Prince Apartments
Well liked for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere and excellent location, the Prince Apartments are a superb choice for a holiday in Icmeler. The focus of daytime activity is the spacious pool, where you can relax and soak up the sun in pleasant surrounds. Or if you feel like exploring, the resort's main attractions are quite literally on your doorstep. Here you will find a fantastic beach, amazing bargains in the many shops and not forgetting numerous bars for a spot of the local tipple, raki! Shops, bars and restaurants are 50m from the apartments, with the resort centre a little further away (200m). The beach is 100m away.

This was my first time in Turkey, I enjoyed every minute it was so much better than I thought. The appartments were spacious very clean and well equipt. The resort itself was very pretty everything you needed on your doorstep. Food was cheap alcohol was more exspensive than I thought some charging 5lira for a large beer some charging 3lira so look round. I am going back soon.

Our second time at the Prince Apartments and can only confirm all the consistently good things people tell you about the place. Location, pool and staff are superb. This year facilities have been upgraded. Our apartment (only a studio this time but very spacious) had newly fitted bathroom and there were dispensers for shower gel and washing up liquid. Very well equipped kitchen, including coffee maker. Just needed to take tea towel and washing up sponge. Two computers in reception so you can check your email for 3 lira. The restaurant is pretty good and the menu very varied. Staff are terrific. Entertainment is OK, including visiting folk dancers etc. though what little music remains is very repetitive and aimed at the younger visitors. Karaoke rules after 10.30 whether you like it or not. Lots of Scandinavian guests, some of whom were quite puzzled about the "reserved" Brits willingness to have a go, whatever the standard of singing. Very popular and a definite increase in the number of guests at karaoke time. Exchange rate at reception competitive, (I made the mistake of changing some money into lira with the Post Office),but they don't change travellers' cheques. Lots of people got up early to claim sunbeds, but it certainly seemed that one morning staff had gone round and taken their towels off. The cheap and cheerful Turkish village breakfast has been abandoned in favour of a more expensive (7 lira) and extensive buffet that's included in some of the Scandinavian half board deals. More Scandinavian guests than British, so maybe that's what inflates the price you pay to stay at the apartments. Hope to go back again and enjoy the place and the people.

Thought about adding my own comment on this holiday, mainly to support others who are trying to make a decision as to their holiday destination.
The staff are always polite and friendly. You'll never have any problems with them as they're fantastic. The room was superb. Air conditioning came as part of the package and it was great as they were in the middle of a heat wave when we went. The rooms had everything that you could possibly need and everything worked as it should.
There was a little competition for the pool area, but there are plenty of facilities around about, so it wasn't really a problem. The same could be said for the sun beds. The staff were really alert as to the people around there and many would come over to check that we hadn't fallen asleep! I was really appreciative of this.
Whilst we were self catering, we did eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel. The food is superb there-it would definately be worth being half board with them.
I would definately go back again.

the staff are so friendly unlike some of the other places in turkey we had stayed. they all took an intrest and came to speek to you at the pool side.
the rooms were lovely and spaciess. the food in the prince restraunt was amasing and we went to the bufys and events they held on wednesdays.
it was the best hotel for us and we are going back again this year.

Had a great holiday staying in the Prince apartments. That was our second time in Icmeler but our first time in the Prince apartments.
The staff helped to make it a great holiday; you get good bit banter with the waiters.
The location of the Prince apartments is great.
The food in Icmeler is the best I've had in all the years I have been going abroad, we're back at the Prince apartments for our summer holidays in July 07.

The best holiday I've ever had, I was 13 when I went and I loved it, the pool was great, everything was brilliant, I made so many friends such as the barmen and the waiters, like Ali, Reber and Koray, they even let me work behind the bar and even be a waiter, I loved the nightlife at the bar, I could dance on the bar, serve drinks, everything I loved it, table tennis and pool was amazing I loved it, I would play with my brothers and even the staff.
Amazing a guarantee amazing holiday recommended to everyone. Thank you Prince for a memorable holiday.

First time in Turkey and was slightly apprehensive, didn’t need to be it was great, very impressed with the apartments, we were in one of the duplex apartments overlooking the pool and there was more than enough room for the 4 of us. Turkish Night in the Hotel was a good night.
The staff at the Prince were great very friendly and always chatting asking you if you are ok, you tell them your names once and they remember for the rest of the holiday, but the staff in the bars all around Icmeler are also like that.
The apartments are very near the beach we went several times and you can even eat on the beach and the waiters from the nearby restaurants bring you the food so you don’t need to move an inch, the sea is lovely and so clean and warm.
We ate at a different restaurant each night and they were all great, Majestic, Lion Bar, Love Boat, Welsh Bar to name just a few, haggle though we had free desserts for the kids or free drinks most nights and it was cheep to start with.
My son loved the fake designer shopping, we know its fake, they no its fake but at £2 a T shirt who was going to complain.
The trips are great value, we did the mud baths, jeep safari, lazy boat trip, and Turkish bath all of which were great if you have teenagers the Quad Biking's a must.
The only downside was most of the guests at the Prince were Scandinavian and at times they did take over, l would say 75% of the guests were not English, my kids did feel a bit left out, but we were out and about so much it didn’t matter and the staff more than make up for that.
The dolmus (bus) runs to Marmaris every 15mins and the shopping there is good because it is a much larger resort, glad we were not there all the time though as it was very busy Icmeler is a much nicer resort.
Tip: don’t worry if you need a haircut, eyebrow wax, manicure, shave the hairdresser's next door to the Prince do everything and the prices are so cheep you will be glad you waited till you come away and the quality is amazing I felt like l had been to a top class beautician and what great guys.
If you haven’t been to Turkey before do it you won’t regret it. I'm hooked looking to how l can get there again next year, now roll on next visit.

