Club Vistaflor Apartments

Have just returned from Club Vistaflor having booked less than 3 weeks before travel.
Arrived late at night, check in quick and friendly, air conditioning offered at check in for which a refundable deposit was made, then directed to apartment.
We overlooked the tennis courts and paintball centre! but this really was not a problem, there were tennis tournaments on all week but once inside apartment no noise was noticed except when we sat outside.
Great restaurants at Faro 2 shopping centre only 5 minutes walk away.
Cheap taxis from outside to Playa del Ingles with lots of bars and restaurants.
Level walk to Maspalomas beach which was lovely, we walked along beach to PDI but be warned parts are nudist!
Swimming pool great but sunbeds all got reserved by about 7.30am.
We had a fantastic holiday here, yes the apartments are dated but they are clean and comfortable and we met the friendliest people ever on holiday and were sorry we had to leave after a week

All the big kitchen utensils had to be rented as well as the tv remote.
we had a 2 bedroom bunglow which are only in the block next to reception. We wer right opposite reception and had to keep the curtions closed all the time for privacy.The noise off people passing all day and night as well as the staff and deliveries and the noise for surrounding bunglows was unreal.The pool was full no chance of a swim even standing in it i gat climbed on and hit by invlatable toys and topless women hang around beside the pool in full view of everyone.
No parking, it was only what could be found around the roads which was not easy with all the other villas and apartment around. we pparked outside on the road were cars had parked all the time and this was the only day parking tickets were given out and with a hire car it had to be payed which was impossible as we were not resident on the island.

Just come back from a week's break at Club Vista Flor - booked via our RCI Timeshare points. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment and liked the fact that bedroom and bathroom were on the first floor. Facilities within the apartment were basic but good enough for a toast/cereal breakfast. Plenty of sun loungers and pool very clean. Reception efficient and bar/snack food was of a good quality - we had two lunchtime meals there. Would recommend the Barcemar II restaurant in the local shopping centre (5 mins walk) or loads of facilities in Maspalomas (40 min stroll/walk to the lighthouse) or E4.00 taxi. Aquapark great - get dual tickets with Palmintos Park for savings.

Stayed there October 2010, accomodation was excellent, staff were very helpful. we had 3 kids 16,12,10years, were very happy with their holiday. was at the pool 1 morning and there were 14 staff cleaning the pool and surrounding area, very impressive. the only thing we would fault would be the night time entertainment. would have no trouble recommending this to anybody

Went there in March 2010 with 2 adults and three Kids. Accomodation fine, Meals fine/average. However, not a lot of British about, No English TV or English Satelite TV available. Entertainment shocking and only last for 1 hour at 10.00 PM. Had to get taxi to English quarters and taxis would only take 4 people so ended up taking two taxi's at least twice per day. On the positive side taxis only 3 Euro's each way but soon adds up to a lot of money when there for 7 days.
Overall O.K. but would have liked Thomas Cook to inform me of these shortfalls before booked as would have probably booked to Playa De Ingles

I thought the club vistaflor was verry nice. The first time i saw it, it was stunning. the buildings were all lovely colours. the apartments were nice and some get a good veiw of the mountains,some the pool and some the tennis courts. Lounge area was good with a pay computer and free magazines to relax with. The resort was in a verry good place just a short walk away was the theme park and the big BIG mall. the beahc wasn't far when geting a shuttle bus. There was a shuttle bus going to the beach different times each day. There was also near buss' to take you to the water parks and annimal parks wich where lovely. It was a verry enjoyable holiday and i would recoment it. xxxxx

clean. Swimmingpool nice. Sheets and towels all ripped and worn exposing badly stained duvets underneath! Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues (bathroom upstairs in apt and downstairs at bar). Handrail on stairs pulled out from the wall bathroom and bedroom doors wouldn't lock. showerhead cracked, hard to turn off water. Be careful with hot water, it can vary from boiling or cold. Only facilities available : internet at reception and one tiny pool table outside in full sun. The local beach all seaweed and stoney.

Mrs. Brookes and very many other are confusing CLUB VISTA FLOR with other holiday apartments. Thomas Cook do not do holidays in CLUB VISTA FLOR, the majority of weeks are privately owned, though I understand one tour operator (Irish based) owns some weeks.
We had a fabulous week - staff are very helpful, the place is spotlessly clean and the pool was perfect.
The only thing that spoilt our week were some very roudy and disrespectful Irish holidaymakers. Who were drunk and very abusive.
Looking forward to returning in August 2009.

we were a party of 6. 4 adults 2 children (aged 3 and 5) had a ball. waiters were always good to the kids.
little supermarket in the complex was ample but not great.(peice of advice get a taxi and ask for euro spar, its massive and has everything)
if eating in the restaurant we recommend the madagascan steak with pepper sauce.
Faro2 is only a short walk and this has bars and restaurants also.
short taxi ride and you are in playa d'ingles about 3 euro in a taxi.
no noise for the whole holiday and would go back again without a doubt.
(i think mrs brooks was on a different holiday from everyone else :P )
recommended for all ages

dont get this complex mixed up with vistaflor this is club vistaflor
great holiday staff good ,complex clean & tidy
mrs brookes who wrote earlier must have been a different complex to us
we were so plesed we are going again in 201well done staff and vistaflor
