We enjoyed our holiday despite the resorts shortcomings. A major disappointment was the closeness of the sunbeds, most of the time you had to slide to the end of your sunbed as you couldn't fit between each one.The accommodation was clean and comfortable. We went all inclusive and meal time was hetic to say the least, we always found something to eat though that we liked but unable to relax as everyone was rushed, overall what we expected for what we paid.
On our return home we realized we had left some clothing in our room, we telephoned the hotel twice who informed us that only some of our items had been found, one expensive item in particular had not, we realize this was our own fault but the hotel should have been able to return the items as we had informed them on the evening we left.
There was very little communication with staff even in the restaurant and if you wanted a drink in the evening on their veranda you had to walk to the other side of the resort and then was only served in plastic cups.I think they need to look at their customer service if they want people to return!

Where do i start!
Firstly we came home today from a 7 night all inclusive stay - a group of 15 adults and kids from 16mths to 61yrs and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Anyone that moans about this place needs must need their head examining as it is exactly as described on web sites and brochures.
It is clean, modern, spacious, welcoming, relaxing etc etc etc
The staff are very friendly and helpful
Food is buffet and yes you do get given a time slot for your meals but this helps keep the restaurant from becoming like a cattle market and works fine - if you dont like the time given they will change it no problems.
Loads of choice from soups, salads, fish, chicken, paella, steak, pork, burgers, sauages, jacket potatoes, chips, pasta, bread, pizza, and even a seperate kids buffet with nuggets, sausages, mash, chips, pasta etc. Loads of yummie puddings, cakes, fruit, ice cream, crepes and it was different everynight we were there. Best meal was breakfast with full english, croisants, pasties, fruit, cereals, breads and juices.
Self service for all soft drinks and wine & beer from restaurant and pool bars.
Plenty of beds for sun bathing which are un chained at 8.30am to stop people hogging them at 5am!
All day entertainment for all ages like water polo, aqua aerobics, mini golf, craft club, water disco, killer pool, football etc
Mini disco for kids at 8pm followed by tribute acts, parrot shows, magician or bird of prey show each night.
Rooms are clean modern and spacious. We had a 2 bed apt which had a large main bedroom and a seperate twin room with its own onsuite shower room. Good size kitchen, lounge/diner and another bathroom. Only downside is the sofa bed in the lounge is only a fold up campbed suitable for up to 11 yr old really.
yes there are lots of steps but it clearly states that in brochure so why do peopel moan! We had 3 buggies with us and it was never a problem.
Free bus to beach shops 6 days a week or 6-8 euros in a taxi.
We were very sad to leave and are looking into returning next year but for longer than a week as it goes far too quickly!

Myself and my family have just returned from a week in the Oasis Golf resort and it was fantastic, we used this as our honeymoon, the food was first class and fantastic.
the apparments were good but air con would have made them evan better, entertainment was as good as any other package holiday, but location could have been better but was only a short taxi ride into playa which would cost aprox 6 euros.
dDont listen to other reviews as we had a great time, loads of beer loads of FANTASTIC food loads of sunshine what more could you ask for.
It was also great for the kids providing a safe place for them to play and swim aged 3 and 6 we are going back next year....

