Having spent what we considered to be...

Having spent what we considered to be a lot of money for a one room "apartment" we were very disappointed. "Bedsit" would describe the room better with a door that had to be locked to ensure it closed properly. The "Kitchen area" is in fact a cupboard and the room wasn't cleaned every day - or even half the time.
Whilst the drinks & food were reasonable prices the horrendous noise that went on every night until at least 2am, sometimes 4am almost ruined our holiday. Do not stay here; you will get no sleep, the bar staff are indeed friendly but the owner doesn't give two hoots.
The local beach and tavernas are lovely and thank goodness for us as that helped prevent our holiday being ruined but this resort is not to be recommended to families with children or anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Fantastic holiday, definitely going...

Fantastic holiday, definitely going back next year! The hotel is great for the money although the maids tend to wake you as they do come round early.
Food in the hotel is nice they do a special in the evening its is always a great price, if you watching the cash. All the restaurants are nice its just in some you have to wait along time (Enigma and Artemis) we waited one hour in Artemis but if you get in enigma early its fast but there is some wasps.
Terpsis is the best place to go and there is even a Chinese. Counting the days till I go back.

May 2006, Mrs J Edmunds

This was the second time we had been to the Finas and we were just as pleased with our holiday as we were in 2000, we have booked to go back in June 2006 .
The pool area is great for children and the complex is safe for them to explore, the staff are very friendly and Aris well what can I say! Can’t sing but makes good cocktails for the kids. Can’t wait to return.

We have been to the Finas twice now and love it more every time, the rooms are lovely the pool nice and the staff make you feel so at home even going as far as to remember your name and nothing is too much trouble. As a young family we will be returning again,
The food is beautiful and loyalty to the Finas for such a wonderful holiday, is a must so we ate there and loved the BBQ's they were our favourite, we would recommend it to all who want a family holiday and not alot of fuss.

I feel that this resort was one of the most friendly resorts i have ever stayed in, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. You could not ask for a better resort. The rooms are very clean and modern. It is well situated and you are close to the beach and the main high street.
The pool is a nice size with plenty of sun beds ( you don’t have to get up and put your towel down, which is always a bonus!!!! ) We will be returning to this resort next year, that is very rare for us because we enjoy exploring. We just felt this best holiday ever, and we thank all the staff at Finas apartments, especially Aris!!!!

Our family holiday was in the first 2...
9 / 10
Aug 2005, Mr I R Poynter

Our family holiday was in the first 2 weeks of the school holidays for my wife and I, 35 and 39, and kids 11 and 9. We had a ground floor room at the front of the complex with a very small veranda, although we moved the table and chairs out onto the large slabbed area to sit at when we returned from a night out.
The room was clean and quite modern, having been refurbished over the winter, with cooking facilities (2 rings, toaster and kettle) a fridge and storage in a neat cabinet along with a double fold up bed settee and the aircon unit (80 euros for 2 weeks) in the front. There was a corridor past the bathroom, which included a lovely power shower, which led into the main bedroom.
Note no dividing door between the rooms though although I believe other double rooms did have one for privacy. The bedroom had 2 nice sized beds pushed together, a large dressing table, 2 bedside tables and a very large wardrobe with lots of hanging space and shelves.
There was a window at the front and 2 tiny windows along the side although these couldn’t be opened because they were at ground level outside along a path, so the bedroom was dark and had to have the lights on to see even in the day.
The pool is reasonably sized with a small children’s pool and the whole area around packed with sunbeds. There are two tiers of patio areas above with more sunbeds on each looking down over the pool area. There are plenty of fixed sun brollies on all levels, good for keeping the kids out of the sun, but if you want all day sunshine you had to keep manoeuvring the beds around.
The pool area gets very crowded but you can escape for a beer or two at the bar (2.50 euros a pint of beer, cider was about 3.50 I think), and has two pool tables, 3 TV’s and a big screen showing mainly sport. The whole area is set against a rock face with palm trees and a beautiful waterfall cascading down. Keep a look out for the two peacocks which strut around the front gardens during the day!
The restaurant is poolside and served breakfasts (6.50 euros for a full English, toast and tea) and snacks (pitta gyros 1.80, burgers 2.00 euros) all day and at night a surprisingly varied choice of international cuisine (garlic bread, soup and a steak dinner is about 12 euros, and wine from about 5 euros upwards). Karaoke and BBQ twice a week and watching footy is the evening entertainment, when the pool and surrounding rock face and waterfall are lit up with a beautiful array of lights.
There is a sandpit area with swings and slides which suits from tots to 8/9 year olds. The reception area is manned 24 hours and sells papers and magazines and has 3 computers with broadband internet for free use, which was a nice touch if you feel you can't keep away from your email or instant messaging!
You sometimes have to wait while the kids finish their games though. I hired a safety deposit box but then after a few days I noticed 3 of them broken open (flimsy locks on wooden boxes).
I mentioned this to reception who said they had probably lost their keys and had to be broken, so I chanced it after that by keeping cheques and passports in the room. There are secure boxes in a travel agents down the road though.
A note about the staff, they are extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. It's about a ten minute walk to the lovely sandy beach (two sunbeds and a brolly 8 euros, so get there early or sit on the sand).
There are 3 beachside tavernas and many more along with mini markets up the road to the village centre. Tavernas and bars a plenty along the main road, all serving lovely food, and it's only a five minute stroll home.
9/10 overall, a nice place within a good location in Pefkos.

We had our family holiday at Finas...

Jul 2005, Mrs P Boyd

We had our family holiday at Finas Apartments this year. We have been to Rhodes several times in the past. The rooms were clean and modern with aircon (80 euros for 2 weeks) worth every penny!!!! Especially after baking in sun all day.
There is a sandpit with swings for the kids to play in.
The staff at the Finas Apartments were first class especially Jimmy, Kathy, Eddie and of course Aris!!!!! You all made us feel right at home. My two children really took to Jimmy and Eddie and cant wait to go back again. We have already booked up again for next year.
The resort was beautiful and the weather was fantastic as usual. The supermarket was just 5 minute walk away great everything right on your doorstep.
The restaurants all had good selection of traditional Greek food and if not they also had great selection for the children.
I would have no hesitations recommending Finas Apartments to couples with families in fact suitable for all ages.
