We stayed at Club Alka for 1 week, the hotel is well run and always clean, all the staff are so friendly and are always willing to help when ever needed.
The accommodation itself was very good and clean it had plenty of utensils, all cooking appliances were very clean, Everyday you always got clean bedding and your apartment cleaned.
The town is close but the beach is a little walk.
Eating out I always used Roxys, Smileys and Sami Beach they all have a variety of opinions for you to choose from and all the staff are wonderful.
SO really all I can say is I am going back next year to stay at Club Alka because they made me feel welcome and I really enjoyed myself.

We stayed at Club Alka for one week. The hotel is well run and always clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The views from the hotel are fantastic.
The bar uses beads for money system, which you then use to buy drinks and food etc. So don’t give in large notes or you end up with a necklace.
The town is close but there is a long walk to the beach, which is not that easy to get to the first time out.
Eating out we used the Roxy and China Town, we tried others but found these the best value for money.
The only bad part of our stay was a 3 hour delay at Bodrum Airport, which be warned is not the most pleasant of airports, the no smoking signs are ignored and the prices for drinks and food almost robbery. Expect to pay £2.50 for a small water and £4.50 for a can of coke. So take a supply for the return home just in case.
Apart from that I would return for another holiday.

Accommodation - This was quite good and clean, plenty of utensils, all cooking appliances were clean. Bedding was changed every day. The only criticism was that we had to pay for the air conditioning in English money, so make sure you take some if you want to stay cool.
Food at the hotel was reasonable and good, not too many choices but no one got a stomach upset.
Staff were always on hand to help and were very friendly.
Pool area was very clean and two small pools for kids, and an indoor play area which was good if you have had enough sun.
The hotel was a good base, all the amenities were a short walk away, but the hotel was up a hill so if you have walking difficulties it would be a problem.
Overall - I would return to Club Alka again as i had a really good time

This was the best 2 weeks holiday I have ever had! The Apartments were fab, and the maids came in everyday. It was very clean and the welcome we got at 3:00 in the morning was fantastic! Everyone was really friendly, and took the time to get to know you Yusaf and Nusret (no stress!) Metlin and Mutta were fantastic bar men! Any problems and they were all sorted really quickly.
Also our rep Rodger was fantastic and really helped us out! It is a beautiful place, people were nice round about, and I as a female went out a few times without my Husband and was not hassled once! But he was he he! Club Akla was a great place for the kids mine are 4 and not once did they get grumpy or tell them to keep quiet!
The staff were so nice to the kids, it made a nice change, to Britain where people can be a bit off with kids! Music was only loud till midnight, but the kids were still downstairs in the play area with us till then! Well its their holiday too! A lot of the kids stayed up and there was no problem with that! The hill is a bit steep but not to bad, there is always another way around other than the hill way!
buses stopped just outside the apartments going to Bodrum and took about 15 mins to get there to the bus station, also when you get there the market is just up some steps, and behind it is a supermarket which is cheaper than the small shops in Gumbet. Wonderful holiday recommended to all!
