Reviews of Club Vistaflor Apartments, Maspalomas

This was the most revolting and hideous holiday I have ever been on. The place was flasely advertised to start with the photos were not of the vista flor but somewhere else and it was advertised as three bed which it most certainly was not. The third bed was a thin har sofa with no bedding provided so my husbend ended up sleeping outside on a sun bed. It was crawling with cockroaches even in our fridge and teapot!!! the shower was broken, the bedding was dirty, the pool was a health risk and had stuff floating all over it and was never cleaned. there were bag snatches and thefts and men wondering around our bungalow saying they were work men!!! the food was disgusting and the receptionist was very very rude I would advise anyone thinking of going there dont it is horrendous and ruined our holiday!!!!!

overall a pleasant stay but dont expect the tour rep to help you in any way if its a thomas cook rep apartments were as expected great pool and entertainment . staff tried to help but they were very anti thomas cook so this made life differcault . also most of the other guests are spanish as they seem to have holiday homes here and they get preferred treatment and also thier friends stay or come over at weekends and they take over the pool area and sun beds

great holiday this complex was good value for money

good staff transport on your door(taxi & bus) many local bars & food outlets

dissapointed pool not heated and most owners do not support the resteraunt and bars in complex

why some bother to go all they do is pick faults and moan unless it suits them(entertainment)

anyway we had a great time

a visit to the yumbo &cita centres a must (gay pride )a good night and laugh

visit port mogan this area is magnificent

Stayed at the Club Vistaflor great value for money, staff very nice, very easy access to many restaurants, bars and night life. Public transport and taxis very good. Someone wrote being an owner they did not want entertainment in the evenings when I stayed there all the owners were up dancing etc. But I must agree the entertainment could do with a great deal of improvement the shows we saw I hope will not be booked again when we return. Have a nice holiday.

Read that owners do not want entertainment - rubbish, when we were there the owners made the most fuss over the entertainment. One owner was the show (bit of a singer). It does want upgrading urgently, we saw 2 shows hope not to see them again this year. The complex very nice, staff good, nearby plenty of things to do.

Me and my boyfriend have just came back from a brilliant holiday at Vistaflor.



The apartments were very clean and the pool area was big. Although I can see it getting very busy in the summer months. We stayed self catering and I’m so glad we did as the food was rubbish. We stayed in the apartment for breakfast and dinner one night. There is nothing much to choose from and not very nice, but this is the only complaint we had.



The entertainment was very good and we stayed in most nights to watch it before going out. I had read past reviews about it not being very good but I thought it was very entertaining.



The place is very quiet but its only 2 euros to get around most places. Overall a very good holiday and would consider going back. 10/10.

Stayed here alone with my 3 year old daughter in 2005.



Was very nervous about security etc. as i was alone. Had a lovely time.



Have never been to apartments like this before it was like a mini villa . Spotlessly clean. Lovely pool.



In a very quiet area but a short taxi ride or walk away you can find all the lively bars etc.



Evening entertainment not good, no kids club but with a nice waterpark within ten minutes walk, it wasn't a problem.



Loved this place so much we are going back in September with a view to buying a time share there !



Most of the apartments are time share owned! The quality of the accommodation can not be faulted.

I stayed in the Vistaflor last June 2006.



I go to Gran Canaria a lot, 2-3 times a year and have stayed in various apatments and found Vistaflor to be the most enjoyable.



Very comfortable beds with air con, very friendly and helpful staff, nice pool and grounds, excellent restaurant, very comfortable sun loungers and very peaceful at night.



Probably the best in this price range. We are returning for 2 weeks in May 2007.

Excellent location. Excellent staff. This is our 4th year and have never had a reason to complain.



Excellent for kids. Great food available on site, entertainment needs to improve.



Good bar facilities. Very close to all amenities, taxis very cheap. We will be back.

My husband and I have been owners for eight years at Club Vista Flor.



Each year we go they always strive to make our holiday pleasurable. With the friendly staff and good facilities offered, it’s a great place to stay.



The location is quiet, but in easy walking distance to more lively areas.



They continue to improve the complex each year, and this year they introduced day time activities.



The evening entertainment offered is of an acceptable level.

My parents own 3weeks at Club Vistaflor and we go every year end of July for 3weeks, we love it and its dead cheap other there even a night out on the town.



The apartments are really clean and have maid services 3 times a week but they do go in everyday to make your bed. The pools cleaned every morning.



They are improving there services ever year we have been 4years now and every year gets better.

Truly fantastic holiday, would recommend it to anyone, the place is spotless and clean, if you eat in the food is great.



Family of four may need a two bedder but one bed is adequate. Situated in a quieter area of Maspalomas and only a E3.00 taxi ride from the Faro de Maspalomas where all the big restaurants and shops are.



Have tried booking for 2007, but all travel agents are either not bothered or just lazy, anyone know of a tour company servicing the Club Vistaflor, let us know.

We read with interest the comments about lack of entertainment at Club Vistaflor.

Do these people realise that this is a privately owned complex and being owners we do not want evening entertainment.



We want a nice quiet relaxing holiday and those wanting more should research and book the appropriate accommodation.



These apartments are clean and well looked after by the majority. The staff are friendly and helpful the bar is a very pleasant place to sit and relax and of course there is the option to eat which is also excellent value.

Excellent accommodation, pool very clean, staff very friendly, magnificent chef. Poor entertainment in the evening, will certainly return again and again and will recommend it to friends.



Should put a great deal of effort in developing entertainment and probably redesigning lounge furnishings The views are excellent and the weather throughout our stay was great, the cost of living is considerable lower than in Ireland.

Excellent accommodation and staff very friendly.

Air conditioning is not extra as stated in another review - a refundable of €20 is all that is required for a remote control to operate the unit - very few, if any, other complex offers a/c.



Very good chef - but a little work needed on the entertainment front.



Will certainly go back - been there in April 05 as well.
