We’d never been to Almeria before so didn’t really know what to expect. We were very pleased with Mojacar and would definitely go there again. The apartment was lovely and the air conditioning was much appreciated as it got very hot!!!
The Mojacar playa has a wide selection of shops, restaurants and bars along it. I would definitely recommend Kukis cafe and bar - it is owned by a very kind man and wife who will always find you a table even when they are full. Kukis is also good for children who need amusing during the day as they have a pool and football table. Another restaurant to recommend is Badger’s. The food is very good and the waiter’s are very nice and helpful. There is Karaoke on every night from 11pm to 1am and can be very amusing!
The Vera Aqua Park is about an hours coach ride away and is worth going to - but won’t amuse you all day! It is fairly small with only 3 main slides. The sunbeds and rubber rings (these are to take on rides with you) cost you extra - although there are rubber rings which are available to anyone, but they are on high demand throughout the day.
Overall my family and I enjoyed our 2 week stay in Mojacar and would quite happily go back again.
