like others i have read i was a little weary of arriving at the Oasis Village,but i neednt have worried.we had a poolside apartment with fridge and kettle(some had full kitchen).it was one of the largest rooms i have stayed in and was really clean.cleaners came often and towels changed regularly.the downside of the rooms was that they were unbearably hot(we had no window in bathroom just 2 patio doors as we were bottom floor so we couldnt even have the doors open all night)the heat hit you as soon as you walked in,we hired 2 fans for our 2week stay but that cost us 48 euros plus 40 deposit which i think is a little excessive(think its cheaper to buy them in town centre).people did complain over no air con but it does state in brochure that there is none.You could usually find something suitable to eat either at the pool bar or restaurant and it wasnt top class but thats not what you booked!!what i did find frustrating though was that replacing the food ,glasses,cutelery etc was slow and you were searching around or waiting for things,also the drinks machines seemed to be on the blink quite a few times.as said previously the pool was closed on and off for 2 days but we were given water park tickets free which was a bonus.entertainers worked hard through day and night and it is cheesy but it usually is where ever you go!!!the bar staff and people clearing up in the restaurant also worked very hard and could always find a cleared table to eat at.not the place for a quiet holiday as there were loads of kids around(which suited my 11 year old,we never saw him as he made that many friends!!)a lot of people complained over everything!!!they were even complaining to the rep that the sun was too hot!!!(as though he could do anything about that!!)all in all an enjoyable 2 weeks!!

Just got back from Oasis Village this morning at 1am, we booked it last minute and it proved to be a very good last min decision.
The hotel/village was very well kept and very clean, it wasnt over looked by any surrounding buildings which gave us a lot of privacy. We enjoyed the pool side enterainment from the Thomas Cook reps, if you wanted to be active there was always something going on inside the village (aswell as excursions) or even if you just wanted to relax by the pool then you were able to do so without being distrubed every second (which I thought was great). The pool facilities were very good, there is a lower pool which seemed to be a place to relax and read and a upper pool where you did sports aswell as other water activities and finally a baby pool situated next to the upper pool.
There was never a shortage of sunbeds although it was actually quite busy, at times we had 4 between the two of us! which was great to jump in the shade when we got to hot!
The food in the village was actually quite good as there was always a good range of food on throughout the day which seemed to be rotated pretty regularly. The dining atmosphere was very relaxed and the random themed chinese night was a very nice touch. There was always something to eat.. sometimes we just had to get a little bit creative with our meals, we never left feeling hungry!
The weather was great throughout the WHOLE holiday reaching an impressive 36 degrees most days. The only bad weather (if you could call it bad) was a slightly cloudy day with a cold wind blowing throughout most of the afternoon. Although it was very hot most days there was always a nice breeze around.
The rooms we had were massive for a couple and I'd imagine ideal for a small family, however there was no air conditioning in anyrooms which caused some problems as it was really hot a stuffy during the evenings and night time, we didnt open our patio doors during the evening to try and reduce the amount of mosquitos attacking us (which was actually really frustrating at times). Mosquito plugs and fans were aviable for hire for a week at around 5&12 euros (I personaly thought they should of been free).

So thats it in a nutshell, it was a really nice place... we would go all inclusive here again! we didnt want to go home and we miss it already!

2 adults 2 children aged 6 and 3 returned at 2am this morning, have to say booked a last minute 3* holiday and we were pleasently impressed, The food was 3* not particualy good but edible, best night was chinese night, there was always something you would like. the pools were fantastic, no complaints there, the entertainment was basic I did get a bit annoyed during the day as most of the entertainment was based around the pool and at least twice aday the kids got kicked out of the pool for half an hour at a time, the entertainment at night was also basic, even though the entertainment team worked hard and to their best ability, and 10 euros for for a bingo ticket, good job we were all inclusive.
there is a kids club at the hotel, which is a hotel run one, just dont ask the thomas cook staff where it is as they tell you its at the oasis dunas and you will have to pay for it, but barbara at the oasis village is fantastic, she is not english but italian and her english is brill, my daughter enjoyed it better than the thomas cook one, you do have to be 4 though.
the room was basic and if i was to go for 2 weeks i would have to book a 2 bedroom room as the sofa bed is not comfortable, the room was clean and was cleaned 3 times whilst we were there which is fine by me.
the hotel staff were great and hard working esp adriana who worked resturant, pool bar and evening bar etc.
The location was great only a 5 min walk from main town and 2 mins from water park.
I definatly will be going next year, already looking, the only down fall is the food and entertainment, goood as it is, it could be better.
I would recomend this holiday to people with children of all ages and couples.

