Put rating as 1/10 as 0 was not available. We arrived at the apartment which had been booked in England. Unpacked but sooo disappointed as it bared no resemblance to photos and blog supplied by tour company. Had a good look round the place but everything was grubby and dirty - room, fridge, pool and it was full of teenager effing and blinding (some round the pool were apparently on their final warning). Spoke to guy on reception who was very understanding of my comments and said 'It is was it is' . Packed suitcases and booked into a beautiful hotel - Hesperia Playas de Mallorca - further down the town and then had super holiday. Both places cost same amount of money which is staggering as they are poles apart.

The apartments are only to sleep in. The pool is manky, people drinkin in it and spilling drink everywher plus at night theres couples in it! The apartment as long as your on top floor are ok noise wise. There no aircondition and wen its 30 degrs at night its a nightmare! and around 45 degrs during the day makes it even worse. These apartment only suite young and mental.smack in the centre of santa ponsa so within staggerin distance home! The apartments on lower floor have all the noise from main street. Staff have no problems throwing people out for noise or if your apartment isnt kept clean its out! only 1 member of the staff was friendly rest are ignorant and dont want to know about anything incase theyve to get off there ass.. santa ponsa itself if brillant, the beach is lovely bars are great craic and if you make it to the night clubs there open til 6. Weather really hot which averages 45 degrs at 1 clock. I wouldnt recomend these apartments to any1 stay anywhere else holiday centre or holiday park just up the street and are class! The only good thing about the apartment is that there in the centre of main strip.

my husband, son 16, daughter 12 and myself had a super holiday. We found the appartment clean although a little hot at night. Fans are available to hire. Staff were ok but the english lady on reception was friendly and very helpful. Any requests were met ie extra pillows. It was a little noisy but once the door was closed there was no problem. Yes a lot of young people were on holiday and drank etc but they kept to themselves. There was no trouble!! We are going back next year.

just arrived back from sun beach apartments mallorca. The accomadation was clean and well equipped.We were on the seventh floor which was a good place to be.The staff were very helpful, they even made a couple of phone calls for us,and there information was accurate.They were quite strict with the teenagers about there behavior and having consideration for all other guests.We would'nt hesitate to go back again.

Myself and my girlfriend recently stayed in Sunbeach apartments and it was a Night Mare. Our room was infested with ants, we were constantly washing them down the sink, brushing them off the floor and finding them in our clothes. The place wasn’t very clean on arrival ( basic dishes for tea etc were stained with old food ). People below us were kicking in their doors and killing each other all the way through the night, and the unfriendly staff decided to let them do this every night. So if you wanna go on a holiday, your 18 and like spitting on each other and smashing each other up??? This is the place for you!
When someone closes the door in their apartment the whole building vibrates so bad and loudly. Then it rained ;) Which I would have got over but when you’re surrounded by ants, dirt, and fighting you know its time to go, 3half days is all we could bare! I understand their basic and that’s fine by me for this type of holiday but Sunbeach is more like a hostel with no rules or basic cleaning! Never ever again, Santa Ponsa isn’t a bad place though jus these manky apartments

My husband and I have been going to SUNBEACH APPARTMENTS for the past 4yrs. We find the rooms clean and staff friendly. It is a holiday we will not give up easily as it has everything you want. The bars and restaurants are well varied and reasonable. I love the Indian restaurant opposite Dubliners bar. We have even taken our daughter and boyfriend with us, they are planning on going back soon.

I stayed here towards the end of season and had no complaints apart from having to get 3 lifts to get to my apartment close to everything you need not ideal for families but ok if your young and just wanna go to the really close bars.

This was truly the worst holiday of my life! The apartments are really dirty, and the amount of money stolen (1000euro-and no sign of forced entry)! The staff were very rude. I would not recommend this place to anybody and I cannot understand how any travel agency could promote it!
Santa Ponsa is nice but stay well away from Sun Beach.

We (a group of 6) stayed in the Sun Beach apartments in August 2007. It was a fantastic place to stay... the staff at reception and all the other staff were so helpful and kind. It was right in the centre of everything which was great. The pool and surrounding areas were clean and everyone was very very friendly... I would recommend these apartments to anyone, though would definitely advise anyone to take out the safety deposit box...
A great Holiday...roll on 2008!

If you have an idea of staying at the Sun Beach apartments, stop there. I have just returned and now need 3 days sleep to catch up on what I have lost in the past 2 weeks. Unfortunately my review is in no way a slight to the town itself, which is very nice but with every bar being Irish took away the thought that you were in Spain. The restaurants, however, were nice and reasonable.
However I was not ready for being woken up by drunk 16 year old morons at 4am every morning. They kept going until 7am. If you are lucky you will get a quick hour before the cleaners shout at each other until 11am.
Now I'm no 'Victor Meldrew' and I'm in the armed forces so I'm used to lack of sleep and bad language, but If you have kids forget it. The pool was constantly manned by drunk Irish boys and girls, smashed bottles and foul language. Complaints were made to reception by other guests but was never acted on. The worse thing I witnessed, were families leaving within days of arriving and one little boy was to scared to go into the pool, which was very sad.
In summary unless you have the mental age of a 16 year old or are indeed 16 then this is the place for you. If you are over 18 PLEASE don't even think about it.

i read some not to good reviews before going so i was over the moon when my daughter and i were given a lovely apartment on the top floor.The apartment was clean and tidy and you were a bit a way from the noise so you could get a good nights sleep. The pool was kept clean and the cleaning staff wre nice and friendly reception was nice and helpful i enjoyed my week at sun beach and would go back again it was great i had a lovely time and it was nice coming back to our apartment after being out and about all day.

Not a bad hotel, good laugh and a great week in Santa Ponsa. Got a little bit of rain that week which was a little bit surprising for Mallorca.
Will def go back next year. Shamrock is a must. Great music and the staff were excellent.

Right in the very noisy part of Santa Ponsa not recommended with young children as the apartments mainly catered for young adults. The pool area was noisy with lots of people drinking and swearing most of the time, which wasn't a relaxing place. The apartments didn't have air con so the windows could not be opened as the noise didn't stop until 7am. We were moved to a more family orientated accomodation.

Sun beach apartments were impeccable. The rooms are very basic but you only need to sleep and store your belongings in it. Wouldn’t recommend them for children or older people but definitely for the young and lively.
It’s in the centre of everything including restaurants, bars, and clubs. Clean towels and sheets were delivered every second day and rooms cleaned every 3 -4 days.
Really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be going to the same destination next year.

The apartment was central, friendly, safe and clean, smack bang in the middle of the clubs, bars and restaurants. Towels and sheets changed every couple of days.
The clubs closed at 6.am but 10mins walk either way,and you were out of the frenzied but friendly non threatening madness.We stumbled upon a beautiful desolate beach and a stunning marina. Santa Ponsa, is very welcoming and friendly. The food was tasty and varied. The sun cooled at 9.30pm, which was amazing, a dry heat.
There are a lot of surrounding places of interest. Palma is beautiful and takes you back in time, with the inspirational architecture. A place you could loose your heart to. Puerto Portals has a picturesque view, especially if one is a lover of yachts, filled with classy restaurants and shops.
I experienced a good holiday physically exhausted, but mentally felt that I had a 'holiday' and feel mentally refreshed. The weather never let us down. I met a truly gorgeous guy called Jamie, a bricklayer from a place close to Glasgow. It went pear-shaped when we were due to meet, so I would desperately like to get in contact with him, so if anyone is reading this and has met a stunning guy with dark hair, gorg. BLUE eyes and a smile to die for, would appreciate in you dropping a line. Thank you.
