We stayed in Las Adelfas II, it was a lovely complex with a large pool and another smaller pool. Expect aircraft noise but after a while you dont notice it anymore.
Supermarket located beside the larger pool came in really handy when you are self catering.
We stayed in a studio apartment and was basic but very nice & they have BBC ITV and RTE in the rooms came in handy when you are too sunburnt to go out and want to watch soaps!
Landsdowne bar just a very short wlk from apartments was brilliant, great people and staff.
Overall the holiday was great except for one thing - the tour operator left without us on the way to the airport when we were availing of the courtesy room!! Other than that I was very happy with the place.

Just back from Golf del Sur. Excellent self catering apartment holiday. Quick transfer from the airport, however this does mean we're under the flight path. This didn't bother us at all.
The apartment was excellent. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two balcony's-perfect. We were right beside the pool which meant our kids could swim in the pool and we could watch them. There is also a pool attendent all day.
This is a perfect spot for a very quiet weeks holiday in the sun. We visited Loro Parque and the 'Freebird One' catamaran trip and saw whales and dolphins!
Highly recommended for a quiet week in the sun.

Stayed in a friend’s villa in Las Adelfas and I have to say we had a brill time.
The weather was lovely and the staff in the Landsdown were great and the breakfast was cheap about 20 euros for 4 people including drinks.
Yes it has noise with the planes but after the first night and a few drinks you don’t here them.
The area its self is quiet and a car is ideal for a vacation, you will get to see more and get discounts if you book day trips with the car company. Driver gets half the price.
All in all I would recommend Golf de Sur and I am going back again in August.

We were approached by Kristol Kross - inviting us to stay in a 'luxury apartment' at Las Adelfas for a week - the only 'catch' was a short presentation they said. We agreed, and booked flights for February.
When we arrived at the run-down reception area they were not expecting us. It took 20 minutes for them to find a letter for us from Kristal Kross and we were then directed to our Apartment.
We passed a lovely pool area, well lit and well cared for, to the other half of the complex - paint peeling everywhere, lights out all over, the pool dug up and covered in rubble.
It took ages to find our apartment (which was well past its best) because the apartments weren't numbered.
The cooker barely worked - taking 15 minutes to heat a hob up to luke warm. The oven didn't have any shelves and it took nearly an hour anywhere to bring it to temperature.
The downstairs shower flooded the bathroom every time you tried to use it, and there wasn't enough hot water at night for four adults to have a shower - only 2 (3 at a push).
We had paid in advance for the apartment. When they asked us to go to the presentation, we tried to refuse because we were so unhappy with it.
However, at this point they said that if we refused to go the presentation they would take another 500 Euros from us!
In conclusion, one half of the Las Adelfas I is lovely - however no-one should be accommodated in the other half until they have sorted out the demolished pool and refurbished the apartments.
No-one we spoke to on site had expected to be placed in such shoddy accommodation.
The planes most certainly are noisy and frequent - something you get used to after a while.
The restaurants at Golf del Sur are very good - with plenty of choice at very reasonable prices, something you need when you are unable to cook a meal in your apartment!.

Booked the Las Adelfas at the last minute, as we were two families travelling
for a cheap holiday, we could not go wrong, so I hear you say - what are the hang ups?
No one has pointed out that the accommodation is directly under the flight path; I am not criticising but feel it is my duty to point this out to potential holiday makers.
All being said if you don’t object to an aeroplane directly over your head every 1/2 hr or so and I managed to sleep through enough of them this resort is extremely well run.
Clean, tidy no fighting for sun beds etc. Go enjoy, see a few planes and catch some R&R.

We were contacted over the telephone about a holiday to Tenerife asking us if we wanted a weeks holiday for £99. The lady who rang us said all we had to do was fill in a survey asking what we thought about the resort.
The resort being Las Adelfas on the Golf Del Sur, South of Tenerife. Upon arrival we were shown to our 1-bedroom apartment, thinking we would only get a studio as only me and my husband were travelling and of course being a “promotional holiday”. Las Adelfas is situated in a lovely area, very lush and green, it also offers 6 swimming pools, 2 pool bars and 2 restaurants.
We explored the local area, finding various shops and alternative restaurants, although the entertainment was just ok.
When we had the survey with the young lady all she did was explain about discounted holidays which they can offer. This was done over coffee and to be fair it was not a heavy handed sales pitch, the kind everyone has done before and expects. I can say that we will definitely be using them next time we arrange a holiday.
All in all the holiday went very well, from receiving a phone call of which I would normally have hung up straight away. I would just like to finish off by saying thank you to Kristal Kross, Steve and the young girl who rang me, (sorry but I forgot her name), for a lovely weeks holiday, shame about the bit of rain!!! We will be seeing you all again soon.

I went to Las Adelfas with my Husband in March '05. It was a last minute holiday that we booked two weeks before we went. I was in Tenerife in the early 90's and stayed in Las Americas which I did not enjoy so I was a little bit apprehensive about going back to Tenerife.
Las Adelfas is lovely accommodation - beautifully gardens and two lovely swimming pools on two levels. All apartments are low rise. We stayed in a studio, which was lovely. 2 twin beds - nice kitchen area and big table and chairs very clean and modern. We had a TV with all the sky channels on it. Nice restaurant in the complex serving nice breakfasts and evening meals. Very lively bar in the complex - live music every night which finished around 12. Golf Del Sur is a nice quiet resort about 20 mins a in a taxi to Las Americas.
15 mins walk from the Apts is the San Blas Commerical Centre which has a selection of bars and restaurants and shops. Gullivers Grillhouse is excellent and the Italian. Avoid the restaurants in the centre of the centre - canteen food!!! All restaurants in the centre serve nice breakfasts. I would recommend Golf Del Sur and the Las Adelfas if you are looking for a nice relaxing winter/early spring holiday for a week.
We went in March and the weather was beautiful. 1 week would be enough as it is a small resort you may become bored if staying for two weeks. Would recommend for couples and those wanting a golfing holiday. Hopefully will go back again next March and escape the horrid Irish Weather. Brenda and Michael - Co Louth Ireland.

my wife and I plus our two small boys stead in the las adelfas 1 for a week, and it was absolutly HELL !!!! the rooms are in bits, the shower head was broken so one had a flood everytime the shower was used.we also found the staff very rude and un helpful it did't help matters with the accommodation been on the flight path of the airport. so that means you have the full sound of aircraft engines 30 feet above your room every 3 minutes. there is only one word one could describe this accommodation. DEPLORABLE!!!!!!!!!!
