I've been to these apartments on 3 occasions and like most of Lindos, they are pretty basic. So long as you don't get rooms 5 or 7, however, you'll be okay.
The largest room is No 6, while No 9 has a Lindian bed and own veranda but you are very close to the home of a local family. They communicate by yelling and the children can be a bit rude sometimes.
Would I go back again to them? Yes, as they're very central and great for all amenities...but not to rooms 5 or 7. Make sure you request any other room bar these.
Lindos has had stacks written about it so there's no need to repeat a description of the village or the friendly locals. Suffice to say I've been there 14 times and counting.
My favourite restaurants are Dionysis. Kalypso and Acropolis.
My favourite bars are Colossus, 60s Bar and Socrates.... the Lindos Triangle for old hippies!

We got back today (30/06/05) from Rhodes, where we stayed in a village called Pastida. The weather was 35 degrees centigrade all week and the island near to Turkey was absolutely beautiful. It was my best friend’s wedding and she got married in Lindos, which is an absolutely beautiful town on Rhodes, where it is 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the island. The bays and coves are begging you to swim in them, and the medieval town whispers to encourage you to visit its narrow streets with true lindians lining them.
Rhodes Town itself has tonnes of little streets where market sellers are friendly and helpful. The castle there is beautiful and very historic, with lots of stories about it’s past described to the fullest. The beaches at Rhodes are shingle, however, line a clear bluey green sea.
Faliraki on the island is the clubbers paradise, although in recent years it has become less busy and is now, I think, excellent place to have either a relaxed drink in the day, or an exciting however, not too busy night out.
There are numerous trips to take, for example, boat trips to neighbouring islands, or even Marmaris in Turkey, car hire is cheap and all the Grecians we met are really friendly.
We took a trip to a butterfly park, which was in a beautiful valley.
Altogether there is too much that I can say about Rhodes, and as I have the holiday washing to do, I won’t go on for too long, but just wish to say how I will definitely be going back over many years, as the Island suits couples, families with young to teenage children, or groups of 18 - 30's there are always places on the island to cater for absolutely everyone.
One negative thing to say is beware of the British people selling timeshare.
I hope that if you go you have as good a time as I did with my family and friends.

After hearing all the excellent feedback about this hotel I’m afraid to say we were very disappointed with our stay here.
I love the island of Rhodes & I have been returning for the past 4 years but will definitely not be returning to the Marietta hotel.
Our room was basic and although we had a cooker there were no kitchen utensils to cook with!
The cleaner came in twice out of 7 days, we only had our bins emptied once and only one change of towels for the whole 7 days!!!!
Our day usually began with building work noise which is not the most relaxing start to your day, the pool area is nowhere near as big as it shows you in their brochure, the sun loungers are side by side with no room for any personal space but lucky for us the hotel was not full at this stage. I dread to think what it must be like when the pool side is full, I imagine it will be very noisy with no personal space.
Marietta & her brother Michael manage the hotel, my family found Michael really polite and genuine and don't have a bad word to say about him however we did not feel the same about his sister.
Marietta seemed a different person in the evenings, she went from being friendly and approachable during the day to rude and very ungenuine at night.
We ate out in the local village in the evenings were the locals are really welcoming and offer some atmosphere to your holiday.
On returning to the hotel for a few more drinks before going to bed we were always made to feel like a bother to them (except karaoke night when it suited them to stay up late) her husband even turned the lights on & off whilst we had just sat down with our first drink- very rude!!
Also Marietta thought nothing of sitting at the bar slagging us off with one of her regular visitors (Mr g- string man) anyone who has been to this hotel will know who I mean!!!
It was so obvious they were talking about us that myself and auntie felt so unwelcome & uncomfortable we left our drinks & went back to the village (local sports bar, Staff very friendly & well worth a visit)
On a positive note the hotel food was lovely and really good
Value and we met some lovely people.
I will certainly be returning to Rhodes as it is one of my favourite holiday destinations, however I will not return to the hotel Marietta
