We very unimpressed with these apartments as I found that the rooms where not in very good condition and that they were not overly clean. The apartments were very noisey as I found an awful lot of young people staying with the complex and they had no respect for other... more

I went to the Coral Beach as part of a party of 4 girls for 2 weeks, and we couldn't have asked for a better location. We had a corner room on the 4th floor, and it was massive, the balcony was huge as well. We had a bedroom with twin beds, and 2 beds in the living room... more

Overbooking!!
Booked this hotel for a two week holiday for my daughter and 2 friends. Chose it from reviews on this site and others however the problem that they had was not the level of accomodation or the service at the pool bat etc...........it was basically that when they arrived, with printed hotel voucher detailing their accommodation at this hotel booked on 1st March this year, they were told in a rude manner by reception that there was no room for them here and that they were booked into the Compostela Beach hotel! A hotel they had earlier discounted whilst making a choice on accomodation! They were eventually offered a place to stay for that evening at another hotel after a long wait and many frantic phonecalls by the hotel manager. The accomodation provider or the company i booked with were not much help either, with an out of hours emergency line that really could do nothing to help at all! Anyway just a word of warning ...this is seemingly a regular occurance at this aparthotel; they double book rooms and shunt the guests off to their sister hotel with no consideration of the upset and stressed caused to all those involved! zero out of ten for customer service!
Bus mans holiday
We got home this morning from a week last minute all inclusive holiday at this hotel... we paid £801. for the two of us with first choice flying from Bristol, booked on the internet 6 days before we flew. Delays there and back and a lot of hanging around when we got there as the transfer system and rep were unwelcoming. The hotel itself is spotless, ALL staff friendly and courteous, many have worked there for a number of years. The housekeeping staff work tirelessly all through the hotel. I did as much reasearch as i could on hundreds of hotels, appreciating everyones views will be different, a holiday is what you make it. i decided on this hotel due to other reviews and comments made by the manager Daniel who i met there. As he says don't wait until your holiday is over and you have returned home and complain, if there is anything you need or are not happy with let the staff know asap. My parents have owned hotels so i would like to feel that my review is a fair guideline. Hotel spotless...everywhere....!! Food... ( i have put on 10 pounds in a week) varied filling and plentiful. Could be a little hotter (microwaves there if you want it nuked) but you must bare in mind by the time you have walked all round what there is to offer with the air conditioning on, your food will not be red hot. Advice..stroll through get a rough list of what you want, find your table get your drinks then dive in...new guests are visable by being the ones with the highest filled plate. Not necessary...go back as many times as you like, also helps your food to remain hot!!!! if you don't like get another plate and try something else. Remember you can have snacks from the bar, you don't have to go into the resturant.. if you go home having been hungry you must be a really fussy eater. i have never seen so much choice.. 6 or more types of bread, cheeses, fruit jucies, one day i counted 12 different types of fresh fruit. spanish bacon not my cup of tea but breakfast is like going to a wedding reception. Entertainment This is not the hotel for you if you like to be entertained..the boys Junior and David try to get you involved in poolside activites, we enjoyed these on the days we sat around the pool and hence we got to meet other couples and families..so give it a go.. Evenings are grim.. the guests come from all over the world so with respect pleasing everyone is hard, but when you have had your fair share of the all inclusive drinks, you will be shocked that even the bingo bongo becomes passable as entertaining. Otherwise when the inclusive finishes at 11pm if you like to party go out... overall i would recommend this hotel, if you are after a relaxing holiday and cleanliness is important to you, give it a go, we were told we wouldn't be dissapointed and we weren't. Thank you Daniel and all your staff. The only reason not to return is I have now cracked this flying business and there are so many other beautiful places to see in the world apparently, but you never know!!!
Not bad
The apartment we stayed in was a corner one and was lovely and spacious! overall room was really nice. i was very dissapointed with the lack of professional conduct within the staff. I stood at the indoor bar for 45 minutes before i even got acknowlegded and then carryed on waiting for another 10 minutes...i walked away with me hot chocolate. the staff were very ignorant. The entertainment man, Mike, was very friendly and spoke good english...unlike alot of the staff working there. The hotel is very spanish-customer orientated and if you are not spanish speaking..you come second! apart from the rudeness of alot of the staff during my weeks stay it wasnt too bad.
pleasantly surprised
I have just returned from a three night stay here and was pleasantly surprised to how nice the hotel was. it was clean , my room was spacious, the staff were helpful and friendly, the pool good, pool bar was ok and the food was perfectly adequate except for perhaps one meal i had. The only downside is lack of air conditioning but as the nights werent too warm it was quite bearable. i had a balcony over looking the road so thought it would be noisy but i slept very well as it was just a little way out , but still near to the main entertainment area.
Fab stay at the Coral Beach
We have just returned from Tenerife having stayed at the Coral Beach with a large group of friends for 4 nights. We arrived with an open mind as we had paid very little for this accomodation but we were very pleasantly surprised. The reception staff greeted us with a warm smile and check in was very efficient considering the size of our group. Our first impression was that the complex was really quiet which it was throughout our stay although I would imagine in high season it would be a lot busier. Our apartment, although a little worn, was really clean and a fantastic size - loads of space and well equipped with a huge balcony and a lovely pool view. There were two comfortable beds in the studio and a sofa and dining table and chairs. There was also a safe for peace of mind in the room as well. However the rooms are not air conditioned so can get a bit hot but you can hire fans from reception really cheaply for the week. The location of the complex was fine though if travelling with small children is a bit of a trek to the beach (Las Vistas beach is the best) but only a 10 minute brisk walk for us adults. It is quite near "The Strip" as well which was great for a few drinks after watching the dancing fountains in the Safari Centre. The good thing about this complex is that there are no really loud or rowdy bars in the immediate vicinity so no worries about being kept awake with loud music. I would definately stay here again but perhaps not if I had my kids with me.
