasting memories. Bikolis, as stated in other reviews, is also well worth a visit and is less than 5 mins walk from the apartments.
I have already recommended these apartments to a friend and would have no problems recommending anyone else.

Just got back from a weeks stay at Andromeda with my partner. A lovely hotel and ran by great people. The pool is really nice and they have lots of things around the pool for you e.g lilo's etc. There are alot of mosi's and all kinds of bugs out there.. i brought the plug to keep mosquitos out which worked a treat. The pool bar food is nice and a fair price. I found drinks anywhere in Sidari are a little expensive compared to some places i have been. The rooms are nice but the only let down would be the maids. If you leave anything on the floor they will just mop round it, they didnt change our beds sheets the whole time we stayed and they also didnt change our towels the whole time we were there. Other than that i cant fault the hotel. Andromeda is about a 25-30minute walk in to the main strip. U can easily walk this. Some people have said the roads get to dark to walk down but if you go a certain way they are lite up. If you were to get a taxi it will cost you 6 euros for a 3 mintue drive in to town which i think is a lot. They try to fool with buy one get one free but really your paying for the price of two drinks anyway. The PR people are pretty in your face to. Me and my partner went to sunset beach which is a must..it is lovely down there and really beautiful views. Our holiday rep said it was about a 40minute walk..it takes about 15minutes and it is all sign posted. We also went on Theo's boat trip which was amazing!! well worth the money. Emma the rep at Andromeda is lovely and will help you out with anything. Overall a brillent holiday..i would go back to Andromeda.