First, I have to draw attention to the timeshare touts - they are very clever and no matter how much you think you won't be fooled, it's very easy to get sucked in. If you are offered a scratchcard, DO NOT TAKE IT! They just want to get money out of you to stay in the Atlantic Gardens (almost directly opposite Oasis Village), and are as dishonest as they are charming.
Now to the hotel itself. We had a bargain, so the best thing to say is we got value for money. The pool area was superb with an extremely dedicated pool guy, same goes for the gardens. The room was basic and cleanish, although there's no way I'd have slept on the sofa as the cover was almost crispy. There was a large dip in my mattress with bits of straw sticking out, but to be very fair once I told reception about it, a new mattress was brought within hours.
The staff were very pleasant and certainly earned their wages, however the entertainment was awful (but as we had a bargain, we could afford to go out a few evenings), far too loud so the sound was distorted. However, I won't grumble about any of it as all in all, it was good value and I imagine would be excellent if you have children to pay for!

I went to the oasis villige hotel with my dad and sister we enjoyed it alot and would recomend this hotel to any one.. once there we were greated nicely and showed to our room. the rooms were very stylish and had lovely facilities. you had a double bedroom and then the sofa and a pull out bed so in this size room you could fit 4 and squeeze 5 if not botherd. you had tv,shower,shower,bath,kettle,fridge and this is all inclusive aswell!!!! the entertainment was brill they had 2 entertainers there daily (Totti & Lulu) they were fantastic and everybody loved them, also every night there was bingo and shows on which were amazing especially the blues brothers who also show in a bar in the local town every night.
However thing's to do there got limited mainly because of the price wise and the whole money situations at the min, also the time that we went was not brill because alot of things were not open as it was december. but looking around when these are open it should be amazing.

Have just returned from and excellant holiday in Corralejo with 3 mates. We stayed in the equally excellant Oasis village apartments. On reading some of the previous reviews about the oasis village i was very dubious about going, but once there all my fears were unfounded, do some people just go on holiday to find faults so they can whinge?? I can fault the oasis the food, the drink, the staff all excellant very helpful, the rooms very spacious and clean in fact the whole place was spotless, cleaners do an excellant job, plenty of towels etc. My 3 other mates and myself all agreed this was one of the best holidays we,ve been on yet. So 10 out of 10 from us to the Oasis and Corralejo.
Advice: Definately worth a visit 10 out of 10
Activities: We were all inclusive so pretty much ate at the apartments.

We our a family of four and decided to go for a nice sunshine break which we got.
The reception and first impressions of the complex are lovely, reception is nice open plan etc.
The complex was a nice size, with two large swimming pools and one smaller pool, games room, pool bar, restaurant, volleyball and tennis courts.
Our apartment was a nice size, we went All inclusive but the self catering apartments are even bigger, as they have kitchens.
If going All inclusive, the food is lovely, there is lots to choose from, and there is something there for everyone.
Corralejo itself is a nice town, a bit bigger than we thought! It is has the usual tourist shops with other big label shops, at the end of the town there is the port and few beaches and a selection of bars and restaurants to choose from if going self catering. There is also a small shopping complex just a few minutes from Oasis Village aswell, and a large waterpark which had just opened when we got there.
All the staff were friendly enough and were willing to help. The only area we felt as a family needing any improvement was the entertainment, Its all by the Thomas cook staff and they did try but it was very poor on some nights, and not that great compared to other places we have been. However they do Bingo every night-which we did win on our last night!
This was our first time to Furteventura, as we had been to the other Canaries before, it is nice for a sunshine getaway, but maybe for two weeks I would definately struggle on finding things to do.However would return to Oasis Village.

I was a little dubious after reading many mixed reviews, but the Oasis Village was absolutely brilliant. It seems the British enjoy moaning, I even overheard a couple complaining to each other that there was no champagne to greet them!! Every single day the food was superb, there was always something to suit all tastes (vegetarians catered for too). The apartments were spacious and clean and the staff happy and helpful. I couldn't fault the whole experience and the wife and I had a very relaxing holiday.
Advice: Nice place to relax, but be prepared for people constantly trying to get you into their pubs etc.

