Submitted By: Miss A TaphouseAgadir itself is a very nice place. In hindsight we would have taken some warmer clothes for the evenings as the temperature seemed to drop quite dramatically after about 6 o'clock. We were quite unlucky with the weather overall but the hotel was fabulous which totally made up for it!

As for the bad comments left i completley disagree, they are a poor country so really if you want cruise value at the captins table then this probably is not for you. It was a great experiance the staff are fantastic really made us welcome and entertainment all day if you like of relax at the other pools.
We all had an amazing time this was a few of ours first time and some have been going for 5years running.
They cater for all ages and server great food... and lots of it!!
The staff really have the best customer service I have recived in a very long time they really love their job.
We did not find a problem, with sunbeds really good value for money...
We are all going again soon!!

Submitted By: Miss Tmr Ismael1. The food in the buffet was always the best but if trying the themed meals I would only put forward the pizza (which also is a snack bar in the day time);
2. Rooms were basic but decent - if you would like 2 separate rooms just ask to be moved;
3. The entertainment was great and really funny.
The only let down was the sun beds, you had to wake up at 5am just to get one in a decent spot.
All in all don’t listen to the other comments. If you’re thinking of going here I strongly recommend it and I will be going again this year.

I have to say a special thanks to all the bar staff (pool bar) who are absolutely amazing & the reason I return to Tamlelt year after year.
This hotel has everything including its own mini market which is good fun to barter with the locals, beware though, one person will try his upmost to rip you off, he tried to charge me 200 dh for some cream that was actually 15 dh in the local store, bit of a chancer so be careful.
Even after the hotel bars are closed there is always the nightclub solambo if you fancy dancing the night away or if you’re really desperate the techno bar which is more for the kids but all in all plenty of action at night.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, the staff are great, the entertainment is fab & the choice of food is exceptional!!

Submitted By: Miss S V HutchinsonThe rooms were very basic, very, and small! We had a few problems with it i.e... A plug socket was coming away from the wall, the bathroom door did not lock and the balcony door had broken glass in and they did not lock properly.
Some people we met had had to move rooms and others had a smaller room than ours. The balcony was an ideal size, however only had two tacky plastic seats and what looked like a stool for you to use as your table.
The 4 pools were all nice; however there were never enough sun loungers or parasols! If you get up after 8am in the morning you were highly unlikely to get one. So if you are looking to get some lie-ins on your holiday... don't go here!
However the animations team do work very hard to get everybody involved and enjoying themselves! Most of the staff here are lovely however there are the odd ones who can be rude.
Throughout our 2 weeks in the El Pueblo Tamlelt Hotel, I suffered severe stomach pains everyday, which caused me to faint the day after we arrived and made me spend a whole day in bed. Everyone I spoke to had at least one of their parties who had a similar experience to this.
The food was buffet style, however mostly salad and if you want hot meals there is not a lot of choice unless you use the a la carte restaurants, we only tried the pizzeria and the steak house, but both of these were very nice. We also went off the complex to eat during the second week as we were fed up with the food the hotel was serving.
On our last day, we did not fly until 8pm in the evening, however like most hotels had to vacate our rooms by 12pm and hand in our wristbands to reception. If we were also informed we were not allowed lunch as we had arrived at 10 am, and so should have had lunch the day we arrived and couldn't have it both days!
We were told to get lunch we would have to pay £7 each and extra for any drinks from the bars while we waited to be collected. However after seeing and tasting the food at this hotel I would not choose to pay extra for another meal!
However the holiday is what you make and we did enjoy ourselves, but we would not stay here again and we would not recommend others to go here.

Submitted By: Mrs L DavisThe meals were canteen style and consisted of the same luke warm food for lunch and dinner everyday. We ate out quite a few times as you can only take so much cold pasta. This was classed as an all inclusive holiday but far from it. We had to pay for ice creams, crepes and the hire of all sports equipment. It cost £25.00 to hire the safe for 2 weeks and the same as a deposit on the beach towels.
The hotel beach is next to a construction site and is a roped area on the beach to stop the beach vendors constantly hassling you. But as soon as you leave the area to go to the sea you are a prime target.
3 out of our party of 4 were ill with stomach problems and each spent 3 days in bed. The plastic cups used for drinks are not washed but run under the tap between guests.
I have been on many all inclusive holidays but this has been the worst. I could not recommend anyone to go to this hotel.

