The park is very well presented and gives a very good first impression. This is an excellent park, although if visiting for a week you may run out of things to do. I would recommend this park highly for long weekend visitors.
The only gripe I had is that we went during the hottest week so far this year, and the subtropical swim paradise and Market dome were more like a sauna than a paradise. A few electrical fans here and there would have been appreciated to keep the heat down.
All in all - I would recommend this park for weekend visitors.

This site among others used to be run by Gran Dorado, and they were recently (2 years) taken over by Centre Parks. We have done them both under Gran Dorado and Centre Parks. We have been to Loohorst twice and the one in Heilbachsee in Germany 3 times under both operators.
The Bungalows are not as clean as they were under Gran Dorado, neither is the Park.
Since Centre Parks have took over they have gone worse. We will not be going back again now. This year has been the worst, so many things have changed over the past couple of years, its not as much fun as it used to be. The site in Loohorst (Holland) is boring if you plan to stay for a full week, there is not much to do really other than the swimming pool or sit in the Market Dome where the bars, shops and restaurants are situated.
For the kids there are a few playgrounds dotted around the site and the kids club is not much good any more as parents have to stay with the kids now, unless they know how to get to the Bungalow by themselves, where as before you could leave the kids for 2 hours and then pick them up.
The park in Germany is better as there is more to do and there are more places to visit outside of the park. The lovely Tourist Town of Cochem is 30 min drive away and is totally picturesque, and we never tire of it. There is lots of wine tasting, shops, souvenir shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, icecream parlours and trips up the Moselle. Well worth a visit.
But please bring back Gran Dorado... was much much better then.
