We have been holidaying in Majorca annually for the last 18 years and we can honestly say that our latest holiday in Cala D'or was the best. The D'or Hotel was everything we could ask for. Clean accommodation, quiet surroundings, pleasant staff, excellent breakfast, close to all amenities.
Will definately be back there next year and can't wait to book again.

excellent holiday, rooms cleaned everyday, staff very friendly, breakfast as much as you wanted to eat, didnt have to eat again untill late afternoon, pool really clean, and you dont have to put towel on sunbeds. Any problems that you do encounter staff will sort it straight away. We enjoyed holiday that much have booked to go again next august.

Really nice hotel. Wasn't expecting much for what we paid but we were very pleasantly surprised.
Nice rooms with individually controlled air conditioning!! Pool area was small but you didn't need to reserve a sunbed at all. Food from the snack bar was nice and reasonably priced, as were the drinks with a daily happy hour buy one get one free.
Restuarants and town centre are literally just round the corner and the supermarket is across the street.
We are going there again in August 2008!

The Hotel D'Or consists of a number of two storey buildings situated just a few minutes from the town centre and right opposite a Spar supermarket. There is a stop for buses and the small train just a few yards away.
Our room was clean and well-presented, with a large balcony, air conditioning and a great shower. A room safe was available for a small charge. Maid service was daily (except Saturdays) which included a daily change of towels.
There was a smallish swimming pool with an area separated for children and there were plenty of free sunbeds with mattresses around the pool. The snack bar (open to 1am) offered a small range of hot/cold snacks and was reasonably priced. Reception was manned 24 hours a day and staff were very helpful from our experience. Breakfast included ingredients for an English breakfast as well as pastries, fruit and bread/toast plus tea/coffee/juice.
We thought the Hotel D’Or was very good value for money and would have no hesitation in staying there again.

we booked this literally the day before we travelled and for what we paid and the star of the hotel I was dubious. Luckily my husband and 8 year old daughter were very pleased. Basic but very clean and pleasant rooms with individual air conditioning included in the price. we boarded on a B&B basis which ran from 8am to 10am on a self service basis, although the staff cleaned your dishes away. cooked breakfast, pastries, muffins, fresh fruit, tinned fruit, cereal plentiful every day with small changes each day so you didn't get bored. pool medium in size with kids pool, always clean and lovely. no need to 'book' sunbeds with towels and the whole atmosphere was family orientated, fairly quiet and safe. There is a spar across the road with a bus stop and train stop 2 minutes away. the walk to the fabulous marina with it's restaurants only 10 mins walk and the centre 2 mins walk away. fabuluous, would recommend to anyone.
