Reviews of St Georges Apartments, Los Cristianos

A wonderful place to visit. Lovely apartments. Very friendly. Achilles and Emma are excellent hosts. Sam and George are very good barmen. Far enough away from the main road in Sidari to be a relaxing holiday but within easy reach to walk to enjoy the busy nighttime atmosphere. Ideal place for a base, whether you want to relax by the pool throughout your stay or go out on the many trips on offer from the many travel stores available. Definately a place to revisit.

we booked a one bedroom apartment and requested a sea view and got afabulous view. our two children loved the pool . very clean apartments,close to shops restaurants and great beach. quiet location 20 mins from airport. rooms were cleaned 5 days per week with a change of towels ,bedding changed twice weekly.these are very good family apartments but because of their location would suite most people . we intend to come back here.

Booked the Saint George Apartments after reading reviews and being to Los Cristianos / Las Americas before but in different apartments. The Saint George Apartments were fantastically clean, simple, but nice rooms. There is a 5 minute walk down to the beach, and depending on which way you go a small hill, but it really doesn't matter at all. I'd reccomend them in a flash. It's quite nice that it's not used by many English tour operators (the Dutch seem to use it most). The apartments are next to a fairly busy road, but you don't really notice it when you're sitting round the pool. My only complaint is that the rooms were sooo hot at night without aircon!

JUST BACK FROM STAYING HERE.OVERBOOKING OF ORIGINAL APARTMENTS PUT US HERE AND I MUST SAY TO A BETTER LOCATION.YES THERE IS A HILL TO GO DOWN TO BEACH BUT IF YOU EXPLORE ROUND ABOUT THERE ARE EASIER WAYS TO GET AROUND WITHOUT HAVING TO COME BACK UP THAT HILL.VERY CLEAN .ONLY DOWNSIDE WE FOUND ARRIVING SAT,SHEETS AND TOWELS CHANGED SUNDAY THEN AGAIN FRIDAY ,WE WERE AWAY ON SATURDAY! MODERN APARTMENTS NOT MUCH ROOM IN SHOWER THO!OUR APT VERY BARE COMPARED TO SOME PICTURES IVE SEEN.TABLE & 4CHAIRS,SOFA-BED AND SIDEBOARD LOST IN HUGE LIVING AREA. BEDROOM PLENTY STORAGE SPACE. ONLY ONE MIRROR .IN THE BATHROOM, NOT TOO HANDY IF YOU NEEDED TO DRY YOUR HAIR WHEN OTHERS NEEDED TO SHOWER. A

COUPLE OF PICTURES WOULD EVEN HAVE HELPED FURNISH THE PLACE ,THERE WERE HOOKS ON THE WALL.POOL BAR WAS OPEN MONDAY -FRIDAY , EVEN ON THE 2 DAYS IT RAINED .RECEPTION CLOSES FOR 2 HRS IN THE AFTERNOON 2-4. NOT VERY HANDY WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT 3.20 AND HAVE TO WAIT ON SOMEONE APPEARING TO GIVE YOU KEYS. I WOULD HAVE SAID THAT WAS THE WORST THING ABOUT OUR STAY THERE. NOT MANY BRITS THERE, A LOT OF SCANDINAVIAN. AND WOULD IMAGINE IN SUMMER THERE WOULD DEFINATLY BE A FIGHT FOR SUNBEDS. I THINK WHAT PREVIOUS REPORTS SAID ABOUT A SUPERMARKET I CAN ONLY ASSUME THAT IS WHAT IS NOW A PILATES CLUB,AND THE INDOOR BAR IS STILL CLOSED. ALL IN ALL A NICE PLACE TO STAY AND THERES PLENTY GOING ON WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. WE DIDNT USE A TAXI ONCE. AND DONT MISS A TRIP TO LORO PARK.BOOK ANY TRIPS AT THE BOOKING OFFICE AT THE BACK OF THE VULCANO HOTEL FOR THE BEST PRICES. WE CHECKED OUT A FEW AND THEY CAME UP TOPS. ALSO THE STRIP OF BARS ALONG THAT WAY ARE GREAT ANY ENTERTAINMENT YOU WANT IS THERE. WE LIKED BRAHMS AND LIST BEST. THEIR COMPERES ROBBIE AND J.C. ARE THE BEST! HOPE YOU HAVE A BRILL TIME.

