Maxwell Holiday Club Hotel
The Maxwell Holiday Club is tastefully decorated and great for guests looking for a relaxing holiday. For sun worshippers the pool is a pleasant place to catch some rays and there is a separate pool for the little ones. Catch up on the news back home in the internet café, before enjoying an evening meal at the Maxwell's buffet restaurant. In an excellent location, 460m to the centre of Marmaris. A wider choice of bars and restaurants are available 1km away. The beach is 630m away.

Went 2 maxwell twice last year! First time was June an i had a brilliant time there. The staff an bar staff were very friendly an were there 2 help u when ever u needed it. Room was really big not complainin had a balcony an that! I also met a lovely genuine turkish lad there an we have now been together for 14 months an love each other very much an we now have a beautiful baby son. Second time i went there was in September an it was not that good cos all the staff from there had moveed 2 work somewhere else cos of trouble with the big boss who is a horrible selfish person an which my boyfriend had told me bout this. I still keep in touch with the staff from maxwell we email an that they are lovely people! These people include my little mate Yusif he as always up 2 somethin(kept throwin me in the pool an threw bucket of ice over me on the sun lounger) ha Steve was the 1 who was the 1 with the funny laugh an always had time 2 chat. Danny was the shy an quiet 1. Messy was completely mad but so funny an the DJ was with a different girl everyday. ha Agit is the lad i met there who is now my boyfriend an is now the father of my son. Wouldn't recomment maxwell anymore as it aint good now . Sev iyorum Turkey

haveing just got back from the badest hotel i have ever stayd in would never go back again 10 of us went and we was all put in one room, it felt like i have stayd in the homeless for a week. they was not helpfull they only wanted your money the pools are not for small kids to go in as they are over 6ft and no small end to walk into, the food was not nice and the hotel needs rebulding and new staff. i would not let my girls out in this hotel bar was the bar staff are all over them it is not nice for kids to spend there holidays at.

Just returned on the 9th september 2008 the appartments was very poor they could do with a make over, the day of leaving we checked the appartments that we had'nt left any thing, moved the bedside table to find a pair of boxers, that was soiled and they did'nt belong to us, the appartments was'nt cleaned properly when the last poeple had lef, before we arrived.
The food in the restraurant down stairs was very good and the staff where great, (the
staff made our holiday, they where happy and friendly.)
There was 4 in our party 3 adults and 1 child 3 years.

having just come back from holiday at the maxwell,my advice, dont touch it with a barge pole.this hotel is probably the worst i have stayed in,i have been going to turkey for eight years.the hotel staff were mostly ok except the old man in reception who was very rude and had a very couldnt care less attitude.the pool was the worst i have ever encountered badly maintained and frankly dangerous plus very dirty not cleaned properly.the resort has been advertised with a slide but it was only on for a few minutes at time.the rooms were a good size but again not cleaned properly plus some parts needed maintaining the shower screen was broken and not very much hot water.the pool area was very dangerous, very slippery and bits of drains missing, loads of kids fell over or got their feet caught.drinks were expensive as was the food and service was very slow, some waiters were freindly others were even freindlier only if you were young and female though.good location though only five minutes walk from beach but that was it.overall a bad holiday mainly because the hotel wasnt up to scratch very very disapointed dont go there if you value your sanity...

we arrived at maxwell holiday club18th august 2008.the weather is amazing, the flight had been good, transfers had taken 2 hours but was very pleasant, so i thought the apartments must be awful...... but i was pleasantly suprised. our room 304,was very nice, not much wardrobe space but apart from that we had no complaints about the room, we had a good view of the pool, and could even see the sea from our room. we never ate in the maxwell club only because we like to venture out , but we did stumble on a little restraunnt 5 minits walk away called.... smileys.. you must go here for the best english breakfast ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! the guys that work there are the friendliest ever they made our holiday . but for dinner at night time you must visit natalies steak house on the beach......delicious....... anyway maxwell club... we had great air con free to direct holiday customers but i beleive everyone else had to pay,but you need it. The manager of the maxell was a bit grumpy, he wudnt stand any nonsense form anyone. there was one particular person complaining about somehting and he told her if she didnt like it then she should leave. we had no probs tho. hope you enjoy it as much as we did

just arrived back fromt he maxwell on the 26th aug. feeling very dissapointed. we stayed in this hotel in 07 and loved it that much that we booked again and brought along some friends. what a mistake.
when we arrived a lot of people were complaining that they did not have the right size apartments that they had paid for. regarding our frends they were welcomed by a drunk night manager who tried to send them to another hotel saying they had not booked this hotel, which was a joke as we had all booked together and we had a room. whilst trying to sort the problem out the manager then left and went to the bar, on returning he was swaying and swearing, off cause he was later sacked.
watch out for the staff behind the bar, they say you can have a open tab and settle up at the end of the day but you wil notice extra drinks or lmeals have been added, especiallly look out for victor he became very rude when i challenged him about the price of the bill. lucas and ozzie are the best. very down to earth. watch out for carlos, lock up your daughters, mine was 13 and he was caught shouting her down from her bedroom.
if you fancy a nice meal go to mascots which is around the corner. you also get bogof on drinks then you get another drink when you are leaving.
and finally be sure not to leave anything behind. i left my ghd straightners there and when some people we met who were still there went to get them they were told the cleaners would have through them away. (as if)
the only thing that made my holiday was the brilliant friends we met there. but i would not recommend this hotel and i wont be going back there again next year.

