Malia Dedalos Apartments

Malia dedalos!! the lads first holiday away together and what an experience it was! 1'st of all the hotel is a great environment its perfect for the younger but it does also suit older generation. the staff at the hotel are second to none absolutely perfect.. illios the security guard is great the guy will make sure your sound and well after a crazy night out, geroge great bar man really cool sorts you free drinks, and coola hoola the bar woman me and her got on well shes funny and sorts you out love her!! as for the rest of the hotel its spot on the food is nice, pool is so refreshing for when youve got a dusty hangover and the sun loungers get sun all day !! the room itself inst the best but it has enough space for you and your rommie its pretty cozy. as for everyone complaining about the pricelist for breakages and stuff its the same in every hotel all over malia as its just full of party animals so its there to prevent you from breaking and loosing stuff which you hardly do coz you barley use the room if your a young party animal. only problem we had was that we wrecked one of the bedsheets and we had to pay 40 euro for but it was covered in sick so fair enough! Malia is a great place to take a vaciation if you wanna let loose clubs bars and the stip are amazing luckilly we got to see giggs over there in club candy and every night i enjoyed myself. i advise to anyone acomidationg with dedalos your the younger generation because its full of girls and lads trana do their thing ;) this hotel i wouldnt recomend to famalies as it is for the younger groupies to party and crash its perfectly 2 seconds away from the start of the stip and i recomend when you come out of dedalos for the start of your night you start at the brithish leigion and work your way down have the best time !!! Loved Malia, hotel was clean and next to the strip so easy access to nightlife, nice pool but the people that work there are a joke, made me pay 40 euros for losing the safe key, the woman SAID if I found the key she would refund my money, 10 minutes later found the key and she didn't pay me back. Breakfast was disgusting the first day and it was put on too early so we missed it everyday. They just look for any reasons to charge you extra money.

It was an amazing hotel, me and a few friends stopped in the studios (Self catering) and it was great. There is music playing from the morning till late at night, so its not for older people, surprising how its not an 18-30s but it is FULL of young people. Staff were friendly and kept giving us free drinks! Everywhere is clean, although it was annoying that the cleaners came in at like 9am, and i had only just got in from the night before! AND they didnt change the sheets which was also annoying... overall a great hotel, and will be back next year!!

My husband and I have stayed here many times over a period of 18 years. We have tried other hotels and studios in the area but keep returning to the Dedalos. We are a young at heart retired couple now, but have come here with out daughter and her husband in the past and done the beach road a few times. Now we prefer the old town, but the Dedalos is the perfect location for all bars restaraunts and activities. The staff are warm and friendly, and are always willing to oblige. Koula is a gem, as is George and Christos the owners. This is a family run hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the shower is typically Greek (water everywhere) but soon drains away and is very refreshing. Sunbeds, food, bar, pool all great. You should give this a try.

Do not go bed and breakfast here as you will not get a fridge. The only thing on offer in the breakfast is bread, cheese and ham. If you want a fridge they charge 48 euros a week. The fridge is essential as they charge 2.50 euros for a can of juice when they are only 50 cent in the shop down the street. They also charge 4.50 euros just for one bottle of beer or WKD. For air conditioning, they charge 42 euros a week and 13 euros a week for a safe. The security guard is also abusive and arrogant and won't allow you on your balcony when his shift starts, even if you aren't drinking and making noise. The only good thing about this place is that your rooms are cleaned 6 times a week.

My friend and I stayed here for a week at the beginning of Oct and though I wasn't keen on Malia itself I did enjoy the hotel. The rooms were very clean though the shower was a nightmare with water going everywhere and a tap kept falling off.... The owners were very friendly especially Kula who was lovely .I'd love to go back to this hotel but only if it could be transported to another resort as I definately won't go back to Malia .

me and three of my friends stay here for 2 weeks and it was lovely. we had a great time and every one is dead friendly we enjoyed it so much a week after we got back we booked up to go again same place just this time we are going in july when its a bit hotter. not really a place for children as it right near the clubs and not much for children to do. The nigh life is great here and the food is to die for i would say while you are there to visit the old town. Just watch out for the PR they will say anythink to get you in the pubs and clubs but just a no sometimes just make them leave u alone. the beach is a lovely place very clean some time they will bring you cold drinks around u have to pay for them but you dont have to move it is also 2 euros for a sunbed that should be for all day. Dont get bed and breakfast there not much there its just bread and ham. Really good hoilday overall

I stayed here and had a fantastic time...both Kula and Marios were extremely helpful and always so cheerful...room was clean and quiet and the atmosphere at the pool and the bar was great...really lovely place, will definately go back, maybe not the best place for young kids as not much facilities for them in the evening, but for couples, older families or just a crowd of mates would highly recommend.

We went in sept 07. Had an amazing holiday, close to the beach. people everywhere very friendly. lots of places to eat out and great nightlife. The hotel was simple, but great for the money we paid. Always clean, great service. We had an amazing, amazing holiday. Surprised some people rated it 1/10. Would definitely go back again!

Anybody being put off by bad reviews on this hotel dont be!! We arrived late Tuesday night not really knowing what to expect because of the reviews, we were greeted by a security Guard who was pleasant. Me and my boyfriend were then taken up to our room which was large and very clean! Decent shower and Nice Balcony. Breakfast was abit strange but im not really into eating cheese and ham for Breakfast but we went out every morning as The House do a great breakfast as well as Mikes Beach Bar! Sticky Fingers is really nice food aswell and the Greek Restaraunt opposite Candy! (Cant remember what its called) they do really nice Pizzas! Getting back to the Hotel, the bar man Malios is great, gives you loads of free shots and drinks and really makes the night!! The Lady not sure how you spell her name Koula is great aswell always wants to do more for you, all in all i would defo recommend this hotel to anybody of any age, just avoid in high season. Don't listen to any of the Reviews!!!! The Staff, hotel and Malia are brilliant!!