Best holiday ever! I was in tears when we left! The staff don’t only work they entertain! They became my best friends and I’m devastated to have had to come home.
I loved the staff so much, a lot of them said I am their brother or best friend! I helped Husain clean behind the bar and he was very grateful and Tolga gave me his T-shirt because they had none left in the colour I wanted in the shop!
I felt so bad about taking it so I gave him my gold bracelet with diamonds in it, it was a very expensive bracelet but I know I couldn’t have given it to a nicer person. The night I left icmeler was so depressing.
I was getting my prince T-shirt signed by all the staff and they put all nice comments on it. Then the rest of the night, we all gathered on a table and talked all night. When it was time to go I gave all the staff so many hugs it was unbelievable.
I just didn’t want to leave. Most of all I think I will miss Tolgs, Umit, Ali, and Hussein, they are my brothers. I love all of the staff but these 4 were extra specially close with me! Definitely going to return without a shadow of a doubt!

Well I have recently come back from the Prince and I've got to say, its amazing! If you go you will have the best time ever! The beach was literally next door & there were great water sports on offer, I recommend the ringos! My brother & I went on them, they were great!
I love all the bar staff at the Prince, they made the holiday. Ali and Huisane are best and Tolga and Nemo and DJ and Biran and Omer and the rest, they're all amazing! The apartments are nice as well get good, air conditioning for free, getting a sun bed is good as well, saying that though, I was up every morning at 8 getting 7 of them for the family! If you want sun beds were the sun hits, I suggest you get up about 9, unless you want to sit on the floor! They are that popular!
The food in the prince was really nice, they give you no hassle, all the other restaurants do, but it’s funny! Trust me when you’re home, you'll miss the hassle, especially from the hairdressers next door! They made me laugh everyday - 'you want a hair cut?'! The shops are great as well.
The Prince was the best there, you won't want to leave, I was crying! I want to go back next year but unfortunately it isn’t up to me! I love the Prince, it was the best place ever! I want to live in Turkey just to go to that apartment and to see all the great waiters! I love you all so much! You should definitely go, its well worth it!
Also, go to the Turkish night every Thursday, the food and entertainment are both really, really nice and good! There is a very pretty belly dancer lads! Great though, see you! Lucky people, if you are going there, take me with you!

This was our sixth visit to the Prince Apartments. I never would have thought that I would return to the same place twice a year for three years running and so this is a testament to the Prince Apartments in itself.
The place is lovely, located right by the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. The accommodation is basic but clean with maid service daily. The pool is a great size with shallow end and baby pool to cater for all. I cannot say enough about the staff both in the apartments and the adjoining bar/restaurant.
Day and night they are on hand to be not just waiters/barmen but entertainers and friends. I fail to see how anyone, either couple or family could not have a happy, memorable holiday at the Prince. Roll on next year!

Apartment was basic but clean, with maid service daily. Food in the restaurant wasn't up to much compared to other restaurants in Icmeler.
All staff were fantastic except for daytime receptionist who was quite ignorant and arrogant and was more interested in talking on her mobile phone.
Found it hard to get a sun bed after 9.30am has most guests did reserve them with their towels even though there are signs asking not to do this.
Pool was good size and checked on a daily basis for chlorine and ph levels etc. We found it to contain a lot of chlorine and cleaning fluids which did sting your eyes.

IBooked the Prince Apartments after reading good reviews on this and other sites and I was not disappointed. The rooms are clean, well equipped and above all cool (thanks the air con). The location is superb being very close to the beach and all amenities.
The pool is great and we did not have a problem getting a sun bed. This is because the apartments have a good policy of not letting people reserve sun beds by laying out their towels!
You must go to the weekly Turkish night which is a hoot and only 25 lira each (less than a tenner). We will be back.

Never thought of going to Turkey before, what a pleasant surprise. Icmeler is a great little place to stay in Turkey, lots to do but quiet as well. Prince Apartments are in the ideal position, 1 minutes walk to the beach and central to the resort.
The restaurant and bar is fantastic with entertainment every night (don't miss the Turkish night on Thurs) and the staff are very friendly as well as being funny. Rooms are adequate for holidays and are well looked after by the cleaning staff.
The pool is big enough for swimming in and relaxing around although it did get a bit busy towards the last few days of our holidays due to the fact a lot of Scandinavians use the apartments and the start of their school holidays. Will definitely return. Steve & Tracy.