Before booking this holiday, I spent hours pouring over all the recent reviews of this hotel in order to get an overall picture of the place and not just rely on one disgruntled persons view. (I know, I should get out more). I had to do this, as the reviews are so variable with their comments and perceptions. So reading between the lines, we decided to bite the bullet and go for it, as the price for all inclusive here seemed too good to be true.
We are a normal regular couple with no children on a double income and when we go on holiday we like a good quality hotel. We have been coming to Corralejo for five years in the Winter and normally stay at the Blue Bay Palace, which is a gorgeous hotel (just read the reviews!). However, because of the credit crunch etc. we required more for our money this year and went for the Oasis Village. I will be extremely honest in my review as I think this is best for you, the reader! Its no good having a grumble about one thing and letting it mar your view of the rest of the hotel, as I think maybe the negative comments that some people are giving are due to maybe one or two things not being quite right then letting that bring your opinion of everything else crashing down. Therefore this will be completely HONEST in every respect.
First Impressions: The hotel has a very nice frontage with a pleasant and airy reception area. At check in, there were a number of couples and families in front of us, but that is to be expected as a couple of flights had just landed. When we got to the front desk it took literally seconds to check us in. The staff are polite and efficient, they provided us with a map and verbal directions to the room. Please take careful note of what the receptionist tells you about how to find your room.
Rooms: Even listening to her and following the map, at first it is a little confusing for the tired traveller and we went in circles trying to find the front door! Your door is french window sliding style (which I initially thought was the back door, hence the circling!). You have three spacious rooms, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The living room and bathrooms are a double frontage affair, with french windows for the bedroom too. On the plus side, this double frontage means you get a very large terrace and can throw these doors open during the day. On the minus side, however, you are afforded no privacy in the bedroom with the curtains open! Therefore, you find yourself leaving the bedroom curtains shut most of the day with the light on which seems a shame. (this is because If you are like us, you are constantly running about in a state of semi undress to the bedroom from the bathroom having showered, changed clothes etc and you need your privacy!). Also, if the room is hot (luckily this time of year it wasnt too humid at night) there is'nt a window to open or air conditioning, I assume this would be a problem in the Summer. A bit of a faux pas in the design really.
Anyway, the rooms are HUGE! so big in fact you dont know what to do with it. There is a sofa bed, armchair, coffee table, large sideboard with a kettle and two cups and saucers to make your hot drinks if you want. There is a working fridge to hold cold drinks and milk, which is a nice touch. The bedroom was also roomy, with twin beds and a triple wardrobe with drawers. We found there was more than enough room for all our stuff. The furniture is in good order, but looking a little tired due to being knocked into, but not too bad really. The bathroom is massive but in need of updating, we felt. The tile grouting looked grubby in places, the bath looked too old and just generally the bathroom needs sprucing up. The towels provided were old and to be frank, I would have thrown them out. Some had old stubborn stains and needed replacing but they were clean. The shower worked very well and there was always hot water, however long I took in there! We also had a problem with the odd ant making an appearance which was a nuisance. On our arrival, the bulb had blown in one of the living room lights, we left a note about it and it was changed that afternoon.
So, apart from the above.... what is our overall impression? The place was extremely spacious, clean and airy, and quite homely. If, like us, you prefer to ENJOY your precious time away and don’t want to spend it fuming and stomping about, griping about the little issues above, then you will be very happy with the accommodation. If however, you let these things get under your skin, then you might want to look elsewhere, where the towels are changed daily and the rooms are perfect. Its your call.
The towels and sheets were changed twice while we were here (One week). I would have prefered more frequent towel changing, but its no biggie.
Surrounds: Outside your terrace (with nice patio furniture) is a beautiful garden area, set with palm trees etc. This is like a little courtyard as the rooms are in an oval shape around the gardens. There are very pretty hibiscus hedges around your terrace which are beautiful to look at as you sip your sangria in the evening! We were unfortunate in being in a position, however, where our terrace hardly got any sun all day, but I daresay some of the rooms must do at some point of the day. Our room was D110. (They are set out in four 'blocks' A-D) The two pools and the surrounds are kept spotless and are very attractive, with many mature palm trees that are lovely to look at and also provide some shelter from the sun. Every single sunbed I looked at was clean, spotless and not broken (Unlike some hotels). They really are kept in tip top condition. And there are so many, there was never a fight for a sunbed here. A real plus for someone who hates the usual scrummage to beat everyone else to the best spots around the pool!
Food: This accommodation is three star, so we werent expecting five star food. And it isnt. It is varied and plentiful and if you make sure you look at all the different dishes before you get your plate you generally will find something. To be honest, the food served is similar to what you produce when you think ‘lets make something quick out of the freezer’. Lots of chips, sausages, mash etc.. like home comfort food. Some days it was very tasty, basic, but quite delicious. Other days I didn’t find anything in the main area that took my fancy, so I had a baked potato and a salad selection which is always fresh and plentiful.
The buffet is not set out very well, I could never find the butter to go with the bread which for some bizarre reason is in the far corner of the dining room.
Breakfast selection is vast, the hot selection was always hot, which I found surprisingly refreshing as I normally find hot breakfasts far from hot once served up. There is even a microwave to heat things up, but I never saw anyone feel the need to use it.
Worst thing was trying to find a clean table sometimes. The poor staff are extremely hardworking but cannot keep up with the pace. We often had to clear other peoples mess away before we could eat.
General: We dont normally go all inclusive. It reminds me of the sitcom, Benidorm. I hope I dont sound snobby, but there were people here that reminded us of the characters on that show, complete with Union Jack shorts and Football shirts which seems to be the uniform for some people abroad! If you can laugh at this sort of thing, mingle, or be happy keeping yourself to yourself like us, then all the better. Seriously though, If large crowds of families on a cheap break making a bit of noise around the pool leaves you cold, then you might want to look elsewhere.
Staff were always efficient and very hardworking and we hardly had to queue up at all for drinks, but this might be due to it being a quiet time of year.
Location: The hotel is located next door to Baku Park. This waterpark is closed at this time of year, but I think some parts of it remain open (such as the swimming-with-the-sharks experience) As we don't have children it doesnt bother us that the park is shut, but make note of this if you have kids and plan to come during the Winter months. Im not sure when it reopens for the summer.
It is a pleasant stroll into town from the Oasis Village, but if you are not a good walker you might find it quite a trot, however, there are plenty of inexpensive taxis around the town and the hotel will call you one if you dont fancy the walk. We go at a very leisurely pace and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the bars and restaurants. If you turn right out of the hotel, rather than left towards the main road, there is a lovely little complex, very new, which has a wonderful place for kids, it is full of bouncy castles of all shapes and sizes, loud music and the kids seemed to love it! Within this complex are good quality shops and cafes, and there is a bell tower you can climb for no cost and the view is lovely. (These bells are the chimes you can hear at the hotel). Also if you go this way out of the hotel, it is a short cut to the Corralejo beaches and the harbour area, (pick up a map from the reception and you will find your way, its easy)
have now been here five times and have seen this place grow and expand. However, it still maintains a lot of charm, especially in the old town area but like a lot of up and coming resorts there are pluses and minuses. Personally speaking, we are NOT fans of the British style pubs that spring up abroad. I find them embarrassing. There is a strip that looks like Blackpool to your right as you walk into town, down a side street, however it is easily bypassed if you just carry on! There are quite a few places that do live bands but our favorite is the Imagine Bar. Here, you will find Eric Sypestyn playing his guitar most nights alongside many other instruments. He is brilliant! Write a request on a piece of paper, pop it on the wheel, he spins it and will play whichever one is at the top! It has a very laid back atmosphere so if you want a rest from all the hubub come here! If you are a musician you can jam with him up on stage. We never tire of Erics antics and bad jokes!
Make sure you take a stroll around the harbour and beaches during the day as it is lovely and the views across to the Isle of Lobos are fantastic.
The weather this year was disappointing, we normally have sun all week but four of our seven days away were cloudy and a bit chilly. But by the time we left it was scorching sunshine. Make sure you take clothes that take account of the evenings that can be chilly. Remember: this island is renowned for its wind! That’s why the hotels are built surrounding the pool area, to provide wind break. If you have time, please make sure you visit the Dunes!! Absolutely breathtaking beaches, but windy, remember. Well worth a few visits during your stay! The hotel provides a courtesy bus but taxis are cheap anyway.
