" well worth it "
Submitted By: steve & margaret W.B.A.We recommend that you go on the Sunset Cruise(52 euros each but well worth it)also the monestary. We will definitely be going back there again but only if it stays as Adults only and no children as ther were rumours going around that children would be allowed as from next year.
P.S. Please feed the cats at Breakfast there is only a few but the one has three kittens she needs to feed, you can see them under the bush at the back of the pool they are lovely.

" Great food needs a bedroom refurb. "
Submitted By: kayg44The pool area was great with lovely kept gardens and the tempreture of the water was lovely to just dip in and out of.
The entertaimment was good some nights and not others but generally we really enjoyed it though we did walk up to the Coral Bay bars on a couple of nights which were great.
Th 100% best part of our holiday was without a doubt the food, it was varied, fresh, well pepared and delicious especially lunch and dinner. I have never been all inclusive before though my partner had and after reading reviews I was concerned I would hate it as normally I prefer eating in different restaurants but it was wonderfull .My partner said it was by far the best AI food he has ever had. On the whole we had a great holiday and would go back though the itsa little tired and in need of an update and the air con being updated so it does not deserve it's 4* rating but a bloody good 3*.
Advice: great location
Activities: Corello Restaurant
Good for: Beach

Submitted By: Mike PlantHaving said all that the hotel is great the bedrooms and bathrooms are a little tired but the public area more than make up for this by being fresh spacious and well furnished .The two restaurants are both very comfortable and the choice of food is excellent and the quality superb, the majority of the staff are wonderful .
Val on reception brilliant.
Restaurant Manager couldn't do enough for us .
Waiting staff so polite George was a star.
Bar Staff Zuzanna watch this girl work she never stops.
So would we go back ?
YES next year without a doubt ( There will be no work carried out so we will be able to enjoy this Rugrat free zone as we had hopped to do this year)
Advice: Lovely area , the beach outside Coralia beach hotel great, lots of bars restarants and clubs.
Activities: Paphos is well worth the 1.5 euro bus fare .
Good for: Beach
" Brilliant "
Submitted By: kelly marley" Outstanding pool, quiet location "
Submitted By: cathlshoppingStaff - Excellent attitude, very efficient and friendly. Val on reception was english and brilliant, and also the manageress who tried to get us an upgraded room and tried her absolute best but was held back by her own boss. All very hardworking. Cleaners came every day and cleaned, again, friendly and efficient.
Food - Fantastic! I can only think the people who complain of the food being repetitive is because they're there for 2 weeks and I suppose anything would be repetitive if you went out all the time for 2 weeks. There was always a good selection of choices to suit everyone - examples include:
Soup (oxtail, chicken, pea, ministrone)
Meat - carvery with roast beef, roast lamb, roast turkey, roast pork, beef stifado, chicken, curry, fish
Salad - every type of salad you can think of! Potato, rice, beetroot, standard, tomoatoes, cucumber.
Veg - veg to suit the meat of the evening, even got sprouts one night! Cauliflower, peas, brocolli, etc and gravy.
Puddings - jelly, gateaux (choc and strawberry), traditional eg bread and butter pudding, apple pie/crumble, sponge and custard, ice cream, masses of choice
Then always a selection of cheese and crackers
How can anyone complain about those choices???!!
That was for dinner - breakfast was again excellent - all sorts of breads and cakes (even jam and iced doughnuts!) Your usual cooked stuff - baked beans, bacon, fried eggs, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, potatoes etc, as well as all your cereals, toast, and fruit.
We only had lunch on our last day as we were half board and it was pizza with lots of salad choices and pork with potatoes and veg and gravy.
Surprisingly I didn't put any weight on though!
Pool - pool was the best pool I've ever been to. It was massive and a really big area, well suited to the size of the hotel. Only problem was the water was absolutely freezing!
Rooms - the room I must admit was the one thing that let the holiday down. There was nothing wrong with it as such, it was just a bit dated. It was big enough for the two of us, but only had a tiny balcony. We had a side sea view which was quite a nice view. It was clean though so that's all I was bothered about and at the end of the day it's only a base. There was a fridge which you paid 13 euros for and a safe which was about 13 euros too, but if you're all inclusive you get the fridge money back.
Location - within walking distance to Coral Bay beach and close to bus stops which take you to Paphos which is about a 20 minute ride away for 1.5 euros. Close to the small choice of bars and restaurants.
Entertainment - there was hotel entertainment during the day and evening by a young 20 year old - Dan. He was brilliant, he got involved in all the usual - water polo, french bowls, killer darts etc and single handedly did the evening entertainment - bingo every night as well as a quiz and a Mr and Mrs Ascos night. There were a couple of outside entertainers in which were OK - line dancing, but one act was brilliant - a gay singer/comedian! He was only there for 2 weeks and as we left he was introducing the new entertainer who again, was a single bloke, a bit older but without so much charm.
Age range - average age range of the hotel was about 45/50. I'm 41 and my husband is 40 and we felt we were around the younger end of the scale! There were a few younger groups, but mainly the older generation, but they were all very friendly.
Drinks - we went half board and were definitely in the minority. Would recommend All Inclusive as the drinks prices were extortionate - half a coke was 2.40 euros!
The hotel is in Coral Bay which is a very small resort. I wouldn't say the beach was anything special, it was only about 15 minutes walk away but wasn't particulary clean, it was nicer to stay by the pool.
There was a selection of bars and shops and supermarkets 5 minutes walk away and a bus journey took you about 20 minuts to Paphos itself.
Paphos was OK, the harbour was where the main hubbub was with bars and shops and restaurants, but in some ways it was a bit like Blackpool!
The weather was brilliant – 2 mornings when it rained, but then soon cleared up to sunshine and the rest of the time lovely and hot and sunny all the time.
I wouldn't visit this resort or hotel again. Nothing particularly wrong with it, just would rather try somewhere else.
Advice: Very small area, quiet in April

