Simply the best holiday I have ever had.
Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean resort, great food, and great accommodation.
No faults whatsoever.
We went on an island tour with our tour operator, and on the coach we stopped at other resorts to collect other people, and I can honestly say the Oasis Tamarindo was the best resort in the town of Corralejo.
The only thing if you do need to use a supermarket is not to use the resort one as is a bit expensive compared with other supermarkets in town more (Netto and Spar).
During our time there we only heard 1 person moaning, a British lady moaning to the poor bloke in reception about her being sun burnt and no one informing her she needs to use sun cream as it is so hot (like it needs explaining as during the week we spent there average temperatures were in excess of 30oC), but seeing a moaning bright red lady was quite funny.
We did have a problem with the lock on our door, we informed reception and within the hour the lock was replaced and a new set of keys received very good service.
Staff also speak Spanish (obviously) but speak fluent English and German.
Thank You Oasis Tamarindo for giving us our best holiday, we shall return.

The cleanliness of the apartments are amazing and the pool area is spot on! However if you are going for two weeks the food can be the same the second week however it isn't disgusting!
Some nights the food was amazing others satisfactory. This holiday was amazing and the sights and the town of Corralejo is amazing! The water park is great and only a few minutes walk away! The holiday would have been better if the entertainment was better. The entertainment was mainly for kids and to be honest you could get better entertainment at Butlins. There is stuff for children under the age of ten but if you’re older than that you’re stuffed! The nightly entertainment was ok at times but when you come on holiday you really don't want to play bingo do you?
Saying that though there was one good night and that was the karaoke! Myself and my family all were bored at night times and we often went out to entertain ourselves which we shouldn't of had to do because we were all inclusive!
However the overall holiday was amazing! I would definitely go back if the entertainment improved!

The Oasis Tamarindo
During our stay our rooms were cleaned on a regular basis, and we were provided with clean towels and bed linen. The apartments themselves were very spacious, and were well maintained. Surrounding the apartments were Trees and plants.
Swimming Pool:
There were three swimming pools in the complex, which were cleaned regularly. At all times, there was a lifeguard on duty. There were plenty of sun beds surrounding the pool, which offered a great family atmosphere with sun, shade and fun!
Food-Poolbar:
The snacks were served at half three up until half four. They consisted of two options; a hot or cold light meals.
Cold Meal:
For this selection, there was a variety of cold meats accompanied by salad. You were able to add to the sandwiches provided to suit your taste. There were also sauce's available.
Hot Meals:
If you didn't make it for lunch, these meals were adequate to satisfy you until tea.
Meals:
Breakfast-7:00-10:30:
Hot drinks were available, tea and coffee. Fresh juices were also an option, serving apple, orange, pineapple and water. Milk was also available by the cereal. There were again two options for either a hot or cold breakfast. There was always something for everyone.
Lunch-13:00-15:00:
Fresh salads, cooked meats always something you could make a meal from. The drinks that were available, were coke, 7up etc. San Miguel, Red and White Wine fruit juices and water. Occasionally tequila was served, along with lemon and salt on your entry into the restaurant. There was a balance of English and local delicacy.
Tea-18:00-21:00:
Each day there was either meat of fish cooked to your taste in the restaurant, there were also meat and fish dishes already prepared. Salad, a variety of potatoes and the same drinks were served as lunch.