For everyone who is rating the oasis golf resort high, they must have been walking about with there eyes closed. Me and my Boyfriend were there for 1 week (all inclusive). Before booking this holiday it clearly states on the web site that the oasis golf resort is 4 star......untill you get there it then states outside that it is only 3 key!!!! First impressions when we arrvied were good untill a few days into the holiday.
3 Days into the holiday the pool got closed but staff didnt bother to tell us it would be closing for a further week while they cleaned it (apparently)! When we asked at reception when it would be opening back up they told us that we could use another hotels pool but all inclusive would not be included in this. We also had to find out off people we met on holiday that you could go to a place at the beach and get free drinks with the rist band oasis golf resort give you, but again the staff didnt bother to inform us of this.
For your breakfast that is at half 9 - 10 o'clock and every morning all the food is the same. At lunch the time is 2 o'clock till half 2, the food is mostly the same, there is a diffrent soup every day such at fish soup, garbish, tomato and vegetable. Dinner is also the same selection of food everyday and you have to wait till 8 o'lock to have ur dinner (this is also the time entertainment starts so by the time ur finshed there isnt any steats avilable). On one occasion on the last day at lunch i found a hair in my soup. When i informed one of the staff about this they took the hair to the chef came bak and told us it wasnt....when clearly it was. The hygiene of the food area isnt good atall. Children are allowed to run around lifting food up and putting it bak down witht there hands. I even seen 1 child put the ice cream scoop in there mouth and put it back again. Most foods are pasta and meat. Also during the day you can only have a cheese and ham sandwhich and 3 choices of cakes that are out in the open and do not have a plastic container over them to stop the flys from getting to them!!!
The all incusive drinks are very waterd down and was cheap sirits, if you wanted a good brand of alchol you had to pay an extra 4 euro for 1.
All drinks stopped getting served at 11 o'clock at night.
The entertainment wasnt good atall either and because we didnt get our dinner till 8 o'clock we couldnt get a seat so we purchased satilite televison at 35 euro for a week. Only when we got bak to the room, it didnt work. We called reception and they told us they would send some1 round to fix it, then they phoned saying no1 could come round and says it would be fixed the next day...only the next day it didnt get fixed...so when we went to reception i got the impression that they just couldn't be bothered with us and basically were just tellin us a load of rubbish just to get rid of us. Eventually someonce came round to fix it and 2 mins after he left it broke again. So at night we ended up having to go out for drinks and entertainment!
Also during the day the same music got played over and over again! I decided to go for a massage that cost 20 euro to find tht during it the woman just just rubbing baby oil into my back...Being someone who does beauty therapy at college i found it shocking at all she was doing was rubbing baby oil onto my skin.
Theres also a shop you can put credit on your room card and we found teh shop very expensive. We also found ourselfs going into the shop to buy food to cook because the food was so bad that you were givin for all inclusive. Over all we spent 70 to 80 euro in this shop and only had 2 lie lows super noodles bread and cookies to show for it.
On the last day you have to be out your room by 11 and our bus didnt come till 7 at night!!
I just dont see what anyone could find good about this resort, i was very unhappy with it and wouldnt reccomend it to anyone!!!!

We would have rated this hotel as okay were it not for the two thefts we had of our property from our 'safe' at reception. There was no forced entry and the only other keys were kept by the staff. We reported the thefts to staff but they were not interested, telling me it could not happen. With both of us being police officers, we know when our property has been stolen!
We informed the local police who are currently looking into it.
When we first arrived, our overall impressions were good, although the bathroom was manky and in need of a good scrub but were alarmed by the number of locks on the patio doors of the apartments and warnings by staff of recent robberies in the area. Now we know by who!!
There are safes in each apartment but they are all 'broken' and guests have to hire (among everything else) a safe in what can only be described as a 'sweat box' next to the reception desk. This is not helped by the fact there is no air con anywhere in the hotel. The best you get is a noisy, rattly fan in the bedroom.
The light-fingered night porter has obviously ample opportunity to lock him or herself in the safe room and help themselves to a 10 or 20 euro note from guests' safes, probably without anyone being aware. They got greedy and took 100 and 420 from our safe during their grubby little thefts, whilst disturbing other property of ours, alerting us right away.
Our complaint to the management fell on deaf ears and it makes me wonder if they know about it as after I reported the theft to them, the CCTV camera above reception was moved away from covering the safe room door.
If you are seriously considering going to this hotel even after looking at all the other reviews, then good luck.
To everyone else, avoid like the plague as this type of theft is very hard to stop and will continue unless the staff get very careless.
You have been warned!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! We had the time of our lives during our two week stay! Our 5 year old daughter loved kids entertainment and mini discos. We had no probs with any part of complex and the people on here that are havin a moan are obviously the type that nobody can please and that are only happy when complaining! Place was clean, food was nice but we did eat out occasionally as is that not wot hols are for! no probs with gettin drinks or having to que. And the people who get up at half 4 to get sunbeds must be very sad! we went down at half 8ish most mornings and had no problem getting sunbeds! We will be booking again for next year!

I have read all the reviews, I am a very hard working class person who always looks for value for money and normally complain if I do not get full value.
I agree with all the high rating reviews entirley.I even booked my 2009 holiday in the first week of my recent holiday.
I would like to take this oppurtunity and thank all staff including reception, restaurant, cleaning, entertainment and even the gardening and maintainance and look forward to seeing you all again next year.
Sorry I did have just one complaint and that my two week, fantastic holiday, went to quickly but I do not think any body can do anything about that.
Once again thanks to everbody at th Oasis Golf, keep up the good work and see you all next year.