" 24 hours of nightmare "
Submitted By: lizzy-smithThere was building work going on all over the grounds. A grassed/steps area lead to a small but dirty beach area.
Inside pool area had tiles falling off the ceiling. The jaccuzi looked as if everyone had peed in it and had a film of grease on the water, a health hazard for all. we were moved within 24 hours to a beautiful hotel. we were also told this hotel had to be closed four years ago due to other health problems.
" Good value "
Submitted By: goodStaff are all first class,so are the meals. Anybody finding fault should holiday elsewhere. (Contented)
" Good value "
Submitted By: Belle2006Not as nice as other hotels on the island that has the same star rating but it was far cheaper so this i to be expected.
It has sea views but the sea at the end of the hotel grounds does not have a proper beach & it is difficult & a bit dangerous to swim in the sea near the hotel, best to walk or get the bus to coral beach just up the road.
Overall we were very pleased with the hotel & feel we got good value for money.
Advice: Not much to do in coral bay but Paphos is a worth a look especially the market
Activities: The market was really good
" Very Poor "
Submitted By: poor-holidayIll start with the good points:
1 - The reception and bar staff are first class.
2 - Err? ok the pool and reception looks nice, so thats 2!
Bad points
1 - Overall the hotel needs a face lift.
2 - Only 1 lift working and that brokedown for a day, so the customers who were in wheel chairs could not go to breakfast or dinner as in was on the lowest floor!
3 - Rooms, air con only blowed hot or hotter, only half the lights worked, the room was not cleaned very well at all I believe the maid only made the beds.
4 - The food is the same each day, the lable on the door is the only major change each day. It all looks unappeitising and tastes as bland as it looks, there is the same salad/friut bar on at breakfast, dinner and tea.
5 - Again the food, there was no fresh veg, all tasted like it was fresh out of a tin! all soups, pastas, sauce, gravy etc.. were very runny and watered down. so were all the fruit juices, which all tasted like very weak cordial squash. We went all inclusive but were not allowed to take drinks in at any meal times and were only allowed to order 1 drink each at the table. We were forced to eat out.
6 - We ventured down to the 'hotel beach' all i can say is dont. there is no access to the se and the rocky 'beach' is a tip, it looks as if the hotel and local villas use it as a dump site!
the list could go on.
