Holiday Inn Verona Congress Centre Hotel

This hotel is for business people, on expense accounts. It is located in the industrial/commercial zone, about 8 Km out of the city. It's not really for tourists. Which is probably why we got an excellent deal for a three night stay so we could attend Aida at the Opera. It also co-incided with the Assumption, a public holiday in Italy, which turned out to be four day weekend. Stayed here 5 nights on a business trip. The room was clean and tidy, and staff were very friendly. However, the breakfast buffet offered could have been better. On some mornings it was fine with offerings of meat/cheese, fresh juice, pastries, cereal, and bread. On other mornings, the offerings were much less: cereal, pastry and juice.
