I have just arrived from a holiday at the Ambasciotori hotel in Lido Di Jesolo. The hotel was very comfortable and the food was good. The service was of excellent standard.
I would recommend this hotel, it is in a perfect location, Just minutes from the main square and literally a hop, skip and jump to the beach, where the hotel has there own sun beds and umbrellos.
The resort is not somewhere that I would visit again, it was extremely touristy and the shops were as tacky as the shops in Benidorm! but very expensive, One has to look for "made in Italy" because most of the merchandise was "made in China. However, Venice is an hour away and there are excursions to other exciting and cultural places.

We have just stayed at this hotel for a week and really enjoyed it, it is spotlessly clean; the food is lovely and the staff are fantastic and always ready to help with anything and always very pleasant mannered. The position is perfect and very central which we found ideal, the only bad thing about it was having to leave to come home!!! I give this hotel 10 out of 10 for an all round brilliant holiday and we will definately be going there again without a doubt.

Having travelled to Lido in 2006 and being disappointed with the accommodation at the nearby Cambridge Hotel, we were very impressed with this Hotel.
The beach front location is excellent, accommodation spacious and clean and the hotel staff most welcoming.
The evening meal consisted of a buffet style self serve menu. There was a vast variety of food and even my fussy 6 year old managed to fill his plate every evening. The staff couldn't do enough to help. One particular evening the meat was a little too rare for my liking. I left it on my plate without making a fuss but within minutes a waiter had it sorted and fresh steak was being cooked just as I like it- I was even offered seconds!
The views from the sea facing rooms were beautiful. Even by Italy's standards are bathroom was spacious- my parents a little smaller but we were lucky to have a bath and a shower.
Having stayed in this Piazza region we wanted to be in the same location again but with a better hotel- we certainly got everything we wanted.
Booking for 2008 has already been made to the same hotel as we were so impressed and had such a wonderful time.
One couple booked for 2008 just as the coach pulled up to take us to the airport. It was the 30th year they had stayed at the hotel.
There was only one problem that we did face and that was arriving on a Friday evening at 1 am. A meal by bar on the beach can be very loud until the small hours of the morning but once the weekend was over this stopped and we were so tired by this time, it didn't prevent us from sleeping!

I recently arrived home after staying in the Ambasciatori Palace for two weeks. Me and my boyfriend had previously read some negative reviews about the hotel, so were unsure what to expect. However, when we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised!
Everything about this hotel was lovely, as soon as we walked in, we knew that we had made a good choice. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff in the hotel were all very friendly and always happy to help.
For breakfast there is a wide choice of foods with a waiter cooking fresh fry ups every morning! You are also able to sit outside on the balcony which was very nice. Dinner was also very good. The food was delicious, and there were always plenty of dishes to choose from. For example, there was an extensive salad bar, and two or three choices of soup for starters. There was always 4 or five choices of different meats with fresh vegetables and different potatoes every night. There were also two or three different pasta dishes available every night which were all delicious! The desserts were also very good for example with a mini ice cream parlour, profiteroles lots of fresh fruits and a good selection of cheeses.
The hotel is situated perfectly, literally 1 minutes walk from the main square of piazza mazzini with shops, restaurants and bars to meet every body's taste! So there is always plenty to do at night.
The pool at the hotel was very nice and always clean. The beach is situated right outside the hotel and there are sunbeds allocated to the hotel so there are always free sunbeds throughout the day.
Whilst at the hotel, we were able to do a range of different trips, for example, with Venice only one hour away! We were very pleased with the hotel and would definately go back again! It definately deserves its four star rating!

This fantastic hotel is in a very good location, on the beach and near the shops/bars.
Rooms are a little small, but comfortable and are cleaned daily.
The staff are all really friendly and make you feel really welcome, large selection of fresh food at break-fast and dinner too.
Have stayed in other hotels on this resort and Ambasciatori Palace was the best, would gladly recommend this hotel, and will go there again in the future. 10/10.

This 5* hotel was very impressive. My room was spacious, a single room (with a double bed) and even a Jacuzzi tub. After a very hot and humid day it was nice to retire here. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar, lounge and patio area was also very relaxing. However, a swimming pool, or gym would have given it my absolute full recommendation.
Rome is a very beautiful city, with a lot to see, however at this time of year it can get VERY hot! At midday it was around 35 degrees! You also have to watch out for pickpockets, as I myself was unlucky enough to have my money stolen!!
Overall a fantastic trip for me!
