Aug 2006, Miss S Farmery

This is our second time in hotel baba.14 of us go every year to Turkey, we liked hotel Baba and Gumbet so much we came to the same place 2 times in a row.
It is a brilliant hotel my only downfall is the size of the bedrooms but apart from that 10/10 for everything. The hotel food is nice. The staff are really friendly and make you welcome! The pool is very clean, and the Turkish nights are fantastic you have to book!
Gumbet is a great place, hoping to work there next summer! Definitely recommend it to everyone it offers something for everyone, from family holidays to hen nights/birthdays etc.
Gumbet see you soon.

Aug 2006, Ms H Dawson

We have just returned from a fortnight's holiday at Baba Hotel.
Location was excellent. The hotel is built on a hill. The reception area of the hotel opens onto the main shopping streets and as you go down the hill - rooms built on different levels - you come to the swimming pool, which is a good size and clean and walk out onto the beach. There is a walk way around the front of the bay with lots of restaurants, bars and other hotels. This was a much quieter area than the shopping streets, which we preferred at night.
Hotel was very clean. Rooms were basic but adequate. We paid extra for balcony and pool view and I would advise doing this. Some rooms had no balcony at all. Most balconies were French - I would request ground floor level as then you get a small terrace area. Rooms at this level were not noisy. However rooms at reception level are noisy as bars are open until very late.
Don't book trips through rep in hotel. Cheapest travel agent we found was Queen Travel (go out of Reception, turn right and walk down hill - Queen Travel on left) (tell Farti that Helen sent you!) trip prices were 50% less than Direct Holidays prices.
We went to Ephesus and Pamukkale and this trip was the highlight of our holiday.

Hotel Baba is worth every bit of your money! The pool and golf bar staff are very kind and friendly! The food is good and the desserts are ace! Also you have shops, night clubs, bars and restaurants right outside your hotel! The music is loud but you cant hear it in your room the pool is nice enough and clean.
The water park is ok but it takes ages to get on the rides. The water activities are great you must go on the ringos! The marble, flying fish and the rest are really good to! The boat trip is a very fun day as well the food is nice and all the trips are fun the camel rides are ok but it only lasts 2 mins and costs 20 ytl but it’s still good.
There is a good cheap food shop called for you just round the corner and up a little hill. Well I had a great holiday best ever hope to go again! Xx Jodie xx

We found hotel Baba a very entertaining hotel and enjoyed it everyday we had a great laugh having a Turkish bath.
We were very disappointed the last day as we found out that a card we bought to use for the phone in the hotel didn't work and we had a £400 phone bill.
Apart from the receptionists not helping the rest of the staff were very delightful.
We fully recommend this hotel just don't purchase phone cards.

This holiday was superb!!
The Hotel was great. The entertainment at night was brill and the staff were very friendly.
The hotel is literally on the beach and all of the attractions are right there too.
We went on a fantastic boat trip for the whole day. On the trip we visited different island, road camels, snorkelled and were given refreshments. All for a tenner!
The hotel is located right by lots of local shops that sell everything you could need and there's loads of bars and clubs right on the hotel doorstep.
In our opinion, it is in the perfect location and we highly recommend this hotel and destination.

Everything about this hotel was superb, there was a great big pool with a little one also, there were three pool tables and about two snooker tables, there was a bar and a shop and a cash machine right outside the front entrance.
There were plenty of cheap trips to go on, we went on a boat trip to different islands and beaches, we also rode camels. There were plenty of water sports to enjoy, everything was really close to the hotel, you didn’t have to go far!!
The food was enjoyable, the room was nice but slightly small, the staff were very nice and helpful at all times. I really do recommend this hotel, i would definitely go back every year!!

Jul 2005, Mr PT Watson

Two wonderful weeks spent at the Baba hotel.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Most spoke good English, which they had picked up from tourists over the years. An absolute must at the hotel is the Turkish bath-for around £7 you get 15 minutes in the sauna, 15 minutes in the Jacuzzi then a fantastic relaxing all over massage lasting 15/20 minutes.
You also get a bottle of water to keep you cool in the sauna and a drink of choice when finished. The guy who does it -Ibrahim -is very friendly and helpful. The beach is right outside the front gates, well served by the hotel bar, restaurant and café. The loungers are free.
The hotel also runs a boat trip (another must) visiting five islands where you can see camels(pay to ride), snorkel, have a mud bath(extra charge) etc. included is a light lunch and all for the sum of £10.The hotel has good security with a guard at the front and one at the rear.
The only grumble we had was the choice of food was very much the same.
