When we first arrived our patio door wouldn't lock and the air-conditioning unit wouldn't work but we were moved to another room swiftly and with no fuss. It was half empty in May so sun beds etc were abundant and there were parasols to every 2 beds. However a sharp wind some days made the temperature marginal to lie on a sun bed. The food was excellent, although there are also some good restaurants within walking distance, or go by cheap taxi.
Trips can be a long way on not good roads to get anywhere interesting but a motorway is going to be built to Marrakech soon. Not all the staffs' English is good, French is the main 2nd language but they appreciated me trying to resurrect my "O" level French from 35 years ago! Staff were friendly yet very courteous. Our travel rep was very young and very enthusiastic - such a refreshing change from some bored ones you see who are only interested in their commission for trips!
We may or may not return as Agadir itself isn't thrilling - perhaps we'll wait for the motorway and do a holiday there with 2-3 days in Marrakech. If we do we'll definitely return to the Dorint Palace.
