We have just come back from the Thetis Apartments in Thassos and could not fault one thing.
The apartments are bright and clean, the maid came every day, the swimming pool and bar on site is excellent and the hotel owner could not do anymore to help her guests.
We would definitely go back to Thetis, although it is a 20-30 minute walk into town this is beautiful in the day and evening and gives you chance to walk through the back lanes or via the harbours.
We loved it! 10/10.

This was my second time to the Thetis apartments and boy what a difference a year can make.
People that had children we told their children were not allowed in the pool every afternoon because of siesta time, adults were not allowed to play ball in the pool also at this time. One evening we were told to go to bed because the owner was worried about noise. Money was not refunded to people that had safety deposit boxes. This was not made clear. We paid £35.00 for a fan for the room. The reps couldn’t give one iota of interest. The owners were concerned about noise because of a group of people that travelled with Kosmar a week earlier caused a problem. I don’t see how the owners of the Thetis can put so many restrictions on their clients and that Kosmar are allowing them to do so.
The apartments are still very clean and the island smashing, we will go to Thassos again but sorry to say not to return back to the Thetis.

A fantastic relaxing holiday, super position, a very friendly clean family run business.
We have already booked to go back this year.
There are lots of places to eat and drink all within a short walking distance of the Thetis.
Thassos is unspoiled by tourists.
Don’t be put of by the ferry trip to the island, it is fun and very well organized.
You will not be disappointed with Thetis apartments...or by Thassos town.

I really enjoyed my stay in the Thetis apartments.
It had everything I needed a descent sized pool, a pool bar serving snacks and plenty of sunbeds around the pool side.
The rooms were a good sized with a descent sized balcony, but the only down side is that at night in the hottest time of the year (July-august) the rooms get very hot up to around 85oc and there is no air condition.
The apartments are situated about 20 minutes away from the town centre, making them quite at night and throughout the day. But throughout the day as the apartments are set on a road there is sometimes large lorries passing, it doesn’t happen that often though.
So overall I really enjoyed me stay in Thassos I would recommend the Thetis Studios and apartments to anyone.

Just returned from a scorching two weeks in Thassos. Stayed in the Thetis Apartments which were really rather nice.
Rooms are very basic (as they are in Greece) but they were comfortable and cleaned on a daily basis. Cooking facilities are a bit of a non-starter but there is a fridge (with freezer bit) and a kettle for the important cup of tea.
There is a nice pool area and a bar area that is open all day.
The owners, Thetis and Costos, are very friendly people and any restrictions suggested in other reviews would have only been for the majority of the guests benefit. - (we don't all want noisy kids spoiling our sleep now do we?)
Thomson suggest there is a beach 300m away which is a bit of a joke. The sea is 300m away but it's not really a beach down there. There are some fantastic beaches on Thassos, the well known ones get busy but you'll always find one nearby that's not.
Town centre is a 15 minute stroll away and there are loads of great places to eat, food is very reasonable and you can eat out well a couple of drinks for about £10 each.
If you want to hire a car and I suggest you MUST to see the Island and get to the beaches expect to pay around 20 Euros (£14) a day. We got ours from Budget just down the road towards town and it couldn't have been easier. (Don't book a more expensive one before you go, as there's no difference in service).
Don't forget the sun tan lotion, this place is HOT. And the mozzis are a bit of a pain too. It's rather warm at night to say the least so it may be best to get Air-con, I was too tight to pay for it, and the nights were hot and restless.
All in all, if you like it quiet and you don't mind a bit of a walk into town then Thetis is the place for you. We had a great time there and the locals are really friendly. Have a meal at Zorbas in town; Yannis is a lovely bloke, also try the Thassian for sea food.
