Sunpoint Aparthotel
A beautiful building, constructed in modern Turkish style in a tiered and terraced effect, Sunpoint Aparthotel is well located to avail of all the amenities of this very lively resort. Approx. 5 mins. walk to the resort's sandy beach the property is about 15 mins. walk from all the bars, cafes, lokantas and restaurants in Gumbet. The local dolmus also operates nearby for easy access to Bodrum and more hectic nightlife!

I have just returned from a weeklong stay in the Sunpoint Apartments and it was fantastic.
The staff were lovely, the apartments had everything we needed and the complex was beautiful.
Fattih the barman was excellent with my family and young child and they all went out of their way to help us. They arranged a day trip to Turgetreis market for us including private transport and a member of staff to help us with our bags etc, at half the price of a taxi and even dropped us to the airport at a discounted price.
I would highly recommend this complex to all.
There are a lot of steps to be negotiated but the staff will always give a hand with bags, buggy's etc and it does say in the holiday brochures, that it is in an elevated position.

It was our third time returning to sun point and it gets better every year! It was a perfect holiday with friendly staff and good accommodation!
The bar man (fabio, alex or whatever he wants to call himself)was always up and about dancing and singing and talking to you and basically just having a laugh with you!!! Ozi the security man was always there whenever you came home and made sure everything was ok!! The whole lot of the staff where very friendly and I can’t wait to return!!! I wouldn’t choose anywhere but sun point again!

Accommodation was brill, we asked for a low ground apartment and we got what we asked for. They were cleaned every couple of days and the cleaners were very friendly. As an added extra they put flower petals on the bed which was a nice gesture. The food was always lovely and the chef was good crack.
The pool area was very good as you had your own sun shader and the pool was not too cold. Top marks to the bar man as he was the always up for a laugh, talking to people and just made you feel welcome.
Even the security guard was up for a laugh and always messing about. Overall the staff, accomodation, facilities were brill. We would advise anyone going to Turkey to stay at the sunpoint.

This was our 2nd year staying in Gumbet but our 1st year in the Sunpoint. We had a brilliant 2 weeks there and it was all thanks to the staff and location.
The rooms were cleaned twice a week, with fresh sheets if you ever needed them. The food in the bar was excellent, and very reasonable and the staff were so entertaining! They were so pleasant and were always there to help if ever you needed it! Each sun lounger by the pool had its own umbrella, and they were extremely comfortable to lie on.
The apartment complex itself was kept very clean, and there is a very comfortable tv room where you can relax in away from the heat outside! There is a really happy vibe about the place all the time! We are looking into going back there in August we enjoyed our stay there so much!

This will be our 3rd year returning to Gumbet and staying in the sun point resort. We find it close to all the major attractions. The staff are really friendly and would be happy to help you with anything on or off duty.
They couldn’t do enough for you. The food is lovely and really cheap. The rooms are cleaned twice a week and fresh flowers are left on your bed. If intending to holiday in Gumbet.
I would highly recommend the sun point as it caters for all age groups especially families with young children and young people on holiday for a good time as it is not as overcrowded as other hotels. Just make sure you don’t forget to pack extra towels and toilet paper as you will find no hotel in turkey supplies them.

I have recently returned from a holiday in Gumbet Turkey, were we stayed in the Sunpoint Aparthotel. After reading various good reviews on this accommodation on the internet I thought that we had booked nice apartments, well was I wrong...
I would not recommend Sunpoint to anyone. When we arrived our room was really dirty, I complained to reception & they sent someone to clean & it when we returned it was still dirty after they supposedly cleaned it. We had to wash the floor ourselves with our t-shirts. If you seen the dirt of the cleaners in the complex you would wonder how they could clean a room. In 2 weeks our room was cleaned once, with sheets changed.
They do not supply you with towels or toilet roll, which I think is very unhygienic. Our room was at the very top of the complex and there was 135 steps, so it was tough in 50 degree heat. The reception staff were helpful and moved us on our second week, so we only had 60 steps. The food is poor and the eating area beside the pool bar is dirty, you can see into the kitchen were they cook the food and it also looks dirty. The staff are very slow and in no hurry to serve you or to clean the tables. There was never any toilet roll at the pool toilets. The whole complex was just dirty.
Besides for our nightmare accommodation, we had a great Holiday in Gumbet, we didn’t spend any time in the Sunpoint, we had friends staying in the Magnific hotel and we sunbathed, ate and drank down there, the Magnific is a lovely hotel and I would highly recommend this. We really loved Gumbet and we will definitely be returning to Gumbet.. (but not the Sunpoint...)
