Was looking forward to this holiday after reading the reviews but was very disappointed overall, glad we were only staying one week.
Although no-one can do anything about the weather we were not warned that it is usually cloudy/misty everyday, we only had 2 sunny days the week we were there and it was sometimes cold and misty all day.
To get a sun lounger you have to get up early and put towels out to reserve one, sometimes these were 'taken' by other people so you couldn't leave the lounger for too long. The sun loungers have no padding so are not very comfortable. Incidently beach towels are provided as part of the all inclusive which we hadn't been told.
The food was not very good, usually only luke warm (if you're lucky) and very repetative and not much choice compared to all the other all inclusive holidays we've had.
The grill is probably the best choice of restaurant, I wouldn't recommend the Moroccan restaurant as both my wife and I had upset stomachs after eating there.
To get a meal on the last night you have to pay extra even though we missed the meal on the first night as we didn't get to the hotel until 11pm so its not totally 'all inclusive'.
The room was cleaned daily but not to a high standard, empty cups and glasses were not removed for 2-3 days. Although generally the hotel was clean glasses were not always collected from around the sun loungers and pool area.
The only good points about this hotel were the pools, they were nice (although quite cold as there was little sunshine) and the drinks were good e.g. coffee, hot chocolate and the beer, gin, whiskey etc. There were not any real queues at the bar but quite often the french would push in and expect to be served first. If you only required soft drinks or beer they were on tap next to the bar so you could help yourself but you did have to use the bar for coffee or spirits.
Overall I would not recommend or return to this hotel.

I am 13 and i went with my family. Our age range were between 13 and 18 for the children and we always found something to do. We all found the hotel Exquisite and interesting. There were loads of activities for the whole family to get involved in. We had a brill time, the Catering was exillent and the hotel all together was clean and well presented. The food was fantastic but we didn't try it morrocon side of food but the food was still great. All the time we were there the staff always made us feel welcome and always wore a smile. Even around the pool we found it was quiet and peaceful and there was always someone round the pool to clear up or inform you of all the activities. The room was great all clearn and well organised. We were always topped up with drinking water to put in the mini frigde. I found it on the whole the best vacation of all time where i could have fun in the day and chill out and watch the sunset at night. And i will never forget it. So thanks

I went with my daughters aged 19 and 12 and a baby aged 17 months. It was very beautiful, the pools were wonderful, the place was immaculately clean, people were always cleaning the pools and beach. The accommodation was roomy with lashings of hot water and plenty of soft towels. Everything, including the beach were so accessible which is great if you have a baby or toddler. Very child friendly and helpful. The food was delicious with lots of choice, tempting to stuff your face though cos its a buffet. Loved the Moroccan restaurant cos it had a relaxing atmosphere. All the drinks are free all the time, including alcoholic ones and mint tea available in the main reception with cakes and a chat with the host. There is entertainment if you want it but we declined apart from an organised visit. the tv is good, lots of channels and good picture. pool is available to play in the hotel which i liked. No need to worry if you dont speak the language, the hotel staff were fluent in english.

Just got back from a week .Great place if you dont mind playing second fiddle to the Germans and French who get waited on hand and foot!!
Thomson didnt bother to tell us of the significant noise and diesel fumes from all the beach building- still nothing on their site today!!The rep never even bothered to come back to us after we raised it either!
Food good although quite often cold- desserts were excellent though.
Too many time restrictions on opening of shop. gym and internet
Not a 4 star but a good 3 star site- the former respond when there is no hot water- and spotlights hanging down from your bedrom ceiling!!

My wife & I were here for 2 weeks in Sept 05.
Excellent location for a complete R&R holiday with top class catering and wonderful service. The staff at all times show a genuine interest in your needs and see that you receive the best. Modest tipping is welcome by the energetic bar staff who will seek your eye if the bar is busy.
Our rooms in the main building were bright, spacious and clean with lovely views of the gardens. The grounds are beautiful to walk in and are well lit for evening strolls. The pre/post dinner entertainment in the lobby bar is just enough to entertain without being too intrusive if you wish to sit a little away from the area.
Private beach with security to prevent annoyance from beach vendors is good.
Any criticism of the hotel I found was that dining tables are a little too closely positioned in places.
The tourist centre of Agadir is a reasonable walk with little to offer, but I am restricting our observations to the hotel.

We are still dreaming from my wonderful stay in RIU TIKIDA.
This is the place where you can just stay in the hotel. There is so much going on every hour from Aqua Gym to Arabic class, pin pong, belly dancing,etc..not to mention the Spa for a massage and Hamam. The gym and the
