Sandy Beach Hotel Reviews
" The majority of guests in October... "
Submitted By: Mr I Bishop
The majority of guests in October appeared to be of a mature age, so no riotous behaviour. Most staff pretty friendly. Good swimming pool facilities to suit everyone.
Beds very hard in our opinion but may suit others. Bus stops outside hotel for short trip into Larnaca CY 0.70 one way, every half hour and on the hour at weekend. Reasonable choice of restaurants and bars short walking distance. Recommend Diana opposite Lordos hotel.
Breakfast in hotel adequate to set you up for the day. This is not what most people would classify as a 4 star hotel but we enjoyed our week there.

Problems.
Food - same every night, no children’s menu (I had to complain to have chips put out, otherwise children had to eat adult food) Vegetarian menu 1 pasta meal per night, sometimes this had ham in it so you had to resort to salad only. Breakfast fine, fair selection.
Bar waitress service in evening varied from OK to very poor, one night we had 15 glasses on our table with no service all night
Children’s club, lady to busy on her mobile to deal with them, and one day they went in at 11am and came out at 11:05 as she had decided no club, good job we had not left hotel!!
When they had a wedding on, all residents were forced to the breakfast room for evening meal, and when you returned to the lounge bar for drinks it was swamped for wedding guests, no room or area for residents - despite complaining the following week, the same happened
The best part was the room service, the room maids knew how to keep a room clean tidy and nothing was a problem for them
All aspects were this was not a four star level service.