Would we go back to this hotel? If the price is right, yes we would. BUT DON’T expect five star standards at a three star hotel.
Would we return to this resort? YES, again and again, we have fallen in love with the place.
We are a normal regular couple with no children on a double income and when we go on holiday we like a good quality hotel. We have been coming to Corralejo for five years in the Winter and normally stay at the Blue Bay Palace, which is a gorgeous hotel (just read the reviews!). However, because of the credit crunch etc. we required more for our money this year and went for the Oasis Village. I will be extremely honest in my review as I think this is best for you, the reader! Its no good having a grumble about one thing and letting it mar your view of the rest of the hotel, as I think maybe the negative comments that some people are giving are due to maybe one or two things not being quite right then letting that bring your opinion of everything else crashing down. Therefore this will be completely HONEST in every respect.
First Impressions: The hotel has a very nice frontage with a pleasant and airy reception area. At check in, there were a number of couples and families in front of us, but that is to be expected as a couple of flights had just landed. When we got to the front desk it took literally seconds to check us in. The staff are polite and efficient, they provided us with a map and verbal directions to the room. Please take careful note of what the receptionist tells you about how to find your room.
Rooms: Even listening to her and following the map, at first it is a little confusing for the tired traveller and we went in circles trying to find the front door! Your door is french window sliding style (which I initially thought was the back door, hence the circling!). You have three spacious rooms, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The living room and bathrooms are a double frontage affair, with french windows for the bedroom too. On the plus side, this double frontage means you get a very large terrace and can throw these doors open during the day. On the minus side, however, you are afforded no privacy in the bedroom with the curtains open! Therefore, you find yourself leaving the bedroom curtains shut most of the day with the light on which seems a shame. (this is because If you are like us, you are constantly running about in a state of semi undress to the bedroom from the bathroom having showered, changed clothes etc and you need your privacy!). Also, if the room is hot (luckily this time of year it wasnt too humid at night) there is'nt a window to open or air conditioning, I assume this would be a problem in the Summer. A bit of a faux pas in the design really.
Anyway, the rooms are HUGE! so big in fact you dont know what to do with it. There is a sofa bed, armchair, coffee table, large sideboard with a kettle and two cups and saucers to make your hot drinks if you want. There is a working fridge to hold cold drinks and milk, which is a nice touch. The bedroom was also roomy, with twin beds and a triple wardrobe with drawers. We found there was more than enough room for all our stuff. The furniture is in good order, but looking a little tired due to being knocked into, but not too bad really. The bathroom is massive but in need of updating, we felt. The tile grouting looked grubby in places, the bath looked too old and just generally the bathroom needs sprucing up. The towels provided were old and to be frank, I would have thrown them out. Some had old stubborn stains and needed replacing but they were clean. The shower worked very well and there was always hot water, however long I took in there! We also had a problem with the odd ant making an appearance which was a nuisance. On our arrival, the bulb had blown in one of the living room lights, we left a note about it and it was changed that afternoon.
So, apart from the above.... what is our overall impression? The place was extremely spacious, clean and airy, and quite homely. If, like us, you prefer to ENJOY your precious time away and don’t want to spend it fuming and stomping about, griping about the little issues above, then you will be very happy with the accommodation. If however, you let these things get under your skin, then you might want to look elsewhere, where the towels are changed daily and the rooms are perfect. Its your call.
The towels and sheets were changed twice while we were here (One week). I would have prefered more frequent towel changing, but its no biggie.
Surrounds: Outside your terrace (with nice patio furniture) is a beautiful garden area, set with palm trees etc. This is like a little courtyard as the rooms are in an oval shape around the gardens. There are very pretty hibiscus hedges around your terrace which are beautiful to look at as you sip your sangria in the evening! We were unfortunate in being in a position, however, where our terrace hardly got any sun all day, but I daresay some of the rooms must do at some point of the day. Our room was D110. (They are set out in four 'blocks' A-D) The two pools and the surrounds are kept spotless and are very attractive, with many mature palm trees that are lovely to look at and also provide some shelter from the sun. Every single sunbed I looked at was clean, spotless and not broken (Unlike some hotels). They really are kept in tip top condition. And there are so many, there was never a fight for a sunbed here. A real plus for someone who hates the usual scrummage to beat everyone else to the best spots around the pool!
Food: This accommodation is three star, so we werent expecting five star food. And it isnt. It is varied and plentiful and if you make sure you look at all the different dishes before you get your plate you generally will find something. To be honest, the food served is similar to what you produce when you think ‘lets make something quick out of the freezer’. Lots of chips, sausages, mash etc.. like home comfort food. Some days it was very tasty, basic, but quite delicious. Other days I didn’t find anything in the main area that took my fancy, so I had a baked potato and a salad selection which is always fresh and plentiful.
The buffet is not set out very well, I could never find the butter to go with the bread which for some bizarre reason is in the far corner of the dining room.
Breakfast selection is vast, the hot selection was always hot, which I found surprisingly refreshing as I normally find hot breakfasts far from hot once served up. There is even a microwave to heat things up, but I never saw anyone feel the need to use it.
Worst thing was trying to find a clean table sometimes. The poor staff are extremely hardworking but cannot keep up with the pace. We often had to clear other peoples mess away before we could eat.
General: We dont normally go all inclusive. It reminds me of the sitcom, Benidorm. I hope I dont sound snobby, but there were people here that reminded us of the characters on that show, complete with Union Jack shorts and Football shirts which seems to be the uniform for some people abroad! If you can laugh at this sort of thing, mingle, or be happy keeping yourself to yourself like us, then all the better. Seriously though, If large crowds of families on a cheap break making a bit of noise around the pool leaves you cold, then you might want to look elsewhere.
Staff were always efficient and very hardworking and we hardly had to queue up at all for drinks, but this might be due to it being a quiet time of year.
Location: The hotel is located next door to Baku Park. This waterpark is closed at this time of year, but I think some parts of it remain open (such as the swimming-with-the-sharks experience) As we don't have children it doesnt bother us that the park is shut, but make note of this if you have kids and plan to come during the Winter months. Im not sure when it reopens for the summer.
It is a pleasant stroll into town from the Oasis Village, but if you are not a good walker you might find it quite a trot, however, there are plenty of inexpensive taxis around the town and the hotel will call you one if you dont fancy the walk. We go at a very leisurely pace and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the bars and restaurants. If you turn right out of the hotel, rather than left towards the main road, there is a lovely little complex, very new, which has a wonderful place for kids, it is full of bouncy castles of all shapes and sizes, loud music and the kids seemed to love it! Within this complex are good quality shops and cafes, and there is a bell tower you can climb for no cost and the view is lovely. (These bells are the chimes you can hear at the hotel). Also if you go this way out of the hotel, it is a short cut to the Corralejo beaches and the harbour area, (pick up a map from the reception and you will find your way, its easy)
have now been here five times and have seen this place grow and expand. However, it still maintains a lot of charm, especially in the old town area but like a lot of up and coming resorts there are pluses and minuses. Personally speaking, we are NOT fans of the British style pubs that spring up abroad. I find them embarrassing. There is a strip that looks like Blackpool to your right as you walk into town, down a side street, however it is easily bypassed if you just carry on! There are quite a few places that do live bands but our favorite is the Imagine Bar. Here, you will find Eric Sypestyn playing his guitar most nights alongside many other instruments. He is brilliant! Write a request on a piece of paper, pop it on the wheel, he spins it and will play whichever one is at the top! It has a very laid back atmosphere so if you want a rest from all the hubub come here! If you are a musician you can jam with him up on stage. We never tire of Erics antics and bad jokes!
Make sure you take a stroll around the harbour and beaches during the day as it is lovely and the views across to the Isle of Lobos are fantastic.
The weather this year was disappointing, we normally have sun all week but four of our seven days away were cloudy and a bit chilly. But by the time we left it was scorching sunshine. Make sure you take clothes that take account of the evenings that can be chilly. Remember: this island is renowned for its wind! That’s why the hotels are built surrounding the pool area, to provide wind break. If you have time, please make sure you visit the Dunes!! Absolutely breathtaking beaches, but windy, remember. Well worth a few visits during your stay! The hotel provides a courtesy bus but taxis are cheap anyway.
Would we go back to this hotel? If the price is right, yes we would. BUT DON’T expect five star standards at a three star hotel.
Would we return to this resort? YES, again and again, we have fallen in love with the place.