With all three of the meals, a selection of crusty breads could be cut and toasted to
your own standard.
Deserts:
Ice-Cream, mousses and cakes. And for the healthier options, fruit and jelly.
Staff in Restaurant:
Always greeted at the door, tables were always cleared and overall the restaurant was spotless.
Reception staff:
On arrival we were greeted by the staff, and checked in and given room keys. We were also provided with wristbands-these were used for the purchasing of alcoholic drinks, as a different coloured band represented a different age group.
Cleaners and Restaurant/Bar:
All extremely friendly, and did their jobs well. The maids knew little English, but this did not affect communication with involvement of the rooms.
Animation Team:
The animation team were responsible for day-time entertainment for both adults and children. The team consisted of three main members- Luca, Chris and Patrick :) They came across very friendly, and worked extremely hard, producing great effect, as they were loved by both the children and adults.
Entertainment:
Equipment for the tennis and volley ball courts were available from reception, with a small refundable deposit. There was also a football pitch which was left open during the day. There was also two table tennis tables a pool table and an air hockey table which required a small fee. Bikes could also be rented for seven Euros a day, but a twenty Euro refundable deposit was needed per bike, to ensure its return. The bikes could be taken off site and there were cycle paths in to the town or to the beach.
Animation Team:
Day: Pool Games Adults and children-water polo, water gym, basketball etc, Pool, Cocktail Games, Table Tennis, French Boules, Volley Ball and other entertaining fun.
Night:
A mini disco was held for the children, there were typical party tunes and also traditional Spanish songs, which all had set dance routines, led by the team. Usually Patrick would dress-up and lead the mini disco game with Chris. The games were easy to pick up and were explained in several languages. Before the evening show, certificates were given out to the event winners.
Evening Show:
The evening show was either run by the animation team or by professionals. They started at 21:15 and some lasted longer than others. Insight of some of the shows:
Blues Brothers & Friends, Bingo, Mr&Mrs Quiz Show-both fun for adults and children really good fun!
Boys V's Girls
After the show had ended a club dance would close the entertainment for the night. During this, you could get free drinks from the bar until 23:30 but after that they had to be purchased, as the bar was then open till 01:30.
Local Area:
Town is a three minute taxi ride, and taxi's called from reception to the taxi rank opposite. It averaged out about 2Euros each way. There were plenty of bars, shops and restaurants open late into the night.
Harbour:
On the edge of the town boat trips could be taken from here and many of the restaurants were of a sea view. There was a shop next to the hotel which if you are self catering, has a selection of savoury food.
Best Bar: C@spers Internet Bar
Three laptops for the children to contact people at home has msn and internet explorer. The bar is named after the owners dog casper which is usually in the bar. The owner is very friendly and can speak seven languages including Flemmish which is spoken in Belgium where he originates from. The drinks in here are cheaper than in the town and it is a stone throw away from the complex.
Winning Post
From 10am it sells English News Papers Sign posted outside hotel. During day has sports English television and when night falls there are games and usually a karaoke.
Overall the holiday has been great thanks to the staff at the hotel and the facilities they offer.
I would with out a doubt consider revisiting the resort, in the near future; my only Criticism is that there should be an optional seating area instead of the pool bar, maybe open the restaurant while it's not in use. Other than that the holiday has lived up to high expectations and I only wished I could have stayed longer.

