arrived back on thursday and over all holiday went well! our biggest regret was paying the extra supplement for a supposidly larger room . we have 2 teenage sons so thought getting a room that sleeps 2-5 would give more space but in fact it was the same size as if we had paid for the 2-4 person room!!!! when reading reviews before we went about the pools having to be closed for long periods every day we couldn't beleive it but they actually did! beach not for small children due to large stones and steep drops with large waves. lots of pools for children if you manage to get your sunbed early. take your diarrhoea tablets and your don,t need lira cos can pay in pounds.

we got back from ours hols 12 july 2010. we went with 2 adults and 2 children (3 and 1 ) we thought the resort was exceptionally clean, cleaners were in every day, the food was of plenty and a very good standard not everything was our taste but plenty of choice so there was no worries there. the service we got from the restuarant ,bar etc was excellant, we booked the different meals and they were all of a high standard.we didnt have a problem with getting a seat by the pool and there were staff always walking about picking up glasses etc were people were to lazy to take there empties to the tray collection points. we found that there were people that were brits didnt watch there children good enough but you get that from all every country. the prices onsite were high but you expect that anywhere you go...look at haven and butlins etc.. take your own blow ups as they are expensive but pop into sarigerme for things like snacks and pop etc alot cheaper. we had alot of help from reps no complaints.. will be going back there the kids loved kids club and the holiday on the whole. so did we. need to up the evening entertainment as same kind of thing every night.
- Advice: dont buy on the resort , very clean good service all round, enjoy

IMPORTANT - DONT FORGET YOUR UNIFORM: DETAILS BELOW:
If you are thinking about booking to go here then it is essential that you fit in. As a man you will need a cropped haircut, loads of tattoos (preferably of your football club and definately the names of your kids on your back. You will also need to make sure that everything you wear has the flag of St George upon it just to make sure that any "foreigners" know how special you are (or what an idiot you are). You will also need flip-flops and a beer in your hand. For the women it is a case of a ill fitting bikini, flip- flops and again, tattoos of your kids names.
I went with my wide and two kids (8 & 10) and we were hoping for a nice place to go with nice people and lots to do. We were fine on 2 points. The place was beautiful and kept very clean. The food was varied and very nice. There was plenty to do as there are pools everywhere and some good trips to go on. Turtle watch was very good. The staff were friendly and nice but they were clearly jaded by the continuous onslaught of bad behaviour displayed by the English. The English were an embarrasment (not all you understand - but a lot!). Unbelievably rude to the staff and on some occassions even worse to their kids. Swearing at them and leaving them to fry in the 40 degree heat. We were there for the England v Germany game and it was like being in a hotel with a load of hooligans. During the game people were throwing their beer at the tv screens and one Danish couple were told to "f off, this is England". After the game there were drunken English people everywhere and inevitably there was a fight right in front of all of the kids. We were buying some souveneers from the shop when it happened and both of my kids started crying. It was truly horrible to see. We went back to our room and stayed there for the rest of the night which isn't fair as we had paid a fair price for our annual holiday and had it messed about with by these mindless, stupid idiots.
I have to say that if you are going here, please be aware that your kids will be subjected to swearing and thuggish behaviour but if you can find somewhere quiet (which we did) then you will have a lovely time.
Believe me, I am no prude and enjoy a beer and a laugh but this was not the same.
In summary, a beautiful place with great staff and food but let down completely by the English thug brigade.
I will go back to Turkey but never to this place.
- Advice: If you are a drunken thug, go.

Just got back on friday from the holiday village in turkey and loved it. 20 of us in total including 10 adults and 10 children aged from 1 to 9 years old. Hotel was spotless, room cleaned every day. Stayed in the tropical side and the food was very good, had a wide range of food for all tastes. Loved the pools and the slides. All the children in the group went to the children's club which they really enjoyed and the three younger child all went to the creche, staff were really friendly and creche was really nice. Our only complaint is about the entertainment in the tropical side at night. Overall we all had a fantastic holiday and will definately be going back, hopefully next year if possible and would recommend this hotel to families. From the Salts, Hubbucks, Baxters and the Halls.

We travelled to Turkey in June 2010 and stayed at the holiday village as part of a Thomson Cruise & Stay package. When we arrived my wife didnt like our room because it was remote from the main part of the complex and had poor views. The staff at reception were very helpful and eventually relocated us into a villa apartment at no additional charge. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff put a lot of effort into keeping it that way. The gardens are very impressive and the walkways and pool areas are also very clean and well maintained. The rooms were cleaned every day and the housekeeping service is also excellent. There are several restaurants on site with the main (all inclusive) buffet restaurant providing a wide choice of salad and fruit options, although the main courses were not so varied. The food was well presented and the restaurants kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. One tip about the buffet restaurant is to bear in mind that only the first part of it is air conditioned! The all inclusive drinks package becomes tedious after a few days because it's all 'local' spirits and beer and the soft drinks are mainly on draft or poured from bottles into plastic cups. You can buy the more popular brands of spirits at some bars (not poolside) but they are expensive - one drink cost 10TL. The entertainment was nothing special, but OK. We used the beach area a lot because it's quiet and there is never a problem getting sunbeds and shades - the downside is that the sand becomes incredibly hot and flip-flops or the like are essential.
The staff are very friendly and efficient. The guests tend to be young parents with young children who would usually be drawn to the all inclusive deal that benefits families like that. Most things shut down around midnight although one evening we were woken by our neighbours having a 'domestic' in the early hours. To be fair, security were on the scene very quickly and calmed things down effectively. The rooms have a wide range of TV channels including ITV and BBC and also have a (fairly innefective!) fridge - it's a great idea, but there isnt really much scope to buy anything to put into the fridge, apart from the bottled water provided daily by housekeeping! The complex is miles from anywhere other than saragerme village which you can explore in 20 minutes! All in all, a great hotel for families, but I'd give it a miss if you prefer peace and quiet and like to explore and take in local culture.

