My girlfriend and I stayed at the Frosini Appartments this year, we have only just returned and to be honest we had a wonderful time staying there. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the owner who then checked us into room no.9 on the second floor. The appartment was spacious, clean and well equipped with a secluded balcony looking out onto the main road.
We were amazed when we saw the bathroom, superb shower which kept nice and hot. All plugs working, with a hair dryer. An all round clean bathroom.
Into the bedroom where there is two comfortable beds with fitted wardrobe with plenty of hangers. All very clean and well presented. Extra pillows and covers were also in there.
Back into the main sitting area you have a eating table with four chairs, which leads you to the kitchen which has a lovely new cooker and very clean 4ft fridge with freezer. Plenty of utensils in the drawers, cutlery, toaster and plenty of pots and pans.
Take two steps down into the main living area where you have two large sitting areas and a nice granite top table. To the left is a lamp and telephone. Facing you is the doors to the balcony that has a washing line and table and chairs area. All in all we had a fabulous time staying there and will be back.
It is in a very handy location if you wanted to get to the shops via a little alley opposite.

Upon arriving at Frosini Garden Apartments the front entrance appears small, and the foyer although dark is very cool. Once past the reception and through to the pool the grounds open out and the pool is very large compared to many other greek pools, it is also very deep at 2.6metres in the deepest end. The apartments are very roomy, they were cleaned daily and the sheets and towels changed two to three times per week. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only remark I can make is that I imagine that these apartments were one of the first built around Kassiopi before it became more popular and newer apartments built. Because of this they could now do with a bit of TLC, painting and decorating. The pool is cleaned daily very early in the morning which I watched from my apartment bedroom window, and is cleaned with care, but the surrounding wooden slats are now showing signs of wear and tear. Other than this, my family which includes two teenage daughters thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Frosini gardens, but, because of the amount of activity in the harbour area where most holidaymakers seem to congregate and enjoy a glass or two, the bar is not open very late. I read many reviews prior to our stay here and was worried about what we were going to get, but I need not have worried at all.

Having visited Kassiopi many times over recent years, we're well used to basic Greek accommodation. However, the Frosini Gardens is unfortunately not up there with the rest in this lovely resort.
Most frustrating was the large, cool & comfortable bar area, which was always empty because it was never open!! No pool bar either, and NO FOOD SERVED AT ALL. Upstairs (no lift - no fun if you're on the second floo), the apartments are large and airy. Also noisy if facing onto the main road. Beds comfortable, kitchen area OK. Two of the three apartments we booked required plumbing attention on three occasions over the fortnight. My son was shouted at when he reported problem with the shower door. Generally though Spiros the manager is helpful and polite. Maid service is too infrequent and not thorough enough. The fingernail under the dressing table was still there when we left. Sheets and towels are changed haphazardly. The pool area is rather run down - the outside toilets are filthy and were not cleaned at all during our two weeks. Sunbeds saggy and uncomfortable - though we were not charged for them. The lifebelts are ancient and the plastic covering was peeling off. However, Frosini Gdns just 2 mins from beautiful shingle beach and well situated for all the restaurants and bars.
We will return to Kassiopi but definitely not Frosini Gardens.

Me my husband and our 3 children 10 8 and 2 stayed at this hotel.
this hotel is great if you want to relax.
we were places facing the road (our apartment) BUT 5 A.M the bin lorry's and school boys racing in their cars. so after a week we were moved facing the pool
we found this apartment alot more enjoyable
the beach is quite a trek away as you have to go on a boat to get their but it was worth it
lovely beaches
if you have kids take a snorkell mask to see the fish and maybe even a turtle swim passed
mr spiros the owner was a bit grumpy at times
and the cats near by were a pain as the wee'd on everything
the pool was a decent size but about 15 ft in the deep end
during our time at the apartment it was very quite
there is sky sports and sometimes the kids are aloud the sky remote to watch there own programs
there is also a pool table which is worth a couple of games
there is also a park on site but i think its passed its day
when we were there you didnt have to reserve your sun beds as there was little people
overall a lovely holiday

These appts. are ideally located for the nearest shingle beach, 2 mins. walk away, passing the LEKA FAMILY restaurant/bar on the way. Also 2mins. walk to the JANIS restaurant, where the food and service are excellent (this was our most expensive meal, but we did not feel cheated). Further along this road was CASTELLO which we went to on 4 occasions due to the standard of food & the value for money
On entering the Frosini gardens, one got the impression of entering a church. It was very dark in the reception area, even with the lights on & shutters open. The bar was located here,albeit it was very rarely open and there was no notice of opening times.
The pool looked very inviting, however the crazy paving and general area could have done with a facelift. Appmt. was very spacious with modern kitchen area, large clean fridge freezer and full size cooker that looked brand new. Appmt. was clean on arrival, however the frequency of cleaning was not what was expected, i.e. floors should have been swept /mopped more often, particularly the bathroom area,where the shower pressure, though excellent leaked out of the cubicle onto the tiled floor,where a further drain existed. Plenty hot water at all times. We would not recommend these appmts. unless substantial improvements were made in several areas including the management of them. These could be superb in the right circumstances.