Submitted By: Miss Z REDFEARNOn arrival make sure that you have a pen to hand as you will have to fill in some form of visa at the resort airport, please be aware that this is quite a lengthy process especially if there are a few of you travelling and they do not provide pens so if you don't take one you will have an even longer wait, my other advice is to take one of the forms with you to fill out ready for your departure as this will also save you a lot of waiting around.
When you leave the airport there will be some men in grey suits trying to take your suitcases to the coach, they are completely harmless but will expect a tip and you probably won't have any money to give them as Morocco is a closed currency which means that you can only change your money once in resort and you will have to change it on leaving the country at the airport as outside of Morocco it's useless.
Travelling into resort you will go through some very poor parts of Morocco and what can only be described as small shanty towns, please don't worry as it does start to get better nearer to the hotel.
On arrival at the hotel you will again be asked to fill out some forms but you should be a pro at it by now ha ha..........
There is not much more I can tell you other than what people have put below, the rooms are spotless although don't expect luxury as it's not, but at the end of the day it's a base, we gave our maid 20 dirhams a day which is about £1.25 in English money, it wasn't a lot to us but meant the world to her and this ensured a brilliant job everyday.
The food is ok and you will always find something to eat, we ate in the main buffet restaurant every day and the staff were very helpful, you will probably find that you end up with the same waiter everyday and that's because they want a nice tip off you at the end of your hols, but they honestly don't expect much so don't feel under pressure........ You have to book the themed restaurants between 10.00 and 12.00 and the queues were very long and the guys booking them were very slow and on speaking to people they weren't worth the wait anyway.
I am an over protective mother and I was very wary about booking my son who's 7 into the kids clubs as I have never done this on an holiday before, anyway after much moaning from him I went down and had a good look round and they are fantastic, very safe and plenty for the kids to do and again the staff are excellent and it's also a good way for your kids to meet other cultures as there are plenty of French and Danish kids there, they run from 9 till 12 and then 2 till 5.
I went for one of the 2hr massages as it was only 20.00 (bargain) anyway if you feel uncomfortable strutting round with a paper g-string on and having your bum and boobs rubbed then I advise that you don't go.......... I didn't like it and felt very uncomfortable but one of the lads that went with us thought it was amazing (typical).
It does get cold at night and therefore Air con is definitely not needed in the rooms, make sure that you take a cardigan as entertainment is round the various pools and it does get choppy.
The lads that we went with booked excursions galore; they did Quad biking which they said was fantastic (be prepared to come back filthy) Horse riding on the beach, jet skiing, surfing, fishing, the only one that they booked through the hotel was the quads and they felt very comfortable booking outside of the hotel as the locals are very friendly and believe me if the excursion doesn't exist they will create it for you.
Would I go back to Morocco??? Yes without a shadow of a doubt it beats your mainland Spain and Balearic's any day of the week cause it is unspoiled and actually still as plenty of culture, it's not just Blackpool with heat so if that's what you want then you had better stick to Spain.........Enjoy!!!!!

Submitted By: Miss L AlisonThe food is buffet style but there is lots of choice and often very good. A la carte restaurants are available but at a supplement which was a bit disappointing as we were all inclusive! Surprisingly the range of drinks included in full board was larger than expected including many spirits!
The entertainment was more suitable for younger fans but very good and well organised as there was always something to watch or do! Activities during the day are fun and there is a large number of things to do... watch out for the water polo guy, he won’t take no for an answer!
All in all a brilliant holiday! I would definitely go back to this hotel! The staff are excellent and probably made the holiday its best. If you can, try the camel riding and quad biking, excellent!

Submitted By: Miss Sl WilliamsThe food was alright I just tended to stick to the same food everyday, sometimes if you went for your food near to the end of serving then it would be cold, so if you do go for food go for it the earliest time possible you are guaranteed that it will be hot. The staff in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful.
The pool and surrounding area of the pool was also clean and tidy. At night we all went to the main bar where all the entertainment was it was great, the animation team were lovely bunch of people, they work very hard to keep everybody happy. I enjoyed the dancing and the different shows they had on every night. You couldn’t ask for a better animation team and bar staff they made your holiday, making you laugh always.
After the shows and entertainment finished at 12:00 there is the Techno bar on the complex that is open till 4am but you have to buy your drinks. It is lively and plays all the music we have over here, mainly RnB and dance which was good for us.
Me and my sister enjoyed it that much that we have already booked to go back again at the beginning of October 2007.

We arrived at Agadir Airport and spent a while filling in forms which we knew about through the reviews, though it would have been easier and quicker to have done them on the plane. At the airport there are loads of porters determined to take your luggage to the coaches just a very short walk away, they will accept English money and are a bit of a nuisance, I saw them greedily take £5 and £10 notes off people too embarrassed to say'no thanks'!
Once at the hotel we were shown to our room which we immediatly named The Ghetto' it was No 11 in block 'H', it was cold, dark and miserable, the balcony was almost blocked in with a dark wooden trellis, the so called wardrobe was in the bathroom which was in need of a damn good clean, there was a small louvred piece of wood which was supposed to be the bathroom door which gave almost NO privacy at all,I decided there and then I wasn't prepared to stay and wanted to go home.
We both needed a shower then found we had no hot water! we told reception, who told us to leave it running for a while(do they think we didnt try that?)
Next morning we tried the shower again, still cold so we left it running for over 20 minutes and finally warm water, not very warm but just adequate for a quick shower each.
I still wanted to go home but at the welcome meeting we met another couple(Margaret and Derek)who showed us their room in the Caribbean Village on the same complex and we demanded to be moved, we knew it would cost us more but so would a flight home.
We had to endure 2 nights in The Ghetto but by now our holiday was ruined.
I heard someone say that The Oasis Restaurant reminded them of a school canteen
(my memories of school canteens in the 60s/70s are more pleasant)! The food was cold and unedible, I ate mostly salad but became sick of it, we only had one excellent meal and that was the Moroccon meal in the themed restaurant.
We went to the beach once but stayed out of the private area so we were pestered. It was cold and windy so we didnt stay long and the sea was uninviting.
There was a lot of building work close to the hotel and the vibrations from the diggers etc caused the hotel to shake, I thought we were having an earthquake the first time I felt it!! NOT FUNNY.
There were awful smells of sewerage around the complex.
At night it was very cold but I hadnt taken any warm clothes as this time last year we went to Tenerife and it was pleasant at night which I expected Agadir to be.
We felt it was a very long week and our worst holiday.