This was the best holiday i have ever had!! The resort was clean and friendly with taxis directly outside so you can ride to the nearby beaches, shopping or Playa de las Americas if you prefer lively nighlife. The golf resort looked beautiful but i did not use it which proves this hotel is great for families too. The daytime entertainment was good and we participated in aquagym with a very nice woman. The food was of an excellent standard and as good variety as you can expect from an all inclusive. The toasties available from 11 till 1 were very popular as were the doughnuts from 4. The accomodation was clean and big and the second bedroom had an en suite. We also were given a private roof terrace as we had a 2 bedroomed appartment. There were lots of families and we met lots of people aged 14-16 and could go to the park and keep out of everyone's way. Younger children could go in the games room where their parents could see them whilst watching the evening entertainment outside. This was great as there was lots of room although some nights i wanted to cover my ears. The pools were great and the sunbed system where they were chained up until 9 o'clock worked well with help setting them out. Drinks were unlimited through the day and the hot chocolates with lots of cream were a big hit with all the teen group we were in. I could not have created a better facility for an amazing holiday myself and after all a holiday is what you make it and this resort is a great basis. Unforgettable!

having read other comments on the site i can only conclude that there must be two hotels with the same name as i cannot see that anyone staying at this hotel would give it a high rating.
i agree that on first glance the hotel looks clean and the reception staff were friendly however this was short lived. not being one to complain we gave the hotel a chance putting up with the unchanging music from the mini disco, the low qaulity out dated shows of the evening entertainment(many of which were repeated during the two week programme), beer pumps going off at the same time every night (up to 2 hours on occasion), the quest for sun beds (needed to up by 4 am to get one )and the bland boring repetative menu at the restraurant.
however six days in after waiting three days off waiting for a green slime pool to be cleaned off the roof terrace (even though repeated requests were made to reception) and then witnessing one of the staff at the display cooking sneeze into her hands and the continue cooking with out washing her hands, i decided to speak to the manager myself as complaints seemed to fall on death ears at reception.
the manager did try to make things better. he chained the beds up and put on extra pumps at the bar to stop the beer going off, he also had harsh words for the cleaning and maintainence staff, as they said they had sorted out the terrace balcony and electrical lamps hanging off in my apartment, they didnt bank on him checking it with me as none of it had been done.
unfortunatly after we complained ta the manager there wasnt a day during the remainder of the holiday that either my room or my partners room were left without fresh towels to shower making us late on occasion for the very restrictive meal timings impossed on arrival.
the entertianment did not change even though the entertianments manager gave us assurances that some sort of entertainment would be programmed in for young teenagers (we were travelling with 5 girls aged between 11 and 14) after we waited a further four days we approached the entetainment manager again which only resulted in her avoiding us and the issue for the rest of our stay there. we had no alternative to seek entertainment outside the hotel to try and salvage something of what was turning intoa dissappointing holiday at extra expense.
every time we were at reception there seemed to be someone complainig about food, cleaning, loutish behaviour of children allowed to do what they wanted by thier parents security and other staff. there were people opting out off allinclusive some payin out more to move hotels and many like ourslelves counting the days to go home as the holiday couldn't end quick enough.
overall a total washout of a holiday due to poor food, poor entertainment, low standards of hygiene / cleaning.we left feeling that wehad been been robbed as the hotel came nowhere near the four stars that it advertises itself as and what we payed for.

Given time slots for your breakfast/lunch and dinner but found out after a couple of days could alter them if required. Food could have been better with more to choose from and kids meals need to be looked at. Apartments lovely but watch the steps going down from the front door when you open it, too close for comfort. Bathroom and toilet never clean during the two weeks we were there, complained but never got seen to. The first week had to get up at 4.15am to put towels on beds, only a few remaining!. Second week, people must have compained because they started chaining the beds up and opening the locks at 8.30am, which was better. Could have done with more chairs and a bigger stage for the evening. We sat down by the large swimming pool but for us it was better, no hussle and bussle. But apart from that we had a brilliant hoilday and the kids enjoyed themsleves. Its what you make of it in the end!

WE TOO WERE A LITTLE WORRIED BY SOME OF THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS WE READ BEFORE GOING TO THIS RESORT, HOWEVER, WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. WE SPENT 2 WEEKS THERE IN JUNE. THE APARTMENT WAS VERY NICE, WITH A SEA VIEW.
THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE STEPS GOING DOWN TO THE BEDROOM, JUST INSIDE THE FRONT DOOR,WE HAD OUR 2 YEAR OLD FALL DOWN A FEW STEPS ON THE FIRST NIGHT.WE ONLY ATE IN THE RESTAURANT ONCE, WE WERE A LITTLE SURPRISED BY THE LACK OF CHOICE. THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY, ENTERTAINMENT OK. POOLS WERE EXCELLENT.BIT OF A TREK TO TOWN, BUT WE LOST A FEW POUNDS IN WEIGHT!!
WE WOULD STAY AT OASIS AGAIN, HOWEVER, ENTERTAINMENT IN THE EVENING FOR THOSE WITH YOUNG KIDS, IN TOWN IS LIMITED.
TO SUM UP-LOVELY HOTEL, SHORT OF THINGS TO DO IN THE EVENING FOR THOSE WITH YOUNG ONES.
