The resort was quite but nice. beach had water sports snorkelling quite good. between 12.00-2.30 boat trips would come and the beach would be full. Plenty of places to eat and drink. The down side was the accommodation Constantinos this was terrible it was only cleaned once in two weeks by the barman in between serving toasties to guests, there was no maid (she must have been on holiday) Ended up cleaning it myself with the help of two ginormous cockroaches. There were not enough crockery, utensils & cupboard space for 4 of us. We had patio furniture one day and it was gone the next somebody else had it.
I have travelled with a party of 9-10 for the last 9years with Kosmar and has always been very satisfied with all the accommodations they have provided all basic but clean but this one has let the company down they must review it.

Jul 2005, Mr J.R Gibson

The resort itself was very quiet and didn’t have much to offer via bars and nightlife. For a new, modern property, Constantinos apartments lacked cutlery and cupboards. There was a ghastly smell coming from the drain in the toilet throughout our stay, and the room was poorly cleaned only once in two weeks. We rented the air conditioning for 9 euros a day, which leaked twice and we had to sort out ourselves and sewage from pipes leaked into the pool for 2 days. With a pool bar that opened near midday and was closed by 10-10:30pm, and no reception in sight, this has by far been the worst apartments I have ever been in. And to top it all off, we had to vacatate our room by midday with our flights not until the early hours of the next day, I was forced to locate another accommodation that I had to pay extra for!

Our apartment was very basic.
No rubbish bins, only the one for the used toilet paper.
Apartment cleaned & linen changed twice a week - towels
were small & had seen better days!
No toilet paper in apartments on arrival, so bring your own! - A supermarket is close by.
Air conditioning is a must in the summer and paid locally - best to budget extra, as can be expensive.
The owner 'Sam' was helpful, although there was very little to keep you at the pool or bar.
The apartments are in a great location - a quick walk across the road and your on the beach.
Next to the apartments is a large Taverna, which only seems to be open between the hours of midday & 2:30pm, when it caters for the day-trippers that arrive by boat every day. The number of people to disembark daily can be anything from 50 to 300 - so beware the beach can get busy.
The resort is very quiet & relaxing, with a good selection of restaurants. The Mercedes Bar, is the only bar at the resort and seemed to be the focal point, with everyone being made to feel welcome.
Advisable to get a car for a few days, just to see what else Rhodes has to offer.

Stegna is a great place for the very young or older visitor, there is not much for the youngsters round 12-16, and not a place for nightclubs or bars. There is only one bar at the moment, owned by Chris, his sister and mother also work there and after one visit you are a friend, he has karaoke nights, live music nights. There are about 18 Tavernas, so you need not use the same one twice, though we favoured Aroma and Knights Table as they were at the end on the village and we liked the walk. There is only one way in and out of Stegna and one bus twice a day, going out round 9.15 and coming back round 4ish. There is no pharmacy or doctor or taxi rank, you will find them at Archangel up the windy road, not suitable for walking, but I’m told if you attempt it passing cars will stop and give you a lift either way.
Contantinos apartments have the only swimming pool in the village and 'Sam' the owner takes great pride in it. The accommodation varies apt to apt, some have bedside tables some not, most do not have bedside lights, there are some that have drawer space, some have cupboards to store dry food others only the fridge. Take your own toilet paper and a torch.
