Mini Star Hotel

I stayed at this really lovely little family hotel about 5years ago (doesn’t let you say that in the date section) with my daughter and her fiancé on a half board.
The Owners and staff were wonderful ...very hospitable in the way that most Turkish are.
The food was excellent and the rooms were comfortable. You had to pay extra for any air conditioning. We didn't and just used the fan but it was noisy.
The grounds though small were well kept with a pretty garden surrounding the pool. The swimming pool was quite small but big enough to enjoy a relaxing swim in the afternoon.
The hotel is situated on a hill with lovely views of surrounding hills, with a 3 minute walk to the seafront where you can find a beautiful beach.
Bitez is a lovely quiet little town that is fast developing but not in the same way as its neighbours of Gumbet and Bodrum (worth a visit if you want a bit of night life).
You will only find one very large hotel on the sea front that is definitely worth a visit at night for the wonderful outdoor buffet dinner at £5 for all you could eat.
We chose Bitez to take advantage of the Windsurfing schools they have and found a fantastic instructor called Rushid who owns and runs the Windrush School. Brilliant fun. Highly recommended.
Take a trip on the bus to Bodrum on the first day of your arrival and call in on one of the tour operators and try any or all of the tours going. We were not disappointed by any of them...especially the boat trips.
Anyway, to sum up I would highly recommend the Ministar if you need a quiet base with a good standard of service.
