the hotel was a very clean hotel but clearly stuck in the 80s!!! the music, furniture and decor were very dated.
if you go all inclusive the buffet is nice to start but get massivily repetitive, and the breakfast is non existant. ABC as they call it over there, manages to cook a hard boiled egg every time hard in the middle and runny on the outside a feat that i have never seen!
the waiter service was discreaseful! as an english couple i never been treated like a second class citizen, i was at this hotel. the french, germans, russians and polish get waited on hand a foot! where we have to wait for everything. dont get me wrong there were a few acceptions to this rule, the a la cart resturants the moroccan in perticular were excellent. but the majority of them were very rude! we even complained about it and nothing was done not even an apology! the only way you can get a waiter to even look at you is by tipping them, which they expect every time you see them!
the entertainment in the main bar is a joke at best! the same songs every night from the house band and the same cd every night when the band was not on. again the entertainment in the moroccan ala carte was brilliant but u can only visit this 3 times a week.
all in all, the staff ruined our only holiday for the year, i would not recommend this hotel or agadir! GO TO MARACECH!

Last minute choice, but pleased we took it, hotel was very clean, comfortable and plush. The food was very good quality/choice, the staff were very friendly especially the animation team and waiters.
Evening entertainment always had two girls singing and a guy playing the keyboard, they very good, other evening entertainment included, Parrot show, Magician, Egyption dancer and a quiz night all proved good entertainment.
A clean swimming pool with a safe area for children was the centerpiece with plenty of sunbeds.
Weather was very good for December, strange to walk around in T shirt and shorts whilst the locals donned coats hats etc, beach just at the front of the hotel, clean sand and well patrolled by the Police not that we felt uneasy whilst out and about in Agidir, there is a good sized market and loads of shops where you can practice your bartering skills or visit the fixed price shops which were very reasonable
All in all, very satisfied and most certainly recommend to anyone who has not visited Morocco

Set right on the beach with it's own private section of sand, this should have been idyllic except that the hotel had no cleaning in place for the beachfront. Sun loungers had seen better days (plastic chairs were all broken and the cushions were black with dirt and grime), we felt like the princess in Hans Christian Andersen's tale with 3 each!
Although there are 6+ restaurants within the Agadir Beach Club, what they don't tell you in the brochures is that if you stay on a HB basis, there is only one restaurant you are able to eat in without paying a supplement. Worth bearing in mind as we stayed on a B&B basis and spent less eating out each night than the difference in price between B&B & HB and had diversity and fun exploring the town.
Also beware that if you are going to Morocco for culture, Agadir is not the place to stay. It was flattened in the 1960s by an earthquake and only the Souk survived. The whole town looks like a building site, not quaint or steeped in history at all.
Wouldn't recommend Agadir for female travellers unless accompanied by a man. We were mother and daughter and were unable to relax (even within the hotel) due to constant (and I mean constant) pestering from some of the male staff and locals. If you think I'm over exaggerating, we're both London born and bred, streetwise and not easily offended, but this annoyed us to the point of spoiling our holiday.
Other than the weather, which was affected by a tropical storm in the Canaries the week we were there, everything else was great. Agadir was great value for money, plenty of restaurants (the more traditional ones don't serve alcohol) and you can pick up almost anything nick-nacky you want.

Location: close to beach - good, far from beach bars, very little outside hotel close by.
Rooms: Good and clean though need to ask to see other rooms as if your room is not in the sun is very cold in the mornings and dark during the day.
Food: Difficult to understand what is covered by half board and where supplements arise. The main 'International' restaurant is more like a large railway buffet. Food quality and choice very poor. Other restaurants in hotel are good but more expensive.
Hotel Staff: Generally polite, friendly and attentive with the exception of the head waiter in the Roma restaurant who was clearly only interested in serving those who had previously tipped well (we were practically ignored by him on our first night).
Recommendation: Not really unless you are comfortable eating below par food, are prepared to walk a mile for lunch outside the hotel, will partake in group exercises at the pool with loud music. Oh and yes, guess who make up a large number of clientelle - towels placed on sunbeds around the pool the night before!!
