If you are looking for Disney's typically high standards then you will not be disappointed if you take one of their cruises!
Cabins; are surprisingly generous, well appointed and the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on on holiday. Plenty of storage space plus handy pull out drying line above the bath.
Food & drink; all day long - fabulous dining rooms with fabulous food - you will never go hungry. You can also use room service free of charge (just tip a few $s) - very handy for gaining a bit more cruise time and less weight at breakfast time!! You can also pre- book Palo, the speciality adult only restaurant, for a small extra nominal fee for brunch, high tea or dinner (first two not available on the 3 night cruise) - well worth it. You pay for alcoholic drinks and any from the bars, but there is a free soft/hot drinks station on deck 9.
Kids clubs; prepare to be single again! We hardly saw our children all cruise. Several kids club age groups / sub age groups, which are open till 11pm and are never oversubscribed. Disney are kids cruise specialists, so relax!
Shore excursions; we didn't try any official Disney organised ones as they seemed expensive and IMO, really not necessary if it’s your first trip. In Nassau we took ourselves to the Pirate Museum, just a short walk from the ship - cheap and just the right length, with an excellent pirate shop & pub attached.
Castaway Cay is Disney's own private island where you have a wonderful day on their beach - food included. Note though that they start to pack up the food & drinks an hour before you are due back on board, so get your last orders in before 2.30pm.
For the day at sea there's a wide range of activities available including the usual range of cruise ship spa treatments, but it was great to just sit/lie and chill on the decks near the pools.
Entertainment; there's always something going on - you get a personal navigator under your door each day to tell you what is on and where (a highlighter pen is useful). The evening shows are almost West End quality, and are repeated to ensure both early and late seating can see them.
We did the 4 night cruise (3 days) - if you get the choice, do this over the 3 night (2 days) cruise, as the cost is only a bit more... but you will be so glad of that extra day !!! Actually, whatever the length of cruise, you will find it is not long enough - so you have been warned... Disney cruising is highly addictive!!!! All the more reason to remember to rebook when ON BOARD for a nice 10% discount off your next one (you can always cancel later with NO penalties!).
For the best deals book directly with DCL on their website or an established AmericanT/A cruise specialist such as Dreams unlimited, Allseasons, Vacationstogo, Costa, Walmart etc.

This was our 2nd cruise, with Disney and we absolutely loved it, we are in our early fifties and had no children with us, my friends thought we must be mad to select Disney as they said it would be full of kids, but Disney have an 'Adult only pool' and it is really quite quiet because there are lots of families on board who use the 'Family pool'. Nassau wasn't very special but the highlight of the cruise was the 2 stops at Disney's own private caribbean island "Castaway Cay", this was absolutely gorgeous and as they also have an 'adult only' beach which was really quiet, we felt like we were on our own private island most of the time. Considering we took this cruise in the kids summer holiday break I don't think there could have been a quieter beach anywhere else in the world!
Much of the entertainment is for kids but I still get a kick out of seeing Mickey Mouse walking by on deck and loved all the Disney shows.
The food is fabulous and the service excellent, Can't wait to cruise again on the beautiful
