Red Roof Inn

I have stayed at this property a number of times and always find it clean and convenient. It is a good value and location if your are interested in Disney or the other central Florida attractions. The area is safe and there is a WalMart SuperCenter only two minutes from the front door. The Orlando International Airport is 20 minutes away and there are a host of restaurants in the immediate area. The heated pool and hot tub and an added bonus.

it is no far away from main atractions in orlando, but the Tv does not work, no shampoo not good people around

We needed somewhere to stay on our last day of our vacation that was pretty close to Disney and especially the airport as we had to leave hotel at 5:15 am to get to MCO in time for our morning flight. We checked in about 6 pm so for $38.24 is not a bad deal for a bed to sleep in and a working shower. For that price you would expect something disgusting but I was surprised at how clean it was and I'm a clean freak. The check in was quick and when we got to the room it was smoking and I wanted non smoking. The front desk clerk was able to quickly switch us to a non smoking room without a problem. The room was newer and very clean. The beds were actually very comfortable and we fell asleep right away. We didn't use the outdoor pool as we were beached out from being on vacation all week and being at beaches or pools the whole time. We did find dinner very close and drove to Downtown Disney, about 15 minutes away. If you want a very cheap rate for a decent and clean place to sleep and don't spend very much time in your room at all, this is the place. The location to Disney and the airport are ideal and for less than $40, it was a great option.

it's ok if you have dogs, but otherwise, would pick something better like the new la quinta....cheap rates for sure, only thing i liked doing there was laying out by the pool....minimal swimwear ok with management, so i laid out in a thong, no problems....

front desk said they renovated 4 months ago, but the box spring looked 20 years old, the faucet had crud and brown spots on wall. i checked out the next morning. went next door and was very happy.

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn. Our non-smoking room smelled strongly of perfume. The bed was extra hard. They have started to paint and refurbish... and it's just in time. Hope they put in new beds, linens furnishings. The landscaping needs help too. If I hadn't purchased the nights online I wouldn't have stayed.

When a deal is too good to be true, it usually is, and this hotel proved it. Upon our arrival, I noticed the sign on the side of the building said "_ED ROO_ _NN" The blanks being the letters which were not lit up. At that point we should have turned around and left, but it was late and figured we'd try it. The front desk worker was very friendly, and when I inquired to make sure we got a non-smoking room he said he wasn't sure, but it should be. My wife is 5 months pregnant so we couldn't stay in a smoking room. So I took our key and headed to our room.. The elevator was disgusting.. Stained, noisy, and generally felt unsafe.. We got to our room and opened the door.. It was a smoking room, complete with ashtray on the table. Went back to front desk, no other rooms available. We called our travel arranger and told them we were leaving.. Got a full refund and ended up staying at Savona Suites on Palm Parkway. I should also mention that there was a feeling of non-security there.. We arrived at 11:00pm and there were a bunch of kids hanging out by the pool, and in their doorways making lots of noise. As for the size of the room? Very small and not very clean. Stay away from this place in my opinion. Cannot believe there were actually good reviews on this place. If you don't believe my opinion, I think you will be sorry. Thankyou for letting me vent!!

we went on our disney vacation on the week of 4/17-4/20. the staff was very friendly and accomodating. the hotel was very close to disney, which I liked. I got the type room I requested with a fridge and microwave, and it was N/S downstairs, 1st floor. My mother-in law's room was next door, instead of adjoining as we requested, but that was ok. the only problem with her room is that on the door it said N/S but the horrible odor of cigs was in the room, and Lysol cannot mask that odor. The rooms were nice and clean, except for my TV which had to be fixed the next day,but it was better when we returned from Disney. The only downfall for this hotel was that I had to walk to the hotel lobby and request towels every night, and if you stay here, be sure to request towels AND WASHCLOTHS! If you don't you will get one, maybe two towels, and a hand towel, but no wash cloths. All in all, it was a great stay for the price. I will stay here again on my next Orlando trip.

For $45 a night, I felt like this was just an ok experience. We had a remodeled room on the third floor - the AC was quiet, but it wasn't working well. We were VERY warm our first night. We tried a different room the 2nd night, but that AC was too loud, so we stuck it out in the original room, as the weather was cooler that night. The maids never brought us glasses to use, which was a little annoying. There were ants in the sink area the 1st night, but after we complained, they were gone. The staff was friendly, and it was a good location, and a safe area. However, I will look for a different hotel next Disney trip.

This is a older hotel that in renovating its rooms slowly. The first room we were given on the second floor had a very noisy air conditioner so we asked to be changed. The room we were given on the third floor had a new air unit as did all the rooms on the third floor. The rooms are ok if your not too fussy,a little cramped with a very small bathroom area. The continental breakfast is very basic muffins with juice and coffee. The best part of this hotel is the pool area which is nice and has a hot tub spa which is very nice after a day of walking the parks or shopping. The staff were very friendly and helpful but be aware the maids start cleaning early so be sure to use your do not disturb sign if you want to sleep in.