Hi every one I’ve just got back from a week at the Oasis Tamarindo apartments it is an awesome place to visit for people of all ages.
The food is nice with a good variety everyday the rooms are well maintained with cleaners coming five days a week.
The entertainment is great every day with stuff for the kids all day till 9.15 pm 9.15 is the adult entertainment till 11pm. the funniest part of my holiday was every day when the reps who work with the kids everyday do a dance 3 times a day to a song they made which is like a dance track.
Overall I’m giving 10/10. I would highly recommend it and easily go again.

The food is terrible in the resort, however there is a sports bar round the corner which is nice so is Tiffanys. Could not fault the resort apart from that. The pools are salt water so cover your eyes.
Must recommend Baku it has bowling open from 4 pm, water park open from 10 am, crazy golf open at 4 pm, and a park. Warning the sea is very strong so be very careful when in it don’t let younger kids in without a responsible adult!
Great holiday, very hot (46 degrees).
Must recommend it.

We just got back from the Oasis Tamarindo a fortnight ago and overall the holiday was Stupendous.
The food was very good but breakfast wasn't that good due to the bacon being very undercooked and having to wait 10 mins for your toast to grill on a Rota grill. Also the other food that was served for breakfast was a bit iffy, at one point they were serving chicken nuggets! Dinner was excellent, especially the range of salad, Tea was excellent too you have got to try the canary stew.
The apartments were very clean and spacious. When you get there its best to hope for a room which is on the upper floor because if you get a room on the bottom floor you can’t really keep your windows open due to the fact that a robber may climb inside.
The equipment of the hotel was average. The tennis court, football court and volleyball court were good but it was just the equipment that went with it, the tennis balls were popped and the rackets were falling apart. In the end we bought the hotel some new tennis balls and gave them to them when we were going. You couldn’t play table tennis or pool because someone had stolen the balls. By this point we weren’t up to buying a ping pong ball or a set of pool balls, so we decided to give ping pong a miss.
The bar area and pools were excellent. The pools were nice and clean and the bar was nice to sit in at the evening and sit and listen to the entertainment which was brilliant. By the way if you like the song YMCA you must go to this hotel this is because they play this song 5 times a day.
The hotel is close to a supermarket, and is also close to the Oasis Papagayo. You can go and play bowling here and you can also play pool and they have an arcade which is host to a tennis game were my friend and I spent at least 20 euros each trying to complete and get the high score, which we did and if you look it says MJ1. There is also the Baku water park which is a 10 minute walk away, the park was very good. If you keep on walking past the water park you get to the local town which is a nice pleasant place. On Mondays and Fridays there is a Jamaican market just near the water park, which is fun and you can improve on your bartering skills.
Overall the Holiday was excellent the weather was hot and sunny and after you leave, I suppose you just want to go back and visit again and again and again.

Just back from a fortnight at Oasis Tamarindo and it was fantastic I didn’t want to leave. I enjoyed this much more to Florida!
The night time entertainment was good with shows like blues bothers and magicians and mini discos for the kids. The entertainers were very enthusiastic and the kids loved them.
This has to be the best holiday that I’ve ever been on and would highly recommend it and go again. 10/10.

You will not be disappointed with Oasis Tamarindo.
It is a clean, well laid out and well organised complex. All staff are helpful and friendly and always on hand. If you need provisions there is a Supermarket just outside that has most things you might need and is open until 9:30
Apartments are in blocks of four and are very clean and well maintained and include everything you would need if you were there self catering, so don't even pack the travel kettle. Maids clean the apartments every other day so you always have clean towels and toilet rolls. The pull-out beds in the lounge are a little uncomfortable though, so don't expect a good nights sleep and there is no air-conditioning or electric fan, which means it is warm and stuffy in the night. There are windows that open but they have no security features on them and means anyone might be able to climb in during the night! There are safes available to hire in the apartments to keep your valuables which is worth while.
The pool area is excellent. There are three salt water pools (one being a small paddling pool for toddlers) and plenty of room around the pool area. Most important of all sun loungers are always available, what ever time of day. There is also a life guard on duty throughout the day.
The pool bar is large and you can get beers, wines, soft drinks and tea and coffee from 10 am onwards. There is different entertainment on every night and even if this isn't your thing it is still worth seeing. There is an entertainment team that work hard and ask if you want to get involved in events but they are not pushy, they do a good job. The no-smoking area of the bar generally gets ignored at night, so for non-smokers it is annoying, and isn't policed or enforced by bar staff. There are three internet computers in this area at 1 euro for 10 minutes but at best there was only two working and some days none.
The restaurant is large but at peak times seemed to struggle keeping up with the volume of people, so there were times when you had to wait for plates or cutlery. Food was generally good but the quality of the cooking seemed to vary and was occasionally under cooked or cold. If you get fed up of this food you can always nip just outside of the complex to Cafe Corralejo or Tiffany's for good home cooking.
Outside the complex there is the market on Mondays and Friday, worth going to. If you want beaches then there are some small ones around the harbour or large ones at Flag beach, but watch out for nudists.

After reading some of the poorer reviews we seriously considered changing our holiday to elsewhere but we are so glad that we didn't (we went past some of the other hotels which really did not match the standards of the Tamarindo)! We have just returned from the Oasis Tamarindo where we have been on honeymoon and have to say we were very impressed.
The apartment complex was fantastic, very clean and picturesque. Our apartment was lovely and clean and well appointed - lots of marble and we were very impressed.
There were lots of palm trees, landscaped gardens and wonderful views. The pools were magnificent and of an impressive size as well as the 2 large main pools, there is a small shallow pool for the little ones. We stayed all inclusive and the food/drink and general service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and tidy and always offered a good selection of food for all tastes, there was a microwave available if your food wasn't as hot as you like but I have to say ours was always fine.
I find other people's comments regarding the lack of atmosphere in the Pool Bar hard to fathom as we found it to be very pleasant and very friendly bar staff. The measures of alcohol are VERY generous and there was also internet and TV facilities available should you get the urge to catch up on affairs back home. The 'animation team' always tried hard to entertain especially the children's mini disco which was great fun to sing along too (and we are in our mid twenties!!) Would recommend taking a couple of jumpers as it can get breezy in the evening.
The town is a 20 minute walk away, however you may find getting a taxi back to the hotel is easier as it is very cheap 2.50 euros and saves you walking uphill especially in the heat! There is some nice shops and some good bargains to be found - be ready to haggle for the best price!