A holiday for the younger crowd
I went for 1 week with a mate and we are both 21 HOTEL - Coral Beach Aparhotel has everything you need to put your head down at night and to laze around the pool in the day. The rooms were very big and had huge built in mirrored wardrobe which was great for getting ready. We only had two plug sockets which caused a problem when we were trying to get ready at the same time POOL - was nice and plenty of sunbeds, people do reserved beds with their towels way before 9am however I strolled down at 10.30am and still got a bed. The pool is a nice size but very deep, so you will need to float around on the lilo. The pool bar is very over priced and you can get a much nicer meal at the local restaurants for the same price. CLUBS/BARS - Pleasure island is a great place to start for drinks, although pretty pricey 10 euro for 2 drinks. Leonardos is a good place for a quiet drink before heading into the mayhem. Veronicas is good later on in the evening when you are a little drunker. BEWARE ....... You will want to kill the PR's by the end of your stay, just say you work there and they will leave you alone. Linekers is a good one for cheese, oasis bar for the more mature, Tramps for the last club you visit on the night, Met bar is good for a dance to rnb and pop. Down under bar is for those who like rock/indie and cheese, can barely dance though as its tiny. Cheapest bar for cocktails is oasis and dearest place is tramps on an event night. GENERAL - Teneriefe is aimed at the younger side of 21. Average age 19. I am 21 and felt too old to be out there.
cracking time
just returned on the 17th from the coral beach hotel ,which me and my mostly drunken geordie mates enjoyed a lot. we had a cracking time during our stay and had the biggest balcony you could imagine rooms good size to. met loads of funny and nice people there and genrally drank ourselves silly def recommend this hotel
Not so bad Just not really great!
I have just returned from a week away with my boyfriend in Tenerife. Overall we had a really great holiday but the hotel was a bit to be desired in some ways. Firstly when i booked the accomodation i asked specifically for a non-smoking room - my boyfriend has azhma. We asked to change room and got moved into one which the maid had just sprayed a can of air freshener into! We asked to move again and found out that all of the rooms are smoking rooms- this was not stated anywhere when booking and i got asked which i preffered when booking!Anyway got moved to a nice room with Sea and Pool view, it was very clean and the only thing was that the shower blew hot and cold but not so bad. The people staying at the hotel are mainly young and loud but going in July/august you would probably get that anywhere. not many children about. We went half board for the week - not reccomended plenty of other nice bars and restaurants which were very resonable in the 'Safari' shopping centre down the road- really nice there on a night. The Pool bar was a bit of a joke there are no permanent staff on there and you have to wait a long time for drinks etc. If you need any shopping from supermarkets the one in the hotel is a bit overpriced but there is one just down the road much better. One last rant is that the pool is very very deep all the way round and unless your a confident swimmer its not too great. overall the hotel wasnt too bad it's just not a 3* and more for young 'clubbers', it was great for location though just 10 mins to the beach and 5 to the 'safari' centre which is the mian place to shop and eat.
Fab Holiday
My boyfriend and I returned from our holiday in Tenerife last week. We were originally allocated a different hotel, however, upon arrival were informed that they had overbooked and we would now be staying at the Coral Beach. Having booked our holiday over the internet, I was a little apprehensive about where we would now end up staying, however, upon arriving at the Coral Beach, we were both pleasantly surprised!! The rooms were a good size and cleaned 6 out of the 7 days we were there. Although basic, they offered everything you would need for a self catering holiday and the bonus for me (as I am fussy) is that they were spotlessly clean. The pool area was ideal, plenty of sunbeds available, bearing in mind that we did go out of season, so during the "peak" season it may be busier. The pool was a decent size, the only downfall was that it was pretty much the same depth in the entire pool, so for an un-confident swimmer, it was a bit difficult trying to find somewhere to stand up. I did find one tiny corner where I could just about manage to stand up on my tip toes though/ There is a kids pool area so if you did just want to splash a bit of water on you to cool down then that would be ideal! The hotel was situated well, it was within walking distance of the beach and also the nightlife and restaurants. But wasn't so close that you heard the lively clubbers...! If I go back to Tenerife, I would choose this hotel again!!
Great Holiday!!
We were originally staying at Compostella Beach but on arrival were told by the consierge we were to stay at Coral Beach. At first we were a bit disappointed with the size of the pool but once we got used to it over the next few days we found it quite sufficient. The rooms are basic but extremely clean and the staff are very friendly. HOWEVER one thing that did put us off further visits was the safety of the room with children. We bought our 2 year old and we were on the 3rd floor. we did later find out that if we had asked we could have moved to the ground floor but we just made do! the other thing is LOCKING the room from the inside. At night we could never totally relax because our patio door (which is the same on each appartment) could only b locked by placing what looked like a brush handle on the inside of the slat between the window and the door, which if out boy had sussed out would have been horrendous!! Also the front door was locked with a simple catch which was also easy for him to open so we had to jam a chair behind!! not good if u fancy having a drink one night!! Anyway besides that the holiday was quite good. the entertainer was MAX was really good but we thought he had a lot of pressure and the shows were very repetitive!! not good if youre going for 2 weeks! Weather was gorgeous, location really good, people we met there lovely!! if u have any questions about this place please email us JaymoJ01@aol.com xx