Whinge whinge whine whine. Is that all Brits can do? I went on hols here with 3 girlfriends and we had a fantastic time. The pool was great tho the big pool was freezing! Still went in tho. The staff were lovely and helpful especially David! The Thomas Cook reps were brill specially Stevie, Wes and Steph. Where the hell do they get their energy from? Highly recommend Flicks kareoke. Fantastic night and quite cheap too. Staff were lovely. The food was great and we never had a problem with flies ( you would get that in England if you ate outside der) or cockroaches! What a crock. And you dont have to pay for the kettle at all. Sometimes the food was a little odd but I think they were trying to cater to the English (else they MOAN) so you sometimes got things like brussel sprouts and spam fritters. I was worrying when I went in case all we had to eat was fish but this simply was not true. They did all the usual fast food as well as main meals and the breakfasts were lovely and so much choice. From cereal and toast to fry up and boiled eggs to fruit and pancakes. Need I go on? Yes a lot wasnt what we were used to but we were in SPAIN! If you want English food go to Skegness and leave Spain to people who like to try different things. The maids were fantastic and we left a huge tip cos they cleaned our room every day and with 4 girls living out of a suitcase for 4 days it looked like a bombsite. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone tho perhaps not for honeymooners. Dont listen to all the bad reviews. These are written by people who found fault with one thing then continued to moan incessantly about everything else till they were happy. There are enough reviews on here to say a lot of what has been said is bull. Go and enjoy!

