I was very wary about coming here after reading reviews. I came in feb this year with partner and two kids,. was so pleasantly suprised; has the biggest apartment with a huge terrace, no cockroaches in sight, very clean and spacious. In all fairness the food wasn't great;... more

I've just got back from a 6 day stay at Tahona gardens. Having read the bad reviews I was a worried about what to expect, however, when we arrived at our room we were so pleasently surprised. The room was bigger than expected, we had a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom... more

The food was rubish unles you love fish. No clean sheets towels were only changed once and even then they were brought back dirty. Luke warm water/none hard squeeky beds.paying for water even if you were all inclusive to drink. Loads of ants nests and the occasional cockroach . No entertainment at all not even for kids.

Hi, my partner, daughter (4) and myself were glad to return home 29/3/11 after a week's self-catering at the Tahona Apts. The place is a disaster and if you feel like a week of "slumming it" this is definitely the place to go. When we arrived we were given the keys for room... more

We looked at reviews for Tahona Gardens on Tripadvisor and made the mistake of thinking what a load of moaning Brits. We booked a last minute economy break and did not expect 4* luxury. This however does not excuse the hotel from disregarding basic hygiene rules. The room... more

Overall great holiday:)
we got back from the tahona gardens on the 26th august. We stayed there for 1 week. Luckily we were self catering so we didnt have to suffer the so called "dog food". The pool was great, so was the huge beach and the town was nice. The only problem that i encountered was the bathroom door in our appartment, it kept jamming and it took us ages to get out, but appart from that we had a very enjoyable stay. Id reccommend it- but only if you go self catering.
the pool is nice
The pool is nice thats about all this hotel/bungalows have got going for it. We spent 2weeks all inclusive here the beginning of august 2006 and to sum it up shortly because i could write all its faults all day. The service is terrible, the food is cronic, the entertainment and atmosphere of a holiday well simple there is none. Please go else where even if it costs extra.
Dont Waste Your Money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where should i start??????? The food will make you very sick!!!!! NO HOT WATER!!!!!! VERY RUDE STAFF!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I came here in August with my husband and two young daughters, We hoped for a relaxing holiday with the kids, outside the complex this is a beautiful island where you can enjoy a great holiday with the family!!!!!!!! Unfortunatly we stayed here and had to be moved it was that bad!!! ALL INCLUSIVE!!!!!!! The food is a discrace people where getting sick, we ate out all the time, after we went to... more
Avoid at all cost
The Tahona Garden complex has to be the worst place we have ever stayed. We are currently there at the moment and are now in our 6th day without hot water. The food is awful with little choice and nothing to suit children. We booked all inclusive but like most of the people there, we ate out at night. I would not have fed the stuff on offer to my dog. The staff were rude and unhelpful and could not care less when customers complained. For Mark, Sarah, Charlie and Alfie, if you´re eading this, the boiler at the poolside blew up... more
Glad to be home
We have just returned from tahona gardens and were very disappointed with the standard of the complex. We stayed for 2 weeks all inclusive and throughout our stay wished we were back at home . We were disgusted with the food and resorted to eating out every night. The standard of the housekeeping is much to be desired and the rudeness of the restaurant manageress has to be seen to be beleived. There was no entertainment what so ever and the tv in the bar lounge could be heard at a push , but was padlocked shut. If... more
Do not stay here!
Just got back last week after spending a week at La Tahona. I'm very suprised that more people havent added comments (complaints) about there experience at this hotel. Ok, the hotel/rooms were ok. What we expected for the money we paid. Our main complaint is that we were under the impression that all inclusive meant exactly that. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were at specific times and there was no snacks throughout the day. Drinks were available throughout the day. However, you did have to help yourself if possible to the nearest... more
Fawlty Towers in some aspects!
Having last night returned from La Tahona I feel compelled to write a full and comprehensive report on the hotel, surroundings and food etc. I only wish that someone else had written something so detailed to give us a better ‘heads up’ for our holiday. We booked All Inclusive through Medhotels. The hotel seems to cater for English, Dutch, German and Spanish speaking guests – whilst we were there we met approx 20 other English speaking guests. APARTMENT Very large and spacious, not an enormous amount of clothes storage... more
Beware!!
Calletta de fuste has a man made concrete beach, complete with gravel. This small resort is over run by tacky, neon glad "Blackpool" style bars/cafes/restaurants aimed at the British Chavs amongst us - where, having flown thousands of miles, you can still have a "big boy English breakfast", read The Sun, &ultimately feel like your in a cringe worthy episode of Little Britain - The hotel - we expected basic - didn't expect the staff to be so rude & arrogant & refuse to take ownership for anything - didn't expect the toilets to have human... more
Great place to stay
We have stayed at the Tahona Gardens twice. In August this year and July last year. We book the Tahona because its cheap and in a good location. The apartments are clean and the pool is very nice. There isn't much going on in the evenings but there is plently to see and do in the resort. We always stay self catering but I have to say that I wouldn't want to go all inclusive but if your looking for a basic apartment with a nice pool the Tahona is your place. We intend to stay again.
Not what was expected
We have just returned from Tahona Garden in Caletta de Fuste, fuerteventura. We booked for two weeks all inclusive thinking that the children would have ice-cream to hand during the day and that there would be a reasonable amount of entertainment for children during the day and adults and children alike in the evening. Knowing it was only of 3 star status we did not expect a palace and to be fair the rooms were o.k, apart from the inch long nail which was sticking out of the bathroom floor tiles(some sort of doorstop i think). The place... more