what can i say!! i have never ever taken reviews seriously but feel i have this to say about this place!!
Butlins in the Sun...
I have never seen so many tatoos, Piercings, and bad behaved kids in my life. Parents that are more interested in getting wasted than watching there kids... typical British!
I am disgusted of the behavour of these adults and embabrassed to be British...
Points for your survival..
Take lots of packets of crisps with you.
Take your own coffee if you drink it.
Take a bottle of Squash for your kids as there juicce makes them Hyperactive.
Get up at 7.30 am every morning to get a sun bed or you will have to lie on the grass.
Take trainer to go to the beach, we were there for 2 weeks and went there once, the grit is so sharp it will HURT your feet.
Take inflatables with you or you will pay £20.00 + for a them.
Cigerettes are about the same as home so buy them in the airport in the uk.
Watch the icecream found several pubic hairs in them.
eating in the buffet is like feeding time in the zoo, you will see when you get there, english people have no care about hygiene using ther hands for everything, when there are tongs provided.
Watch babies in the little pools large dingies are aloud in there which several babies where caught under neath which causes panic and drowning. ( i did complain but nothing was done)
Keep shoes on your kids - very slippery around the pool, and glass around all bars with glasses served.
Not enough staff for the number of people.
I could go on, but any working class person with mourals and respect should NOT set foot in this hotel. It is a disaster zone... over sold by First Choice it should be a 2 star and nothing more. Those that enjoyed it would do if you met them..
Will never set foot in this place ever ever ever again, glad to be home this morning......

Had the best time ever! It had everything a family could ask for. 17 swimming pools, brilliant entertainment day and night, good food and from my experience lovely people Turkish and the British. I had a jakuzzi suit which is just a small bath which I thought would be a large corner bath on the balcony ha it was in the bathroom and not really a feature, the rooms were great though and I had a lovely view of the pool, sea and hills. My little one met bob the builder and a fluffy thing called a widget and was entertained by loads of shows and loved stay and play at the crèche which was free. There were great comedians on to such as a comedian fr britains got talent who was fantastic so funny! Don't need to take towels u get them there get clean ones ad much as u want (on arrival u get cards to exchange for towels) u obviously get towels in your room fresh every day. Was impressed with everything Reading some reviews experience of other holiday makers are not good but I must say everyone was lovely and even whilst England couldn't manage to put a goal in against Algeria spirits were good and there was no bad behaviour also no dirty nappies lying around or children left to go toilet in pools. Not one of us got I'll either the place was clean and I didn't see a bug or get a mosi bite. As soon as u get there book your reservations for the a la carte do this between 10 and 11 near reception there is a lady at a desk who does this. Would recommend this place to everyone best holiday ever!

After booking the hotel last minute I went on the internet and went on holidaywatchdog, there are lots of mixed reviews saying good and bad things so we was a little unsure.
We arrived late at night all very tired we were told to put a tag on our cases with the room number on and our cases would be taken to our room.25mins our bags arrived at the room by these two young lads who stood there waiting for a tip holding there hands out we found it rather rude and a bit pushy,we did not tip them.
The room we had was a jacuzzi suite which was very nice, very clean.
We went with our 2 children aged 12 and 10 they loved the slides at both pools so we spent most of our time at these they come on in the morning then in the afternoon.
we did have two swimming pools closed while we were there children pooing in the pool.
ice creams are at 3pm so there is a queue but they are worth waiting for.
The food was good something for everybody
None of us were ill while we were there.
We did go to the beach to go on the banana boat which was £7.00 each.
The ony bad points were :-
1..people not putting there rubbish in the bins the amount of times you would find ice creams wedged down the side of the sunbeds.
2..people who didnt watch there children and they would wonder off this happenend 3 times while we where there mainly at night.
3..getting a sun bed you need to get up early to get a bed ,we did this with our blue towels you get but when you go back down to the beds after breakfast someone has taken a towel,so if I went back I would take some cheap towels with me.
4.. Trips:
We booked our trips through Sarigerme Tours and they were fantastic - we went to the Turkish baths and also on the mud baths tour and , jeep safari were fantastic, good value for money (much cheaper than first choice) and it gave us a nice break from all the noise of the hotel - would definitely recommend!
We had a really great holiday ,and yes we would go back.

Fantastic holiday!!!! We travelled out on the 24th July for one week. After reading some of the reviews on here I was very concerned about the holiday and the facilities for the children. I really don't know why I was worried, there was plenty of activities for the children, the hotel was so clean and kept tidy at all times. I'm not a snob but must admit I do have high standards and I believe the holiday village resort was well kept and would recommend it to everyone. One complaint and it wasn't about the reps or the hotel staff but the parents, the main pool had to be closed 3 times during our stay because of children doing their business in the pool, absolutely disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves!!!!! We stayed on the Tropical side, entertainment was good our children aged 5 and 7 loved it, the older ones aged 13 and 14 were a bit bored but were more than happy to go back to the room and watch TV or read. At the end of the day a holiday is what YOU make it, stay away from the loud mouths (the resort is big enough to find a quiet place) and enjoy it!!!!!!!!!
