Absolute crap!!! The staff was not helpfull at all! When we decided to move out, for 3 nights before our reservation was ended we have been refused TO GET OUR MONEY BACK!!!!!!!! WE HAVE LOST 577.50 EURO or 700 USD. Location is pure ----, dangerous and very criminal. THE ADVICE: NEVER EVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!!!! NEVER!!!

The hotel itself is totally fine, and within 10 mins walk to the main attractions... but the first 3 minutes of that walk is through seedy streets with lots of (aparently) out of work guys hanging around streetcorners. The hotel is in the middle of one of Athens immigrant neighborhoods, and I hold no prejudice, but they're very poor and it's easy to stick out like a sore thumb. I'm a guy and felt a bit nervous, and I would say that individuals and certainly unnacompanied girls should think twice before booking this hotel.

I visited Athens in September of 2005 and stayed at Hotel Jason Prime. The hotel does smell of cigarette skome, but the smell does not come into the rooms. The rooms are a nice size and very well kept. The bathrooms are a nice size. I thought the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The morning breakfast was basic but makes a great start to the the day. The only down side of the hotel is the location. The whole hotel "reeks" of cigarette smoke. Although its clean, breakfasts were good, but the lobby and the hallways are permeated with the smell of cigarette smoke. Anyways, the whole country reeks of cigarette smoke! But if your sensitive to this unpleasant odor (like myself) then find another hotel and don't forget to ask for an non smoking room.

We landed here after the hotel we had reservations for screwed us (the Cypria Hotel). Thing is, this was MUCH better. The hotel was renovated with a very nice, kind of Zen atmosphere. Minimalistic is the main decoration accent throughout the property. Rooms are very well appointed. Good ligthting and very nice sheets. Bathrooms are really packed with all the goodies, and spacious.