We stayed for 2 weeks in Aug, we were a party of 12 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 child we had a great time here. The only downside was that the pool bar was closed the whole 2 wks we were there and the onsite shop was closed too. But there was a supermarket which was just down the road and you are near plenty of bars and restaurants. You had it quiet if you wanted or lively. I recommend Garrys bar it is fab and also Odd Fellows the food and drink there is excellent and good value for money.

Loved these apartments, they are so clean, staff friendly and lovely pool area.



Bit of a hill up to them but this just burned off the calories of all the junk food you eat on hols!



Absolutely gorgeous apts, everything in them, real big spacious rooms with plenty of space, balcony large with nice view.



A road runs by these but it’s not very loud traffic wise. Lots of nice shoe shops, restaurants in the area and real reasonable.



Went here in June 2005 to relax after a bad car crash found it the ideal apts to have gone to. Staff nice, but majority have little English. All the same though would definitely go back.



One fault - no TV in room and if you were lucky to get one there were no English channels.

An apartment complex with very friendly staff in a respectable part of Tenerife. The apartments have many good aspects to them but also have a few bad ones.



Good aspects: 1) friendly staff.

2) Large swimming pool with shallow end for children.

3) Very modern and spacious apartments.

4) Not extremely high rise.

5) Night security.

6) Pool side bar with food (snacks only).



Bad aspects: 1) Situated beside a main road.

2) Located on a hill, large for over 40's small for under 40's.

3) No nightly entertainment at night.

4) No day time entertainment.





These apartments are a very staff friendly complex with its own supermarket and large swimming pool. There is not much for young children but the complex is ideal if your looking for that relaxing location.

We’ve been to St George for 8 days. We had a great room, ask for room 403, the biggest room there is with a great balcony and a superb view. Very friendly crew. Very clean and every day clean towels.



You are very close to the beach which is the best beach in the area, clean sand. The village of Los Christianos is nice but not a "going out" village. You can walk to Playa Americanas in 15 min. There it’s full of pubs and disco's. We enjoyed our stay!

I stayed here last year and it was fantastic. It was so clean. I went with my boyfriend on our first foreign holiday and we both loved it. I always said I would want to go to many different places before I go back to somewhere I have already been but I would love to return here.



The only down side is the hill down to the beach, the footpath is made of stuff like tiles and is extremely slippery so watch out!



Otherwise I would recommend it to couples and families alike.

We have just returned from a two week stay in St Georges and I would have to say they were excellent. The apartments were very clean and the towels are changed every day except Sunday and Thursday.



You have an electric kettle although it does switch off before its fully boiled. you also have a toaster and all the crockery and cutlery you need. The pool is ample although I would say it would be hectic in the summer with a lot of early scurrying for the beds. May is perfect and you could stroll to the pool anytime during the day and be sure of a bed and an umbrella.



You only have to walk literally 7 mins to the lovely Las Vistas beach and 15 mins either way takes you to the centre of Los Cristianos or Las Americas. For older people there is an incline up to the apartments from the beach side but it is not very long or bad. Staff in the apartments were friendly and efficient but there is no entertainment which could be a problem if you have kids and there are only really snacks available i.e. no restaurant. We loved the area and would recommend Los Cristianos Tenerife and the St George Apartments to all.



Food is of a high quality and also is very cheap and try Georges bar by the beach on way to Los Cristianos where you can buy a pint (well half litre) and a local spirit and mixer for........2 euro for both! Happy Holidays.