When reading other mixed opinions of the Oasis Tamarindo, I was anxious as to what it would be like. After staying there, I would recommend this hotel!
The place itself is extremely clean and well presented, with an immaculate reception area and the pools are excellent. The apartment was spotless and spacious and the whole place is modern.
The food is very good with a range of choices that would please even the fussiest diner. There was a choice of around five different main meals per mealtime, in any combination as well as a salad bar and many desserts so surprisingly the food never gets boring. The choices change daily. Self service soft drinks, beer and wines in the dining room are a bonus. The dining area has a lovely atmosphere, people compared this to a "school dining hall". How many school dining halls do you know with lime green walls and a caribbean theme?
The Bar serves a wide range of spirits as well as self service soft drinks and beer. This is extremely convenient when fancying a drink whilst lounging by the pool. There is entertainment for all, throughout the day- Games and activities for the kids and adults including the daily "cocktail game". The snack hour between 3:30 and 4:30pm is great, with self service items such as salald, bread, cookies, donuts as well as things like Burgers, chips and pizza from the bar.
In the evenings there is a mini disco at 8pm designed to wear the tots out before the nightly entertainment commences. Having read some people say the bar is awful, comparing it to a giant gazebo I have to disagree. You can see where this maybe once was the case but they have added a section to the side and made it more enclosed.
The location of the complex wasn't as bad as I anticipated. The main highstreet of Corralejo is a pleasant 15-20 minute stroll away, illuminated by street lighting the whole way. When planning things out of the hotel they provide a packed lunch service if you're going out and missing lunch. This proved really useful.
All of the bad points people have said about this hotel seem to have been rectified. My thoughts are that these were just teething problems when the place was new. All in all you will have a cracking time here. I thoroughly enjoyed my week here and I will definitely be returning to the Oasis Tamarindo sometime soon.

I have just returned from the Tamarindo and can say in all honesty that it exceeded my expectations - after reading some of the previous comments. I agree with Mr Burns, that I was a little anxious about the complex, but any worries soon disappeared. The complex is beautifully laid out. The gardens are lovely, and the swimming pools were fantastic. There are three pools, and there are plenty of sun beds - you could go out for the morning and return for an afternoon around the pool, and still be spoilt for choice where to sit. However it is low season now, this could change.
The food was the best we have had on an all inclusive holiday. Always something, and I can recommend the hake in white sauce, and the chick pea stew. The tuna steaks were delicious, and as previous comments state, there was always something. San Miguel on tap helps!!
There are no maids on a Friday and a Sunday, and if I had known this I may have tried to keep my towels drier on these days, but the apartments were lovely and clean, and for £20 per week we upgraded the TV so that we could have sky movies and the sports channel. This proved useful as the bar is not very comfortable in the evening - it is a great as a pool bar, but is cold and not terribly inviting in the evenings. We were not too fussed about the evening entertainment (not having children) so we were happy to take a couple of drinks back to relax in the lounge to a movie. I know this would not suit everyone, but we found it relaxing.
Corralejo is a 20 minute walk, but is worth it. A typical Spanish resort with electrical shops, restaurants etc. I can recommend the Steak House that is down the same side street as the Waikiki beach bar (which I also recommend). The steaks were lovely, and for fillet steaks for 4 of us, with sangria, and Irish Coffees the bill was around £40.
I would happily return to this complex again.

Beautiful setting with very spacious apartments. The food was okay but a little on the repetitive side. Only one bar for hundreds of people which at night often only had one bar man leading to long queues.
The entertainment was shocking and very disorganised, we ended going out a lot of nights which is annoying when you have paid for all inclusive and so called entertainment. The so called entertainment team were a joke!
I would go back to the resort as it is lovely but not to Oasis Tamarindo until they improve many things.