The Holiday From Hell. In ten years of holidaying in Turkey this was the worst place I have ever stayed. Overall the staff was unhelpful.Noise during the night involving guests snd staff being overfriendly to each other.Overcharging you for drinks . Guests putting towels down before 8a.m at poolside then staff removing them.Guests angry about towels being angry about towels and staff denying all knowledge .Would never stay here again

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel from the 23rd to the 30th of june 2008.
On arrival the man at reception wvery friendly and were quick in getting everything sorted for us. On first impressions, the room we wer given was very small but once we were unpacked and settled in, it was fine really. The rooms are very clean, but a little dated, could do with redecorating!! The bathrooms are nice though.
The maid was brilliant, she came in everyday of our stay to make our beds and change the bins etc and the bed linnen and towels were changed twice while we were there.
The staff were very friendly, i was particularly pleased with the lady on the front desk...she was very helpful when i was having trouble sorting out my transfer, she took all the information off me, rang around for phone numbers and then sorted out my transfer for me...i was very grateful.
The food wasn't great, we paid 30ytl each for the turkish nght which boasted a buffet and i was under the impression that the buffet would be there all night and so when people went up for food, i decided to just get a small plate as i wanted to eat later. However, once everyone had had one plate, they removed the buffet which meant that i had paid 30ytl for a piece of bread and a bit of watermelon. The food prices during the day evening are ok but you can get better quality food for much cheaper if you venture out a bit further.
The only possible downside to this hotel is the pool area. Considering the size of the hotel, the pool is way too small (and is dominated by children a lot of the time). Sunbeds were also a problem...not enough for the number of guests. **BEWARE**... people put their towels down on sunbeds and leave them there all day without even using them which is obviously unfair for guests (like myself) who want to use them. So if you wanted a decent spot you would have to get up at like 7 o clock...
Bare in mind that the beach is laden with sunbeds which are free to use providing you buy a drink or something to eat from the many bars along the beach front (beach boys come round andtake your order and bring your food/drink out to you).
When we enquired about the air conditioning, we were told we had to pay £25 for it (although we were under the impression that it was free). However, do not pay this as if you fiddle around with it you will get it working without paying!!! and trust me you will need it coz its sweltering !!
All in all our stay was great at maxwell and i would definately go again and would recommend to friends!!

me,my partner and my daughter who is 4 really enjoyed our stay at the maxwell holiday club. This is the 3rd time ive been to turkey and i havnt complained about nothing yet.The hotel itself is very nice, friendley staff and lovely food. The hotel rooms are small and basic, but we were only in there to shower and sleep. I would definatly go back there again. It is also central to everything:town, bars, shops, beach.all in a 5-10 minute walk. Zoe : )

firstly i would like to add that we are not "complainers" :)
we were staying at the Maxwell holiday club from the 23rd June until the 3rd July 2008.
when we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't too far out of town and from the outside it looked very nice. when we checked in we were horrified to find that where the kitchen light should have been there was now a constant stream of water which my fiancee slipped on and very nearly landed on a cupboard door which was broken off and on the floor!!!!! then when i went to the reception to ask if someone could pop up and fix it we had to wait for an hour even though every time i went to ask how long it would be, i was told it would be "fixed within five minutes", after an hour we couldn't wait any longer so i demanded we were moved to another room, we were told by the grumpy old man that there was no rooms available until the next day which was a lie because on the way to the room to tell my fiancee the news i spoke to the assistant manager who was in his office and he said it wouldn't be a problem to move our rooms! so we went back to reception got new keys only to find that the room had no sheets, towels, toilet rolls and hadn't been cleaned, it also really upset us as when we were moving rooms the lad who helped me with my cases was laughing and said they try putting all the young people in the first room as it is in his words s**t. The new room was a much better size and the room was right at the top so we had a really good view of marmaris and the sea. the maid eventually came to the room and she did every day after. if you want air con they want paying in sterling and depending on which company you book with its a different price, we were with med life and it cost £75 for ten nights which i know is steep but it was really good and in june/july it is needed. I know i sound like I'm not happy with the hotel but if you have booked to stay at the Maxwell I'm sure you will have a nice stay as it is near everything but not too close for comfort and the staff are really helpful (except the weird old man and the rude English scrubber on the desk) we have only scored so low because of the first few days, the rest was a very good holiday :)

Had a wonderful week at Maxwell Apartments in mid May this year. The accommodation was excellent and all the staff were fabulous. A great addition is the beauty parlor. My friend and I hope to be back next year and although I know some of the staff have already left I am sure, reading the previous comments, that it will be just as good. May even take a day trip when I go to Rhodes later in the year.

ive been going to marmaris for 11years but my first time at maxwell and i must say i will be back again!!!!!!!!!
i stayed in a 2bedroom apartment with my turkish boyfriend and my friend and had know problem with him staying there, the apartment was very clean on arrival and cleaned every other day along with clean bed sheets and towels, ideal for a big family as u can sleep uo to 6 people. we were self catering and we had great cooking facilities!
staff at the pool bar were there 2 make your holiday fun, reece was crazy and he pinched my ice lolly 1 day haha and we had a great laugh with jerry he was mad!!! entertainment on at the bar everynight if u dont want to go far. the cleaners were really friendly and also all apartment staff as i could speak a little turkish 2 them!!!
The beach is only about a ten min walk from the apartments so not that far were u can do watersports and loads of bars and restaurants along the front to sit back relax and watch the world go bye!!! marmaris is the best place 2 be in the sun especially at the maxwell holiday club. im sure your holiday will be great fun!!!!!!!
