Beautiful apartments, spacious and immaculate. All have two large bedrooms and a fully functional kitchen and dining room. We got back today after a week stay. The current management were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The apartments themselves are located about ten to fifteen minute walk to the town but are positioned in a highly residential area. It's a fair jaunt to the beach.There are local restaurants which are excellent especially the Penguim! The only fault I could find with the Giramar Apts is that their cafe does not have a listed menu with prices for you to choose and although they will go out of their way for you it is very possible that you will get a shock at the 60 euro bill for a few hamburgers compared to 10 euro up the road! There are two pools one for the tots and one larger one which is fantastic and there is a indoor games room with snooker and darts and table football at 1 euro for each to keep the kids happy! I will rate the sun at 3 as there was a lot of rain this week but we still managed to get a tan! Overall a reliable quiet complex of only twelve apartments nice and peacful. Beware of the photo though as there is a small road which you must cross to get to the paradise club and pool area. Best wishes to Paul his wife who looked after us well!I would recommend it and also please go on a dolphin trip from the local marina its about 25 euro per person and is an unforgettable experience! We used dolphin seafaris and trust me it's worth every single cent! Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

Great if you like a quiet place where you are left to your own devises, removed from the big tourist bustle. Very spacious apartments, and a well run swimming pool / snackbar that is sometimes used by local schools etc in the mornings. This gave it a nice local feel. The apartments are situated in a residential area of south Lagos, about 10 minutes walk to the beautiful rocky beach Playa Don Anna and quite close to Porto de Mos. 25min walk into central Lagos, but there are shops/ restaurants close to the apartments too.
We would definetly book into Giramar again.

Giramar Apartments was the perfect place for a nice quiet family holiday! The apartments were so clean and the air conditioning was lovely on a hot day.
Paradise Club which was the snack bar by the pool offered tasty snacks including pizzas and toasties. The town was about 25 minute walk away and had lovely shops bars and restaurants. I would definitely consider going back to Lagos as it was cheap and had lovely weather. Staff were friendly too which was a bonus.

Although the apts. were spotlessly clean and spacious this is not always what you want necessarily from a holiday. Dont be fooled by the photograph published in the budget travel brochure. There is a huge 6ft wall surrounfding the pool. there is only access to the pool area via an ally way that leads from the bar area around to the apts. If you have an Apt. on the lower floor you will not see the pool. The cover was off the pool when we arrived in the last week of may. The water was absolutely freezing. They also have a Jacuzzi and a steam room. Both were not working. The people who run the Apts also run the bar. Dont expect a warm welcome although if you get to know them they wont bite!! We wont be going back. The bar area reminded me of camping holidays in north yourkshire thirty years ago!! If youre booking a quiet family holiday dont be fooled by that either, both saturdays that we were there there was a large local childrens birthday party - not a quiet experience! Other than that it was great!
The location was good though. It was definately within walking distance of the town and lovely beaches. Largos is a beautiful town.