This was a last minute cheap holiday to get some sunshine. It was not the type of hotel that we would normally stay in, but we were favourably impressed. The rooms were large, if sparcely furnished, and kept reasonably well. It was unfortunate that previous occupants had left cigarette burns on some of the furniture. There was plenty of food, although it wasn't all that exciting and sometimes overcooked. However it was always possible to get enought to eat at meal times. The hotel was probably not more than half full so there was no trouble getting served anywhere. The reception staff were freindly and helpful, others not very friendly. Our main gripe is the fact that there is only one indoor bar and in the evenings the music is very very loud. Despite complaints from many guests it was not turned down. A second quiet bar or lounge would be very welcome. It was a bit cold to sit outside for too long, plus all the smokers were outside. However over all it was value for money.

I was in the hotel oasis village in feberuary and i must say what a fantastic time we had, i went with my 19 year old daughter and my 6 year old grandaughter, we booked a trip to the animal park and camel safari. what a great day we had .also we had a buffet lunch which was included in the price.the sand dunes was amazing ,although we did,nt go to any restaurants.as we did.nt feel the need to as we had every thing in the hotel we needed.the entertainment staff were brill put on shows,also the kids club was great my grandaughter was with lu lu the kids entertainer and she took the kids away for 5 hours in total a day.i would like to say a big thank you to kez.wes.steve, thomas cook entertainers and steph thomas cook rep.The rooms are roomy and clean. also it is a lovely location. mary helen ,brooke.south wales

