Just returned from the Matina Apartments, Pefkos. Had a brilliant time. The apartments are approx 25m from the main beach and it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the town centre -ideally situated. Pefkos is a great resort for couples looking for a relaxing holiday. The hotel could not be faulted and the staff were very helpful indeed.
Air/con still a must in Sept - cost 40 Euros for 1 week - couldn’t have done without it.
Plenty of restaurants/bars to choose from, not one bad meal all week - Hellas restaurant is a must.
Faliraki waterpark - excellent day out - with or without kids!!

Just returned from our 2nd visit to Matina. This is the only place we have ever returned to because we like to try other places. It was 4 years since we last went and were unsure we had made the right choice by going back in spite of a fabulous time we had on our first trip there.
All I can say it was even better than we remembered. The resort, accommodation, staff, facilities are second to none and although I would like to see as much of the world as possible I would return again and again. I am finding it difficult to get back to my ordinary way of like because the place and people have had such an impact of my life while I was there. Fantastic.

Just arrived back from Pefkos in Rhodes. Stayed at the Matina Apartments about 20m from the beach.
We had a fantastic time - so laid back and relaxing. The hotel could not be faulted and our apartment was facing the sea and the most amazing sunsets you could imagine!
Not a particularly busy resort but the friendliness was second to none! There are some fabulous restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend Enigma restaurant / wild west bar / fuse bar but to name a few..
I’ve only rated the holiday a 9 out of 10 - because I’m sure I will have to go back to see if I can make it a perfect 10!

It was the first time we had, had a holiday abroad with our children and from the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The staff were so friendly and helpful the resort was so lovely could not be faulted.
We are now in the process of arranging this years holiday and we are going back to the matina apartments and are bringing other members of our family with us, and I can't wait x