When we arrived we had to wait 3 hours for our room. We sat at the bar in our travel clothes melting with the kids desparate to get changed and into the pool. In the end we opened our cases and changed in the toilets just to cool down. When we got our room it was lovely, very clean and spacious. We were disappointed that we had to pay for the safe, kettle, fan etc. Staff were very friendly and polite. The food however was a different story, we are not ones to complain and we were expecting basic food and for it to be repetitive. We were not expecting it to be so bad. After 3 days we could no longer face the food so we started to eat out instead which by the end of the 14 days worked out to be a pretty penny. As our holiday went on the restuarent got more and more empty with many people constantly complaining. The main excuse was that it was the first time that this hotel had done all inclusive. It appears though by most reviews that it has gotten no better. Such a shame as the complex itself was very nice. We were put off AI so last yr decided to switch to SC and we booked the Las Olas, big mistake and we quickly upgraded to a complex called Las Marismas, fantastic and we are going back for more this yr, check out its reviews if you are thinking of going to this island again.

Having read the comments of other visitors over the last few months, i was a bit concerned, however they were all wrong.It is a 3 star complex with excellent gardens, pools and facilities.
The food choice was very good and catered for everyone. All cooked well and hot.
Entertainment was excellent day and night Thomas cook team.
Not sure what has changed but the previous comments are not accurate to my visit.
Would recommend this to families, couples old and young.
I am well travelled and this is good value for money.
